Hotels with pool in Calella

One was that everyone has to pay tourist tax (not mentioned anywhere) and the second blow was that the water park was closed (also no mention of this) However, the hotel is massive, very clean with excellent facilities such as several swimming pools, plenty of bars and 2 pool tables

The hotel was very clean, very accessible, and family oriented, with a water park on site. the staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival

Rooms are beautiful and clean and massive selection of tasty food (obviously came home half a stone heavier!) The staff are just incredible, so friendly, from the cleaners, to the reception staff, the waiters and of course the amazing Animation team! I have to give a special mention to Weiling the waitress in the Habana bar, we have known her for years but she is the kindest lady you will ever meet...

The bar staff were also friendly & helpful and Maribel makes the best cocktails I’ve tasted, she is friendly and helpful and cannot do enough for the customers, she made it feel like home from home

The hotel has 4 separate swimming pools: the newest one on the east wing of the hotel (ideal for smaller children), another one on the west wing of the hotel (with sharp edges, so it's advisable to wear swimming shoes), an indoor pool (which felt a bit dirty), and a separate area just outside of the hotel where the water slides are located (suitable for kids older than 5-6, as there aren't any slides...

The restaurant offers great quality food (though not very varied), and the hotel is very clean in general (apart from the pool area, which could be cleaner)

The pool was big enough to enjoy it, with a jacuzzi nearby which could make you to stay all day long in that spot

Stayed at Hotel Kaktus Playa for five days and had a lovely stay! Firstly the room was beautiful - we had a lovely little balcony which caught the sun mid-afternoon onwards (for when we were at the hotel) the room was nice and spacious for the two of us with lots of storage and wardrobe space

The pool was good for having a wee swim about. The hot tub was a let down - the water was a cool temperature with a few bubble jets on (not sure if the other jets were broke/not turned on or those were the only jets)

Toilet and shower were great and worked fine. Secondly the staff were brilliant - from the staff at reception to the house keeping staff. The room was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels (if required)

It felt out dated and needed a little bit of TLC but it did the job - there was a steam room, sauna, hydro showers, square pool and hot tub. We used the sauna and that was lovely

As soon as we got in , we were able to check in quickly, the receptionist were very helpful and clearly understood that we were very tired! We went up to our room on the fourth floor (they had lifts thankfully), the light had came on as we were walking through the hallway

I Stayed here for a week while in Calella for holiday, The Staff are very kind and helpful. Front desk always ready to answer any questions you may have. The Pool was nice to swim in, And sunbeds on the side

Stayed here for little break away with my mum, aunt and sister. Not much to do in town due to covid pandemic. Have to say it was absolutely fantastic stay! Staff could not of been any nicer and welcoming

Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Bar staff was very nice and entertaining. Would highly recommend this hotel for adults and especially kids as there is loads to do. Thanks again for being so welcoming 😊

The food is super! For example today was a fish day, though the meat was. Sliced melons, watermelon pineapple. The air in the room is heated, if he enable. Barcelona is an hour by train

It's nice what they offer but is not always enough of what you like and the dinner hall cannot accommodate for everyone in the hotel and so can be over crowded and too busy Staff Members I would like to Recognise Extra effort and help to accommodate Me and my Girlfriend are: Ricardo on Reception & Oscar the Bartender Many thanks for our stay and I hope to return soon

Cons: hear neighbors in rooms (didn't bother us since we came to sleep) and in the winter the pool is not heated (I would swim), Wi Fi for the money but Instagram - for free!

Great pools and good entertainment devery evening. Buses 2 min walk, land train to old Calella stops outside the hotel, 5 mins walk to beach. Best of all - the food is fantastic

Get pool view room to minimise noise after midnight as two nightclubs nearby. Calella itself is a cheap resort too. Plus only 45 mins from Barcelona airport

The food is excellent and the pools are great. The only downside is the beds. The hotel has good staff and many activities during the day and night.

Excellent customer service all round, highly recommend. Current building work & noise unfortunate but all night/7 days a week disco located v. near a big let down - especially as revellers aren't considerate

Have stayed at other's but the service. Very relaxing no stress nothing too much trouble. Will definitely stay here when in this area

We stayed on the 8th floor which gave us a lovely view of the sea, town and pool. The entertainment was great, really lively and the staff were really good at getting you involved and have fun

It's a separate room to yourself which is really nice and has a jacuzzi and sauna. In the room there is also a shower, toilet and sink and towels are provided for that occasion

Thoroughly enjoying the holiday, staff is really polite and helpful. Pool entertainment is very fun

Location is the best feature being close to both the beach and town. Getting a bit tired - 80s nautical theme - and the pool is tiny

It is only for adults so whilst I don't dislike children you can lie by the pool and read without being disturbed

