Location: 60 km from the airport of Barcelona, 45 km from the airport of Girona, in the shopping area.
Consists of one 5-storey building.
The hotel has 132 rooms. All rooms are non-Smoking.
Beach: public, sandy beach 120 m away (2-coastline). Umbrellas, sunbeds on the beach – fee. Between the hotel and the beach is a road and promenade rail journey. The beach is 1 km away.

Really enjoyed our second stay at this hotel. We are family of 4 with a 6 and 11 year old.
Many positives to this hotel which others have mentioned including the service, location, comfy rooms. Spa is fabulous and we enjoyed the family session.
My only feedback to staff would be with regards to the food. A little more variety at breakfast with regards to fruit selection. The only fresh fruit was melon no berries bananas etc. Also no nuts. Coffee is also not very nice from the machine, so if you like proper coffee you would have to go to the bar and pay for one. The restaurant could also do with some decor or plants/ pictures as it’s not the nicest room to sit in.
Staff however were fantastic and so helpful. Love the close beach and bahari beach club. Kids loved the entertainment and the dancing. Also wonderful Italian restaurant next door with amazing food.
Bar staff at the hotel make some great cocktails however it is shame you can not sit outside by the pool in the evening and have a drink. You have to stay indoors

Stayed for 3 days with family of 4.

Great family friendly hotel, great location, just a few minutes from the beach and town centre shops/restaurants. Food at the hotel was always good with many option's daily, all staff were friendly and very helpful, hotel was clean with all necessary facilities. Couldn’t fault it and would recommend to anyone. Loved our stay and will back in future.

Excellent service, clean rooms, and location of the hotel is just a 1 minute walk to the beach. Beach towels provided. Night shows daily at 10pm. Reception staff are extremely helpful and also help you book excursions. We bought a breakfast package and it included a hot breakfast, with fruits, cereals ans breads, coffee and juices. Lovely. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is good, and especially in the off-season in winter, it’s an ideal stay. The food is delicious, there’s champagne in the morning. I’ve already been here several times in January.

Everything is great. The food is good. The attitude of the staff is friendly. On the first day, the maid saw that we had put a blanket under the pillows and that it was too low to sleep, and immediately brought additional pillows. There are even toothbrushes in the room. Underground parking 150 meters from the hotel costs 10 euros per day. Water for lunch and dinner 2.50 liters. Wine and champagne for breakfast. I recommend to all.

Great hotel, wonderful professional staff, amazing restaurant. This is the third summer our family has spent in this hotel. Pleased with the cleaning of the rooms, excellent cuisine. The restaurant has a lot of fruits, vegetables, a variety of meat dishes and seafood, excellent desserts, drinks, and pastries. Guests were often treated to jamon, which the chef professionally cut right in the restaurant hall. The staff is generally wonderful - they greet you warmly, respond to any request, remember regular guests (we are generally greeted like family))) I wish they could change the pillows in the rooms to more comfortable ones, otherwise they are too small)))) the time will come, and we will definitely come back! !!!

Nice hotel in Calella, near the see line cost in the heart of the old town. Also, it's a big advantage to have the ability to park a car in closed parking. Personal is open, friendly, and polite. Wonderful people! Maybe it would be nice to do some renovation of the rooms, but it's not that critical. Our room was always clean and provided all necessary. Near the hotel, you can find a big open pool, spa complex, etc. The hotel also has its pool&spa, you always will have a possibility to choose :)
I was looking for a cozy place near the sea to have a rest after my daily journey to noisy, but great and beautiful Barcelona, Girona, Montserrat and others around - and I found it!
Definitely will be back :)

We had an 8 day stay at the hotel. Upon arriving, Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel looked impressive. However, after opening the curtain in our room we realised there was a lot of black mould on the walls. This was quite disappointing and worrying. Staff did move us to a different room quickly after we raised this issue and were nice to us which was good. The cleanliness of the rooms were not great.
Food was a hit and miss, some days the food was good and some days the food was bad. There was no aircon as the hotel had it switched off (this was not informed to us prior to booking) and sleeping was a struggle in the hot weather, especially me being pregnant!
The sound proofing in the rooms was bad and you could hear everything outside the room. A lot of kids in the hotel making noise.
We would definitely come back to Callela but not to this hotel. For the price we paid we could have got a lot better.

I was thinking of not reviewing this place cause we had such a negative experience but I feel this review may help others in their selection.
We spent a week at this hotel. Oy! The guests… so they get enormous amounts of children who act like they haven’t been let out of their cage in years (knock and dash, yelling and running in hallways (faux wood flooring without adequate padding to absorb sound) at any time of day or night) just loud and inconsiderate! If you get 4 hrs of silence to sleep at night count your blessings. The walls are thin so you can hear the neighbors baby cry in the middle of the night as well.
Be careful of the water, I was washing a stain off a sweatshirt with hand soap and rinsed it well my sweatshirt now has a bleached spot on it.
And if you draw a bath you will see the water has a yellow tint to it.
The wifi is mediocre at best.
The front desk staff ignores your existence. Nor would they notice if anyone off the street came in and went up to rooms so safe.
The bed isn’t comfortable.
Their cleaning staff has more talent in customer service than the front desk I recommend management to give the cleaning staff immediate promotion to front desk. They said hi they smiled and were overall the only professional behavior at this hotel.
Upon leaving front desk didn’t even ask if we enjoyed our stay.
