Rooms were nice especially the shower but didn't like the open style bathroom and the big sliding door which was too heavy and noisy. The hotel has a huge flaw that kills all the pros - ZERO SOUNDPROOFING in the rooms. The kitchen in the restaurant is good, but not every day and usually at weekends when the hotel calls a lot of the Spaniards.

The hotel 4 stars does not pull at all. WiFi is paid and expensive. With Parking all the trouble. The rooms audibility of some PPC like the walls are made of cardboard. The only plus is dinner. Dinner is just gorgeous, and can say the rooms are very large beds. At this pluses end.

This was a great mostly inclusive hotel for our time in Calella, Costa Brava, Catalunya, España! Mostly inclusive in that our room came with the meal package. Breakfast, lunch, dinner were included. Great pools and good entertainment devery evening. Kids club. Buses 2 min walk, land train to old Calella stops outside the hotel, 5 mins walk to beach. Best of all - the food is fantastic. Eat royally every day. Get pool view room to minimise noise after midnight as two nightclubs nearby. Calella itself is a cheap resort too. Plus only 45 mins from Barcelona airport.

The food is excellent and the pools are great. The only downside is the beds. The hotel has good staff and many activities during the day and night.

Decent hotel. Location is the best feature being close to both the beach and town. Getting a bit tired - 80s nautical theme - and the pool is tiny. Nevertheless we seem to keep coming back because it offers good value for money, you can park easily and the food is pleasant. It is only for adults so whilst I don't dislike children you can lie by the pool and read without being disturbed.

We have been staying at the Bernat II for a few years and hadn't been back since the pandemic It didn't dissapoint. The staff are amazing, really helpful and pleasant. Just spent ten days and enjoyed every moment can't wait to go back it's my second time there management very helpful and pleasant as well as all of the staff I felt at home will miss Catalonia thank you all for a wonderfull holiday

It is amazing hotel! Spotless rooms, fresh food and lovely people. We loved the pool bar and pool, however small was clean and nice to swim in. Hotel is quite small, so no crowds, staff always there to help, and manager actually walking around, checking everything not sitting in the office. Lovely time in a lovely place!

The hotel was nice and the staff were good but the noise was too much from other younger guests. Service vehicles on the area were making a noise from as early as 6am until 11pm

We was very sceptical about this hotel as the reviews weren’t great. But I’m glad we went ahead and stayed! Overall the hotel is a decent price, you get what you pay for. Yes the food can be repetitive and yes sometimes it isn’t very warm, (nothing like cold baked beans to start your day off) I’m not a fussy eater so I will eat things cold and I will try everything, but my partner survived on buttered...

Really do not understand all of the horrible reviews, it’s not 5* luxury but that’s obvious surely… it’s a bargain! Staff were really lovely, really really helpful and just friendly especially reception! The rooms were clean and beds were sorted and towels changed every day! Food- again not 5* luxury and there wasn’t LOADS of choice, but there was always something for everyone, just not as varied...

5 day break in the sun in this pleasant hotel. Not 4 star but more like a three, but for the price we paid we could not have been more satisfied. All staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel and pool area very clean. We had a tiny balcony but could see other balconies were bigger so if this is important then request and I'm sure if they can they would oblige. The food was sufficient and we never struggled...

Love the two double bed together, perfect for family (of 3-5 people). Not far from the beach (about 7-15mins walks). Lovely breakfast but not manys choice to choose from. Lovely staff.
