PROS
- Your room gets cleaned daily, unless you don't want it to be. you can put a do not disturb sign on your door
- If you get all inclusive, you do indeed get everything promised, you get bar drinks for free. breakfast, lunch and dinner for free
- the rooms are fairly sized. it was not a big problem for me and my family as we only wanted the rooms to sleep in. since we were going to go swimming all day and exploring Spain anyways not just staying in our hotel rooms the whole time
- The places nearby are beautiful. and the beach is about a 5-10 minute (maximum) walk. there is also a lot of shops nearby
- Just about everyone gets a balcony in their room. being nice for if it rains and you don't want to stay cooped up inside your room
- Spain is quite cheap in general, The little supermarket nearby has some cheap stuff, such as towels for 5 euro (3.50 pounds), bracelets for as cheap as 50 cents euro.
CONS
- The lifeguards at the pool do nothing. they just wait for their shift to finish. when me and my family went there was rules such as no toys in the water, no diving, ECT and everyone did these things and the lifeguard never batted an eye. Once when it was closing time everyone got out except these 2 children who basically just had the whole pool to them and the lifeguard didn't care. walking off
- If you are British you will get heavily Discriminated against. the Spanish people in this hotel DO NOT like British people nor tourists. that bringing me to another point that the young children at this hotel are extremely rude and have absolutely no respect, some little girls kept starting fights with my younger brother and his friends and even i myself had some random rivalry with random children way younger than me? and random families hogging 4 umbrellas for them self's?
- About the pools. the pool opens at 9:00AM after breakfast and closes at 7:30, 30 minutes after dinner starts. on my last day at the hotel they decided to open it at 9:30 and the lifeguard started telling people to get out at 6:50? missing a whole 40 minutes of swimming.
- THE BAR!! If you don't get all inclusive, DO NOT buy from the bar. its an absolute scam. the alcoholic drinks are just 2 shots of actual alcohol watered down. the milkshakes are just milk with cocoa powder, the slushies are watery, the non alcohol cocktails are basically just the same juice as in the dining hall just with ice. and the 'hot snacks' such as fries, burgers, toast. ECT are only open from 11AM to lunch time, which is around 1PM i think?
- I've seen people in the reviews complain about noise, around
night time it was not really as loud as the reviews were making it out to be. the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from outside the hall and downstairs if someone is yelling. it is quite loud at around 8PM-2AM as the pub right near the hotel is open. but i just thought I'd include this for parents travelling with noise sensitive children.
- The dining hall food is bad. ill admit. for the money i Payed i tried to get myself to like it! but i just couldn't. Sometimes when they have leftover food from lunch, they'll make something out of it for dinner, like with leftover broccoli from lunch they made some sort of broccoli soup for dinner? And in the dining hall the juice machines most of the time run water instead of juice. when i first tried it i just thought the juices were clear? but it was just cold water instead.
- There is not much to do. in the hotel all you can really do is eat, tan, swim, play pool table for one euro and the kids play room was closed my whole stay.
- The beds are hard, it really depends on your luck though, one of my family members got a soft one while we both got hard ones,
We like the swimming pool, there are a plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas (but if you wanna take place have to go in the morning or late morning). The animation is poor, young 1 and sometimes 2 girls (they are very nice) but need also is something more also for adults not only for kids. There are games in the play area (1€ per game).
There is a mini club (we didn’t need).
Receptionist are good.
I disappoint only one thing about the excursion: there is the excursion to the Lighthouse that is only 15 minutes walking time from the Hotel, as we heard that it’s the hotel staff brings you in shortcuts we planned to go either them, they didn’t say any information about how much time it will take (it was 1 hour and half I guess), to bring water (it was so hot so hot, and anyway have some water), and that isn’t easy to take the tour for who has very young kids or difficult to walk a lot, or old people. My husband has a disability in a leg, at some point I was scared that he could fell where we were climbing.
If we knew, we had chosen to go by ourself. There was 35 degrees. When we came back we went at the first restaurant to drink as we were exhausted.
I appreciated that the hotel organise this free of charge but please comunicate, talk or write! And we haven’t seen even in the cupboard this trip just when we asked to the reception they said there is this trip. Even the receptionist said that the meeting point was in the beach instead of in the hotel hall! I give 3 star in this because of lack of communication. But at the end lovely stay. Good price!
It's three star, so don't come in with ridiculously high expectations.
Rooms are basic but comfortable, the whole place is clean and we enjoyed our stay.
Rooms were small and the bathrooms were barely clean. No lock on the patio door. Walls are paper thin. Go somewhere else!
I have recently booked a room in this horrendous hotel, I am writing this review to inform about the unexisting service and the filthy room.
As soon as i entered my room, my heart froze. My eyes widened. Firstly, i found multiple, disturbing, black pubic hairs every where I looked. Moreover, the size of my room was the opposite of what i was expecting. We were 4 people with all the beds stuck together, as there was no space what so ever. Lastly, due to hot, extreme temperatures outside, we decided to turn on the AC. However, this did not happen. The AC was practically out of service. I couldn’t stop sweating.
Due to all the reasons listed above, I personally do not recommend staying here as you will have the worst time of your life.
The rooms are fine but the walls are paper thin and the Spanish staying at the hotel are lacking the social skills to turn their voices down st all hours of the day and they have full blown shouting conversations in the corridors at midnight, not great when you have children and want a decent sleep! They show no respect at all, slamming doors running around, children shouting and screaming and banging on other doors. This lasts a good 30-45 mins. Conversations and tvs heard through the walls. Absolutely no entertainment put on other than a 'disco' one night that was all Spanish songs and felt like a private party we wasn't invited to.
Pool was ok, however, lifeguard sat on his phone while my daughter was struggling and she actually shouted help twice, I rushed to help her slipping on the plastic floor by the pool falling back and almost knocking myself out. I still got to my daughter before the lifeguard looked up. He didn't even check we were ok, another holiday maker did.
Very disappointed and won't stay here again. The staff mostly give off the impression that we are a burden on them. Choosing to serve the Spanish first regardless of standing waiting before them. It would be nice if they would crack a smile.
The transfer we had just dropped us off 2 streets away and didn't tell us where to go so at 4am due to delays we had to go in to another hotel and ask for help.
It was a cheap last minute get away. But not the relaxing kind I'd hoped for!
The walls are paper thin could here all sorts going on up stairs to the side all around not much sleep. The entertainment area/ bar was so boring no atmosphere just like sitting in a doctors sugery no lights if you sat out side you were mostly in the dark. We did not experience any intertainment all week only when the Spainish turned up on the the weekend.
