I always stay at the Solimar for the Hogh Rockabilly festival it’s has a great location central to all amenities and close to the beach but small enough for the personal touch, so you can relax the food buffet is a good selection and very good desert rays each day. Really enjoyed our stay here. Was slightly disappointed with what was included in the “all inclusive”. They only provided minimal drink options, and water bottles were not included. Lovely comfortable beds good size room , bathroom smelt of sewage, some mornings it was unbearable . Had a few issues with aircon but fixed immediately. Bicycle tourist here! You can leave your bike outside in a gated parking lot. Its pretty safe, I think. For the price and security of the bike, I would say this is a good hotel. Its a bit older, but it was perfect for me. I even got a nice balcony. Very nice staff as well. I didn't have the breakfast, but it looked pretty decent.

We had a great stay in June 2024. This hotel is in a small town 1 - 2 hours outside Barcelona, depending on your transportation. We took the train so it took about 2 hours. This was a great place to unwind after being in the city for a week.

Old hotel with no improvements since 80's. Good location but horrible to find a place to park in the streets cos the hotel charge you €15 per day to park inside. In my room the carpets were really dirt, the air conditioner didn't work in any day that I was there and the balcony slide door didn't lock at all so you room is always open. Nevertheless the breakfast is really good and staff is kind.

It is a great option if you want to enjoy with family or for couples. It is located far away from Sitges downtown but you can reach downtown with the bikes provided at the hotel, with buses tuning every 30 minutes (buses do next you to the train station as well) by taxi (10€ approx to the train station). The hotel offer great views to downtown and the med sea.

We love this hotel! We’ve had many stays here over 8 years and we always have a great time. Had a great week here in October. Having read some of the reviews we had slight reservations but they were totally unfounded. The rooms were great, staff were friendly and the location was fabulous for us (yes, it’s at the end of the promenade and it’s a walk into town but we knew that). The views for the balcony were to die for, so would have no qualms over staying here again in the future.

I paid for the cheapest room to save money on my trip and I was actually impressed with the quality of the room and bed. Small but cute. My partner enjoyed it and it had a nice little view. Hotel was okay. I was constantly woken up early by the cleaners being very loud in the corridors. The design of the building didn't help - the acoustics made the sound seem incredibly loud. I couldn't have a guaranteed lie-in.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and my room (504) was modern and clean. Sadly, there isn’t a lift in the hotel, so it’s ideal for a short stay without much luggage. Hotel offers an ok quality/price deal. What we did not appreciate is that we booked a standard double room via Booking.com. Yet when we arrived at reception for check-in, we were told that we were assigned an “under average” room and that we could get a better one if we paid 14-18 euros more per night. We spent 5 days with our two dogs, and the treatment was great. In a beautiful setting, we were able to enjoy disconnection in a spacious, bright apartment equipped with the essentials. I really wanted to love my stay at Calipolis and I did! the Team at the hotel across the board could not be more welcoming helpful or friendly! Highly recommend this hotel based on its location. My partner and I wanted to be near the gay night scene, great restaurants, and beach. This hotel provided. We arrived with a basic room reservation and quickly upgraded to a room with a view (room 403) it was beautiful. The hotel is slightly dated but overall a positive and clean environment. Central place, beds are a. Bit hard, prefer the room behind to be quiet. Good breakfast with a good choice (eggs are cooked on your choice) and served late. Wifi is a bit low, service is nice. Rooms and badrooms have been refreshed lin 2015.

Good hotel smack bang in the centre of town. I chose a rear facing room due to late night noise (obviously with being in centre all the front facing rooms can hear the bars noise etc. Room cleaned daily amazing shower!!! The location is great for access to a range of beaches, cafes and shops. There is a cosy cafe on the ground floor of the hotel itself. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and even helped us load a heavy bag in the car when they saw us struggling on the roadside. The non sea-view room had a little balcony which was a nice touch. We would happily return.

Loved my stay at this hotel. Not only is the hotel absolutely gorgeous from the outside with a perfect location literally on the beach with a pier and by the church and 2-5 mins from all major stores, but all staff working were super helpful and friendly!! We had a great experience. It is a beautiful building outside and inside. And on a great location, meter from the beach, and this beach is the calm beach where you have a lot of space. Only stayed it as stop over but it is lovely spot beside the beach and old town. We got side beach view room thankfully. The reception is open 24/7 which is our reason to book it due to late arrival .Definitely will stay it again

I love the coffee shop downstairs .I can work from my laptop and look at the ocean meanwhile : soooo amazing. I would add more food items to the menu : I would eat all day long ♥️😊 Waitresses are lovely and with a great vibe

Free parking before the gate, after the gate parking is 25 euro, hotel gives you free 30 minutes voucher. Surrounded by two beaches, the beach which is next to hotel is better.

Great views, fantastic location. Rooms are tired but I feel like thats reflected in price. 1st night air-conditioning didn't seam to be working as well as could be but they fixed it the next morning for us. Pool clean, had a lovely relaxing time here so would recomend. Word of warning, the beach nextdoor is optional clothing and town 'only 15 minutes walk" is hilly.

It has a nice pool, very close to the beach and the city center, Although it is a bit old model, these advantages are very attractive, they definitely deserve to be visited for the third and fourth times.