Food is stunning plenty to offer, if you are a fussy eater it will be chips shop the way but if you have a pallet for classy food you will be pleased with the menu. Will definitely be returning 😁

Positive: very clean hotel throughout, rooms are beautiful, wonderful sea view, pool area has plenty of sunbeds, most staff are very friendly and professional, great selection for breakfast, excellent location

The lifts were not a problem as some reviews said never had to que in the breakfast or dinner que again that may depend on the month you visit however we was there when the local Ironman 2024 was happening in Calella so it was busy but we was not affected

The roof top adults only area is a gem. We took our own drinks as there is no roof top bar. Glass elevator running upside the hotel lovely views & the train line does not disturb your sleep at night

Very proactive and always available for help. They always provided a highchair for my toddler before we had to ask, and the breakfast buffet selection was my favourite part of our stay

If you also want to spend a day strolling by the pool and wellness then I would rather recommend another hotel because the pool is very small but clean

Walls are also very thin (we could hear other people snoring and watching tv in the other room, and a couple fighting on the floor above us). The location is great, the staff was friendly and the breakfast was perfect!

Definitely not a 4* hotel, but still worth the price. The hotel esthetics is from 00’s but it is very clean and everything works properly in the room

Air condition worked great! Aside from the look of the room, it also had a not very nice smell (but noy t a deal breaker)

The location: you do not have a nice view, is located on a busy train track, keep this in mind, we were away every time and found the proximity of the train connection a good point, in an hour we were in Barcelona

We had a disappointing stay at the Hotel Volga. Considering it is rated 4 stars, it has none of the facilities or touches you would expect of a 4 star. The staff on reception were cold, unfriendly and unhelpful

He is very welcoming and nice. There is a huge variety of foods to choose from, and it is of good quality. If food is an important factor for you when choosing a hotel, I would highly recommend Hotel Bernat II

Independently visited Girona and Barcelona

Everyone working down at the food buffet were awesome. They were always nice and treated us with a positive attitude. The best hotel staff I have ever encountered

We have been staying at the Bernat II for a few years and hadn't been back since the pandemic It didn't dissapoint. The staff are amazing, really helpful and pleasant. We both had a massage and the lady was brilliant

Without a doubt we will be back It is worth going half board as the food is very good and varied. All in all a great hotel stay would highly recommend it

Me and my friend took a picture with Kim, the flower shirt guy, as this will be kept as a memory for this nice hotel. The man that always opens the buffet (the guy with glasses), is also 10/10

We like the swimming pool, there are a plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas (but if you wanna take place have to go in the morning or late morning)

The animation is poor, young 1 and sometimes 2 girls (they are very nice) but need also is something more also for adults not only for kids. There are games in the play area (1€ per game)

I disappoint only one thing about the excursion: there is the excursion to the Lighthouse that is only 15 minutes walking time from the Hotel, as we heard that it’s the hotel staff brings you in shortcuts we planned to go either them, they didn’t say any information about how much time it will take (it was 1 hour and half I guess), to bring water (it was so hot so hot, and anyway have some water),...

I appreciated that the hotel organise this free of charge but please comunicate, talk or write! And we haven’t seen even in the cupboard this trip just when we asked to the reception they said there is this trip

The only point I'd highlight is that the rooms were a little on snug/small side and as we were at back of hotel,the noise from main road was hard to avoid

Enjoyed a wonderful 7 day stay here, staff were super courteous and helpful, huge and varied choice of food for all meals, as we were all inclusive

Most alcoholic drinks were included and variety of cocktails,which were very generous in size,and all coffees and waters included in stay. The beach was within 5 minutes walk,and main centre within 10 minute walk,

Plenty of fresh salads, meat and all kinds of rice and potato. Rooms are amazing, clean and comfy beds Pool also great, with a deep and shallow end. Right beside the beach, only a 2 mins walk Staff so so kind

Great location, good rooms and staff. Only challenge was noon availability of decent vegan options. You will have workarounds but not proper meals. Glad I did half board only.

The neighbourhood is very noisy at the same time - there are several clubs around and if you want to have some silent rest in the night without drunk singing German teens and drunk yelling UK girls, it is not the place for you

The hotel was a few minutes walk to the beach, and it is near everything. The pool area is well maintained. We will definitely return a recommend this hotel

Also there's no kettle , tea or coffee & other complimentarys in the room, the safe and fridge you need to hire if you want to use it. The rooms are clean, everyday room services, changing towels

The hotel itself is very good - the room was clean, everything was new and not weared, the reception staff was more than friendly, and they even did breakfast for our group at 3AM

