Puerto Caleta Hotel

My advise to anyone due to travel to this hotel is change it now to avoid the grief when you get here. Food is utterly disgusting we have used all our holiday money eating out or the 3 grandchildren we have with us would starve. The staff are lovely but not enough of them so pool toilets out of order for 5 days and still out of order. Roof top pool out of order and definitely does not look like the pictures they have airbrushed. 86 sunbeds that are not in the best condition with over 300 rooms you have no chance of getting one. Daughter’s room has no lights that work. We both have no TV remotes and no plugs for the baths. Have tried to move hotels but simply do not have £1000 to be able to do this. I am not a fussy eater but I have eaten nothing but plain bread during our stay, if there is any food often there are no plates or cutlery. I do wish we had changed this holiday before arriving, another little point as well the drop off point is a the top of the road so if you’ve got children or disabled persons this is tricky and tough as the pavements quite uneven. Wristbands are removed at checkout time which apparently it stated in our booking but it does not. No way will we be paying for keeping our room as we’ve eaten out for the whole of our stay but it’s still a nightmare as we are not picked up until 7pm. Counting the days and hours until we return home. Do hope that our complaints are listened to so anyone coming out has a better experience.

I’m shocked and saddened by the reviews I’ve read and I’ve not even been yet after reading your reviews I’m worried about my stay in a few weeks why has the manager not listened to the complaints of the customer's about the rooms being outdated and problems that us the customers are having in the rooms surely that has to fall at the feet of the manager/owners of the hotel do something constructive and get the complaints sorted then you will get 4/5 star reviews it’s simple you want our money we want the best from our holidays these complaints in your reviews have been going on for many many months so why o why haven’t you listened to your customers complaints and acted on their feedback/review's they won’t return if you don’t and why is it you have to rent a kettle/toaster when we have paid for a self catering holiday you need said items to have a self catering experience easyJet holidays is miss selling holidays please listen to your customers and stop fobbing us off. 🤐 The beast from the east 🥸😤

If this hotel was in the uk it would be shut down. In our apartment there were rusty, sharp edges in the bathroom. The metal bathroom light fittings were covered in rust. Shower screen missing and replaced with an ill fitting curtain. All of the furnishings are old, mismatched and stained. One of the light fittings shorted all the electricity in the apartment There is no iron, kettle, hair dryer or any pool towels, but you can rent them for an extra fee. Lots of cockroaches, and generally speaking, the whole place is grubby, tired and poorly maintained. On the plus side, the staff all seem very nice, reception in particular, and the sheets and towels were lovely and clean ;)
