Granada, Plaza Manuel Cano, 2 🧭 Map
My rating here is strictly for the breakfast buffet, as we were staying at the sister hotel next door.
The breakfast buffet is the best we’ve had at this trip from portugal onto and across spain.
Great variety, super friendly staff, and delicious food overall
Priced at 16 euro for adults, half price for kids
Highly recommended hotel in the heart of Granada. Good location, great service, luxury rooms. Restaurant, Gastrobar, great staff, Federico helped us choosing an excellent wine, very good recommendations on our food, Katherine, Julio, very attentive. We had a very good experience in this hotel, it was not in our plans to stay here, but thanks God we did. Try the “jamon ibérico” is a must.
I didn’t stay in the hotel, as I live locally, but I used the Spa services. I wanted to specially commend Giovanna, the massage therapist who helped me get rid of some back and neck pain I was experiencing. She was fantastic; I felt completely restored after the massage. Very recommendable!
Very good hotel with nice rooms and good breakfast. 15 minutes walking from the center. Spa is good, although the massage service can be improved. Parking, 15 EUR per day. Recommended!!
Very nice hotel, a bit outside the city very center (10-15 minutes walk, 50 minutes from Alhambra), but still a good position to start from. The room was good, well furnished, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was also very good, with a good variety of products. I'll consider coming again to this hotel if I ever come back to Granada :)
My partner and I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful. Special shout out to Rocio from the front desk team who accommodated our needs accordingly. Breakfast was excellent - you couldn’t have asked for more food choices! The gym room was small but had everything one needs to work out for a couple of days. Lastly, the pool area was lovely too with a great space to sunbathe!

Rooms are very outdated and not sound proof. I can hear my neighbour talking sound and clear. Breakfast is average but they do offer a big range choices. Scrabbled egg was dry as beef jerky and pastry were unfortunate also dry.
Covid cleaning are thorough on tables and chairs but there was only 1 ‘invisible’ hand sanitizer for the entire breakfast area
I think there are several positives that led me to give a 4, but I do want to outline some of the negatives as well. Overall, we were happy with our stay and would still encourage others to book here, as the positives greatly outweighed the negatives for us.
Pros:
-Hotel staff were kind and very helpful
-The beds slept pretty good
-Housekeeping was on top of it.
-LOCATION is unbeatable. We were able...
Breakfast, service and location excellent.
The mini gym is just 3 cardio machines, no even a pair of dumbbells.
Room was very good, “clean”, with a very large terrace. “Clean” as we found a pair of boxers from previous guests in the wardrobe while we were packing for leaving… otherwise everything was ok.
We celebrated a family event recently. Great venue and food but most importantly, the staff really went the extra mile for the hosts and guests. We'll done Dina and team!!!
This is probably the best hotel we stayed in while we traveled in Spain. It’s very centrally locates. Close to lots of great sites, and lots of shopping. I think it’s super safe too. I walked around alone at night and didn’t feel scared
The hotel itself is alright. The location is super because it's right in the middle of the city center. My only comment is the knowledge and capabilities of the staff. It often happens that I have questions for the front desk staff and they either don't know, don't want to answer or are not even able to express themselves properly in English.

A lovely hotel. The reception staff were very helpful and pleasant.
Our Executive room was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The coffee machine was awful.
I was extremely surprised that there was no iron in the room and that they were unable to supply one.
I like how the hotel had some historical designs. You can see its a bits of these touches around the hotel. Rooms were pretty comfy. Service was ok. When we arrived we dined at the restaurant and the food was great.
We were very pleased with our stay here. Staff were helpful, attentive, and professional. Very comfortable. Rooms are a good size, and the bed was excellent, providing a good night's sleep.
Only taken a star off for location as just a little outside centre, but not really a problem, just a 5 minute walk across the river.
Good place to stay. The hotel is close to the city centre and it's definitely walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Our room was perfectly fine although all in all I have to say that it's definitely not the most modern hotel, it's a bit old and could benefit from an update. Nonetheless, a good place to stay.
The hotel room was clean and serviced every day. The bathroom was spotless. Even though I requested 2 single beds, the bed was so big and comfortable that I didn't mind it. The only criticism I have is that there are some details that show that the hotel is over 30 years old and needs touches of renovation here and there, but other than that I would happily stay here again.
This is more like a 3.5 star Hotel. Building is nice from outside and very plain inside. Comfortable but outdated rooms. Seems a little run down but for a 50€ per night room is OK, it does have a very good restaurant and that was the highlight of the stay. Do not expect much but if the price is right stay.

