Ibis Hotel

Very disappointed with my stay at Ibis this time.
I had booked a room with breakfast, but upon check-in, I was informed that breakfast was unavailable due to kitchen renovations. While we understood the situation and received a refund for the breakfast, the problems didn’t stop there.
The next morning, I was woken up at 8 AM by loud renovation noise, which continued throughout the entire day. When I complained, explaining that I had come to the hotel to sleep and rest, I was told there was nothing they could do.
The staff were friendly, but unfortunately, that did not make up for the overall poor experience.
Honestly, I would rate this stay a 0/10.

False advertisement. According to booking.com and Ibis's website in Nov 2024, they offer air conditioning. However, they shut down the hotel's air-conditioning system during our stay because the COMPANY thought it's cool enough at night. Even with complaints, they refused to turn on the A/C and would only provide table fan to us and suggested us to open the window so that cool air could be brought into the room. So could noise, bugs, dirt, rain and potential thefts!!! My family member was not able to sleep tight because of the noise and concern of safety because her room was facing the street and the window had no security bars/screens. There were numerous previous reviews in regard of AC usage but despite of responses, there was no improvement. The company dictated the room temperature, not the customers. I would not consider this accommodation at all if I had known about the possibility of A/C being shut down.

The rooms are small and cramped, and there is no space to fit all the luggage. The bathroom is tiny and the lamps are literally half lamps. Some rooms smell like cigarettes and other rooms’ doors don’t lock. The beds are also different sizes. I wouldn’t stay here again.
