Hotel Macia Alfaros

Very nice hotel. Nice atmosphere and great location.

After a difficult start due to a room that did not match our reservation and a front desk employee who refused to change our room or offer any compensation, we contacted the hotel management.

They responded quickly, provided effective solutions, offered us compensation and complimentary cocktails.

Customer satisfaction is very important to them.

The hotel is extremely well located and very pleasant.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights during a motorcycle tour around Spain.
The hotel was a little difficult to find being tucked away down a small road however once there we were very pleasantly surprised. There was room just outside reception to park the bikes whilst we checked in and unloaded and a secure underground car park.
The hotel has a charming feel to it with a large welcoming reception and lounge area although we never saw the bar open whilst we were there.
The room was clean and spacious with a view out over a courtyard area. There was a small but adequate swimming pool within another courtyard area that was served by a bar/snack facility just off the main restaurant. Not many sun loungers available whilst we were there, could do with adding another dozen or so.
Breakfast was good, plenty of choice and the quality was excellent.
Access to the old town and attractions was good, approximately a 10 - 15 minute stroll away, definitely worth another visit

Great location, excellent staff specially Jose Calero a great embassador for the hotel.
Close to all restaurants and activities

Good hotel, located in the city centre of Cordoba. The room was very clean and the staff in reception was very helpful, especially the young boy

Nice hotel, but fantastic location. Hotel is nicely and uniquely decorated, rooms are comfortable enough for a short stay. Staff, on reception in particular are really friendly and helpful.
The restaurant was closed in the evening but you could order food from the bar, this was okay but I wouldn’t eat there again. Breakfast wasn’t great, but was alright.
Brest thing is the location, such a short walk into historical Cordoba with parking (albeit very tight parking) on site - it’s a perfect spot to explore the city.

Nice hotel, but no facilities available. This should have been made clear when booking, no bar no room service no breakfast, you can't even get a coffee.
I feel cutting down on staff should be reflected in the price.
Also on reviews it was said to be next to the cathedral it's not, it's on a busy road, that can be very noisy.

Amazing staff, good food, best hotel in Town.

Very nice hotel, not far from city centre. Nice congress room, hotel staff (pool we did not have time to experience). Lovely breakfasts! The only negative was quite dark rooms.
