Hotel Cordoba Center is NOT the same as Hotel Cordoba Centro.
The former is a business hotel on the main road in the city area while the latter is a boutique hotel in the historic city center. We wanted to book Centro (based on its location and reviews), but ended up at Center and by the time we realized our mistake, it was too late!
Hotel Cordoba Center is old and tired looking but the room are spacious, beds are huge and the mattress is very comfortable. Hotel is on the main road and the windows are not sound proof but it still seemed quiet.
Probably a good location for business trips but not for holiday as it is a 30-minute walk from the historic center.
Parking is available at an extra €18 per night.
Bathrooms are large but there is no shower stall. The bathtub is the most uncomfortable bath tub I have seen. There is a very wide rim in black stone around the bathtub that makes it look nice but also makes getting in and out very difficult!!!
The room does have any slippers, shower caps or complimentary water bottles.

We were going to stay here, but had made a mistake with the booking date. Their staff member just smirked at us, offered no help at all to see if they still had a room for us - rude arrogant and unhelpful staff. So glad we didn't stay, as we found a great place with excellent service close to the main attractions. This hotel is away from all you want to see in Cordoba, meaning you will be spending a lot on taxis and Ubers. Also on a main road, so I expect there would be a lot of road noise.

Big hotel with good location, easy to reach and close to the train station. Good restaurants nearby. The rooms are big and comfortable and the rooftop pool is excellent. However, the internet is terrible and the shower kept wildly changing temperatures, to the point you could even hurt yourself - unacceptable for a hotel of this category. Breakfast was ok.

Nice hotel and lovely terrace pool area. Bit of a weird stay though, we came back twice to our room with our door wide open and for some reason they put an extra bed in our room on the 4th day, when they thought the room was for 3 people....on the 4th day....

Hotel Cordoba Center is located at the northern edge of old town Cordoba. It takes 10 min walk to it and the same westwards to the train station.
Hotel has a great modern appearance, as well the vast and beautiful smelling lobby area. All the receptionists were very kind, explaining and recommending things to do or eat.
Room was very modern, seems recently renovated with excellent bedding.
Breakfast was of great and quality variety of cold cuts, cheese, pastries,...
Best part is the rooftop pool which was so rewarding to cool yourself after sightseeing in July scorching heat.
Hotel was more than reasonably priced for such a location and quality. 100% recommend

WARNING!!! You aren't allowed to park your car in front of the hotel because that street isn't the hotel's, but you can stay there for about 10 minutes, you can park in the car park. At the right next to the hotel that street, parking is free, and the left isn't free parking.
Some of the staff is kinda rude. Water and ice 🧊 isn't free. The pool has too much people and you have to pay deposit for the pool towels (each 10€ ). The shampoo there is not really good.

What a great hotel and team. Really nice welcome and check-in, easy parking. The room was great, A large room with a separate changing, wardrobe,bathroom area.
Location was really good , 10 minutes walk to the shops or 20 minutes to the Mezquita-Catedral del Cordoba
We arrived Sunday afternoon and didn't want to run around finding a restaurant that was open and had good air conditioning, it was 37 degrees outside. We decided to stay at the hotel. The restaurant didn't appear to be open but the more casual dining area was. The evening meal was ok, nothing to complain about or write home about.
This changed considerably in the morning with breakfast, and a fantastic area, the selection was great.
Location was really good , 10 minutes walk to the shops or 20 minutes to the Mezquita-Catedral del Cordoba

The location is a 20m walk from the historical sites, so that’s pretty convenient.
But the hotel itself was quite outdated. The a/c in our room wasn’t functioning. It was 25.5C (78F) and it wouldn’t cool down. We informed the front desk at 10pm - they said we would have to wait for an hour before someone could come and check. Finally, closer to 11:30pm, the maintenance guy came by and checked the a/c (all he did was put his hands up to the vent and confirmed that it’s not working). And after he confirmed, the hotel offered us another room on the same floor. We moved to the other room to sleep (the a/c was working fine BUT we could smell cigarette from the vent!). We decided to just go back to our previous room and open the windows and sleep. There was street noise but by this time it was close to 1am and we were too exhausted to reach out to the front desk who overall weren’t too helpful.
The next morning, when taking a shower, we found the water to be lukewarm. It would be hot for only a few seconds. By now, obviously we had zero expectation and decided to just move on since we were anyway checking out.
This was unfortunately the most upsetting night of our entire Spain trip. The hotel staff weren’t even professional enough to acknowledge the situation and apologize. They behaved like there was no issue at all. This hotel experience would’ve ruined Cordoba for us but thankfully the city itself is very beautiful and we loved the rest of our trip here.

Room comfortable BUT let down by no kettle and complimentary coffee, etc, never been to a hotel before without this. Also no tissues provided in room. Buffet breakfast sub standard and not recommended. Nice swimming pool on roof.
