Reviews
It didn't dissapoint. The staff are amazing, really helpful and pleasant. We both had a massage and the lady was brilliant. Without a doubt we will be back
It is worth going half board as the food is very good and varied. All in all a great hotel stay would highly recommend it.
There was one time where me and my friends wanted to visit the hotel spa, but we were treated with some disrespect in the reception. I’m sure this person only had a bad day, so we didn’t think much of it, even though it kind of ruined our spa-day. All in all a very good hotel with nice food and almost perfect employees. Would recommend for sports teams, families, and others looking for a hotel near the beach, the city and sporting activities.
The staff at the reception is extremely friendly, with a good command of English, and always ready to assist you. I especially appreciated that, even though we arrived earlier, we had the option to leave our luggage in a secured room while we waited for our room to be ready. This allowed us to take a walk and enjoy some coffee while waiting.
The outdoor pool is quite small and almost always full of children. There are plenty of loungers available, but I don't like that jumping into the pool is allowed, as it disrupts relaxation. For example, if you're sunbathing or resting on a lounger, it’s easy to get accidentally splashed.
As for the rooms, they aren't too spacious, but they are comfortable. However, the TVs are outdated, which is a bit disappointing for a four-star hotel, considering how accessible modern TVs are nowadays. The air conditioning is adequate, although the air conditioner can be noisy, which is not a big issue. On the other hand, sound insulation is quite poor – the noise from the pool, the street, or neighboring rooms can be bothersome. Since I'm a light sleeper, I used earplugs during my stay due to the excessive noise. Another thing I didn’t like is that there is no power outlet on one side of the bed, which is very inconvenient.
The cleanliness of the rooms is top-notch – the rooms are impeccably clean, maintained daily, the bed linens are changed every few days, and towels are provided daily. A well-deserved five stars for the housekeeping staff who do an excellent job.
There is plenty of hot water, and the water pressure is excellent, though I was on the first floor, so I don’t know what the situation is like on higher floors.
The hotel spa is actually the weakest link of the hotel. I think for 12 euros per person per hour, it should be much better. The spa, at least in our case, only offered a few showers, one Finnish sauna, a larger pool with underwater showers, two overhead showers, and a smaller pool that is supposed to serve as a jacuzzi, but it was all quite underwhelming. In the sauna, there is no sand timer to track how long you’ve been inside, and the sauna is standard, with no option to add water to control the humidity. Honestly, I’d give this spa one star, and that would be generous.
We had a half-board package, meaning breakfast and dinner. The food is typical for Spain, from what I’ve seen – under-seasoned and quickly becomes monotonous. What’s unusual is that the lines for food are enormous, and, for example, at breakfast, it’s very difficult to find eggs, whether boiled or fried, as they run out quickly, and the chef is unable to cook enough for the number of guests present during breakfast/dinner. The desserts are awful – often stale and frozen, and even the pancakes are taken out of the freezer, which is disappointing. My fiancée is a head chef at a restaurant in Belgrade, so I had a bit more insight into what they were doing. The coffee machines are also very poor, with bad coffee, and it’s almost impossible to get a decent espresso. Water is free for breakfast, but for dinner, it costs 2.5 euros, which I don’t understand.
All in all, the hotel has its pros and cons, but I would say they could significantly improve the quality of their services, especially when it comes to the food and the spa center.
With this experience, if I were to return here, I would opt for a room-only stay, but I believe it’s possible to find affordable hotels in the area that likely offer a similar experience.
The food was simple, nothing special. They had a lot of milk options eg harvest milk or lactose free.
All in all it’s not a 4,5-Star Hotel. I can’t understand the good reviews.
Many positives to this hotel which others have mentioned including the service, location, comfy rooms. Spa is fabulous and we enjoyed the family session.
My only feedback to staff would be with regards to the food. A little more variety at breakfast with regards to fruit selection. The only fresh fruit was melon no berries bananas etc. Also no nuts. Coffee is also not very nice from the machine, so if you like proper coffee you would have to go to the bar and pay for one. The restaurant could also do with some decor or plants/ pictures as it’s not the nicest room to sit in.
Staff however were fantastic and so helpful. Love the close beach and bahari beach club. Kids loved the entertainment and the dancing. Also wonderful Italian restaurant next door with amazing food.
Bar staff at the hotel make some great cocktails however it is shame you can not sit outside by the pool in the evening and have a drink. You have to stay indoors
activities for kids and good amenities.
Staff very helpful and hotel good standards.
A short walk to the beach or to the town centre shops.
Would recommend.