We wet Bed and breakfast , the breakfast was buffet, but there was also chefs there to cook omelettes, pancakes, fried eggs. There was a variety of food available

evening meal is much better than breakfast. Pool Great For The Kids, Not Too Big So Very Easy To Watch Them. On the Down side it's very noisy at night

Hotel location is good to 😊 If you have a car There will be a bit problem to found car park space Ask local people to direct you to free be8g car park 5min walk from hotel But it's very full we sometimes leave car in local supermarket parking for few h till evening to get space in free car park

Great value for the money paid. Activities to be done at the hotel evening time. This is a family friendly place so expect lots of running kids and noise at all times. You pay for 3 stars hotel so don't expect more

Pool is nice but if you want a chair you need to wake up at 8 and stay at the queue otherwise no sun chairs. Jacuzzi is always cold and has a very strong smell being covered. Open bar with food next to the pool

It's a 3 start hotel so you not expect a lot But they do amazing. Food its really nice and lots to choice. We get a room on last floor with amazing see views 😍 Rooms are clean and every day they clean in good standard

Stayed wiih my family for a week.Friendly staff, good food, good location 10 minutes from the beach. Family friendly with kids activities.

There's no entertainment in the hotel and you need to go to nearby Hotel Bon Repos in the evening, on the whole the animacio team are good but there is a magic show called Mag Magic which uses animals as part of its act, sadly I fear for the welfare of the animals and hope that the hotel stop engaging this act in the near future! Overall if you want somewhere cheap and cheerful to put your head down...

The man at the front desk was super helpful and nice. They have a pool, a little adults only sunning pool on the roof, a jacuzzi on the roof, and an indoor spa pool and steam room (was by reservation only due to covid)

Big room, coffee maker, hot water, great shower, balcony, black out curtains, USB charging ports. Situated in the middle of town but near the beach and on the street that has an underpass for beach access

Despite his aching all night German youth slept well, the insulation is saved, but the neighbors could hear very well benefit at the hotel no one was walking. Very clean everywhere, great service

Most of the 1 star reviews should be ignored, seem to be politically motivated due to the Catalonian independence process, and a fake rumour that the hotel had denied rooms to the Spanish police

We only spent one night but it was very clean and comfortable. The bar on the corner was a bit noisy but we had drink tickets to it so we tried it and the food was fine but felt pretty touristy

Great hotel for families with kids, every afternoon and evening there is activities like crafts and mini disco. Only thing I would add is music besides the pool area. Something cheerful and with summer viber

Good location! 4 min walk to city mainstreet and 6 min to the beach. The Pool is nice and there is entertainment for the kids with boardgames, facepainting, bingo etc. Really friendly staff all around

Good: Pool, food, table pool. Bad: No water stopper for baths, weird light button, rooms with more than three people are a bad idea, not enough electricity cables.

Our time in this hotel was wonderfull. Food was always fresh, waiter and the other ladys in restaurant were always so polite and kind. Workers on receptions were very helpfull and friendly

The swimming pool wasn't very big but the beach was only a short stroll away do it didn't matter. The restaurant was down stairs from the ground floor with plenty of seating & always a good choice of lovely food

The pool is cold and suthing there is a pool on the roof with sun beds and you feell like your swimming in the sea the restaurant is a floor underground the two lifts will take you to any floor the buffet is delicious see you there!

Just spent ten days and enjoyed every moment can't wait to go back it's my second time there management very helpful and pleasant as well as all of the staff I felt at home will miss Catalonia thank you all for a wonderfull holiday

Excellent hospitality, view of the finish line and the sea, extra early breakfast on race day - manager took requests for evening meal the night before the race and delivered as promised! 10/10 would stay here again

We stayed here on one of our many holidays in Spain. It's a nice little Hotel we had a room with a lovely sea view from our balcony

Really do not understand all of the horrible reviews, it’s not 5* luxury but that’s obvious surely… it’s a bargain! Staff were really lovely, really really helpful and just friendly especially reception! The rooms were clean and beds were sorted and towels changed every day! Food- again not 5* luxury and there wasn’t LOADS of choice, but there was always something for everyone, just not as varied...

If I had seen the cctv I could have found out who stole them, but like I said, our fault for leaving them! They do play music by the pool during the day, but there is no evening entertainment but there is plenty other places nearby to enjoy a night out

The pool was pretty cold but it’s expected as we went in mid September and gets quite chilly in the evening, the pool area also is very small, there isn’t enough sun beds for everyone, but everyone manages

Hotel is quite small, so no crowds, staff always there to help, and manager actually walking around, checking everything not sitting in the office. Lovely time in a lovely place!

Only issue I had which is our fault is I left my partner with my AirPods, she ended up leaving them on the sun bed and forgot about them, they were handed it by a lovely women, but unfortunately another women overheard this and claimed they were her AirPods, unknown to the lady who handed them in
