I always stay at the Solimar for the Hogh Rockabilly festival it’s has a great location central to all amenities and close to the beach but small enough for the personal touch, so you can relax the food buffet is a good selection and very good desert rays each day. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend a stay here and good value for money. I stay half board and in a pool view apartment which are basic and clean with forage cooker ring clean and a daily maid service who are great.

We had such an awesome stay here.
The staff were so friendly and helpful.
No matter what time we went out we returned to a spotless apartment with bed turned and fresh towels

We stayed for a week, we stayed half board with buffet breakfasts and buffet dinner. They were good, with lots to choose from.
We stayed in a premium terrace room which was lovely - the terrace was massive and had views of the pools and the evening entertainment. The hotel it self it’s good - it’s a good 3 stars. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The maid who cleaned the rooms each day were amazing - very clean to a high standard.
Our two boys loved the pools and the two playground. The kids club and the evening entertainment for more geared to Spanish kids but our kids still enjoy what they put on.
Evening entertainment was fun, the bar served good drinks. With all the waiters being very friendly. It would have been nice if there was a snack menu for lunchtime but it didn’t really bother us too much as we popped out to the supermarket around the corner if we needed anything.
Our room had a stove and microwave which was very handy to cook stuff in the room for the kids!
The location was great - 1 min walk to the beach. So handy!
Overall a great stay, I would recommend to families for a pool/beach holiday.
Great value - we booked directly with the hotel over email and was very easy!
We stayed with my parents and the hotel even gave us a wheelchair for the whole week for my dad to use - great service

Nice family rooms with one bedroom and a sleeping couch for 2 persons in the kitchen/houseroom area, two swimming pools, one with warm water.

Convenient location and friendly staff.
The room was rather small but clean. Big bathroom and for a short stay it is OK.
The road outside was a bit noisy. Breakfast bar is huge because of the many hotel guests but it does not really offer a big variety of choices. If you like a crowded pool area, this Hotel offers it all :). Great for kids though.
The best thing is the close walking distance to the beach. The beach front offers everything. I enjoyed the early morning live along the beach and the late night live with many restaurants and bars.

the first thing is that pictures which they have DO NOT show real picture what is going on.
swimming pools are much smaller than in picture and window view is for ruined houses without windows, like in Getto
it is an Apart hotel but according to hotel rules NOBODY can't come inside hotel is they are not booked room. We have friends in Spain and their son want to come to my son to room number to play and staff (girl was really unpleasant) said that i have to pay 50 Euro for each guest what i want to invite even is they want to stay only 1 minute!!!
this is ridicules and i never ever see it before

i did not buy anything at cafe in hotel and when i checked out the lady on reception ask me to pay for water which i "buy" and after i said that i did not take anything and please show me a bill with my signature she said like "ok, if you dont want to pay we can do it as compliment", i said that i don't need a compliment coz i did not buy or take completely anything and she even said that its mistake or sorry...

We absolutely loved being the guests of this hotel! big rooms, nice breakfasts, big terrace where we can sunbathe but still to stay in our room during the lazy days of our vacation. The location is very nice, everything is close by - cafes, restaurants, shops. Also there's a hotel parking so its easy to leave your car

talking about the hotel - I can say that everything is absolutely beautiful. Beautiful people, beautiful place, beautiful food. Travelling with kids is very easy as here's a kids room and on the weekend there's heaps of different activities for them. Also they have a kids swimming pool, so parents can relax and have a few cocktails while kids are playing. The hotel personal is very kind and the service is absolutely amazing. 10 out of 10

The reception was fantastic and extremely nice and welcoming. The room and terrace was more spacious than we expected and we would be happy to return. Our wifi, however was quite slow in the evening.