We had a lovely stay at this fine hotel. The room was large and well-appointed with an amazing view. Breakfast was amazing. Staff was courteous and attentive. Amazing value - we would stay here again without hesitation!
elegant stay with stunning rooftop views
From the moment I arrived at the Barceló Granada Congress, I was impressed by the professionalism and promptness of the staff. Their attention to detail made the check-in process seamless and set a positive tone for my stay.

Loved this hotel. Room was very quiet with a nice view and a comfortable king size bed. Excellent breakfast especially the made to order egg station service. Great staff and nice location if you are coming to Granada with a car. Hotel parking was a plus with ample of large parking spaces. Food and service at the bar were very good too. The gentleman at the check-in was very helpful and spoke English...
Hotel is starting to show its age although the rooms are comfortable. breakfast was very good but if you are booking to enjoy the pool and hot tub you have to pay $22 euros an hour. It doesn’t say that when booking and we were very disappointed since that is why we booked here. Pay parking of 20 euros a day.
Definitely not a luxury hotel.
Overall, everything was great. The breakfast was excellent, the location was just 15 minutes from the city center, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The only area for improvement is the rooms, which could benefit from some renovation. Other than that, everything was perfect.

NO AIR CONDITIONING !!! Expect this based on our experience and multiple previous reviews. When I called 9 for the front desk his sharp refusal “heating only!” attitude told me that this wasn’t something they were going to fix. In late October this was okay as we opened the window and it was a pleasant temperature. In summer this place would be hell so probably AVOID IN SUMMER. Our tour group meal...
I stayed here for four nights with my family during last summer’s vacation, and it was a fairly pleasant experience. The hotel was quite clean, tidy, and reasonably luxurious. It has an underground parking garage, which costs €14.50 per day. However, I was very disappointed with the breakfast, which also cost €14.50. There were few options, and the food was often left out for too long. Additionally...
Couldn't recommend this hotel any more. Value for money absolutely perfect. Swimming pool busy but very clean and well maintained. Rooms lovely and cold. A little bit out of Granada but only fifteen mins on the bus directly outside the hotel. Ate once in the evening and not bad.
Staff very welcoming. Thank you so much real Alhambra x
The hotel staff did an amazing job hosting all our wedding guests. They were incredibly accommodating, providing excellent service with a friendly and welcoming attitude. Every need was met with professionalism and care. We’re so grateful for their hospitality and would highly recommend them to anyone planning a special event.
We really enjoyed our stay here.. comfortable and clean rooms, both front desk and bar staff are extremely courteous and helpful.
I had stayed here recently (September 2021). Although the general staff members are very cordial and helping, the barman in the bar and a few helpers the cafe seemed very rigid. The food needs to be upto the mark, was really disappointed with the breakfast menu. No one seemed to care to re-stack the foods that were over. The fruits did not look appealing. Hotel rooms nice and clean, staff and management will do their utmost to ensure any issues are resolved to your satisfaction
Booked a room with a terrace, which gave an amazing view over the whole of Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains. Hotel staff were very friendly and helped organise our days out. Very close location to the Alhambra, within around 1 minute walking distance. Also the C3 bus was very close to the hotel and travelled to the centre of Granada, and made travel easy, although it only ran till 11pm.
Excellent hotel! The location was perfect for access to Alhambra and an easy walk to bus stops or into the city. Our room was beautiful, and the staff was very helpful.
Right next to Alhambra, you can enjoy it until it is closed. Breakfast is served from 7:00. But, it could start earlier. From here to city center, take C2 bus; from city center to here, take C4. It costs 1.4 euros. Without taking a bus, it could be a long walk over uphill from city center. It is quite good a place accessible to Alhambra. But, it is a little far from the city center without a bus. Bus...
A very beautifully decorated 4 star hotel very near the Alhambra with great views. Well communicated with the town centre. Bus stops and taxi rank nearby. Outdoor parking with security guard. Only a ten-minute walk to the city centre. Rooms are spacious and reasonably priced. Good restaurant, service is reasonably quick and prices are what you would expect from a 4-star hotel.

Great hotel in the center of Granada!! It is walking distance from all major sightseeings, bars and restaurants. Rooms are spacious, in excellent conditions and have great views. Special shout-out to 360° views in the terrace on the 8th floor and buffet-type breakfast of the highest quality. Very recommended!
I visited the hotel for a work meeting and while I could not say much about rooms, linen or restaurant food, I can attest to the kindness, helpfulness and attention of the staff, the prompt assistance received when requested and the tidy and elegant aspect of the hotel. The wi fi was weak. Only good for e-mails, but any whats app or telegram calls - it didn't work. I mean video or even audio calls. So all 4 nights I almost couldn't use wi fi! The rooms were spacious and clean. What I was disappointed with was that there was no self-serve coffee / tea available in the room nor even a complimentary bottle of water as we had had at all the other four star hotels we'd stayed at in Spain.
Staff were friendly and provided good service- more staff needed during the morning for check out services.
Breakfast was decent. Location was okay.
The hotel is amazing, clean, and gives you a feel of being a five-star hotel. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need and you can ask for any additional amenities.
Cons: it's a 10 minute walk to the center, near all the action, so make sure your wearing comfortable shoes. The parking is a bit narrow and expensive and you have to pay for room service.
Otherwise it's a magnificent hotel
Awesome hotel in a great location. Rooms very nice and great amenities provided which you don’t see often. Car Park is only downside as it’s tiny and if you have a big car don’t enter. There is a newer car park not far away near the shopping centre which is easy and quite cheap too.
Very beautiful. But the room with the terrace is very small. Otherwise, everything was worth 5 stars. The location is also decent, 15 minutes to the Granada Cathedral. The staff is excellent.
Staff is very helpful. Carmen in the reception was great. The rooms are very clean , everything smells nice and one could sleep peacefully at nights but it needs a few upgrades like the very old fridge that we used to keep our bottle of waters cool.
We stayed here while visiting Alhambra. It is very convenient from the train station. We could walk within 15 minutes. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good. The location is about a 15 - 20-minute walk to the old town. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel entrance. We had purchased a package that included 9 bus rides per person. Great location, nice view from the hotel windows. Near the railway station, attractions within a 30-minute walk. The hotel is still outdated, but for me it is absolutely not important, therefore, I put 5 stars
Excellent location, clean "modern" rooms and good price. However, we stayed there in November at it was still warm, so we tried to turn on the air conditioning and it was completely useless; we couldn't sleep. We ended up opening all the windows (so we had noise coming from the outside) in order to be able to sleep. My concern is that if this happened to us in November when it's usually chilly... what...
The hotel is well located: very close to the train station and some bus/metro stops. The staff are friendly. The room is very clean and has a really nice view and a balcony. Although the hotel seems aged but the lobby is modern and the room is well facilitated.
But the wifi is pretty poor, my iPhone can’t even find it in my room.
Generally, it would be nice to stay here again.
The hotel was perfectly located very closely to the train station and within walkable distances to most of the sites including the Alhambra. The room was moderately spacious and clean. The furniture, bedding and room amenities were pretty basic quality ones though. The hotel lobby was clean and tidy. The staff at the reception desk were welcoming and attentive.
Great hotel, friendly staff, even had an admin who spoke Russian, which pleased. The room is clean, cool, bath and soap-rylnye accessories, white towels, bed sheets clean. Reception (Maria Jesus) is NOT doing a good job. I saw how she treated other clients => that s aggressive and unprofessional.
Same with me. I also think they can improve in small details but which has big impact on a client: check what client chose on booking.com bed-wise and give exactly that. In my case the bed I wanted was available (and finally I got it), but was not given me by default, I had...

Not a bad choice but not exactly up to the rate. Good location but a bit noisy. Rooms are old. We found it just too expensive for what it was.
In a historic building though the original interior was removed and totally reconstructed. Room is standard. Good location and friendly staff. But soundproofing is really poor. I had a room on second floor facing the street. Can’t get asleep on a weekend evening with all the drunkies on the street…
Lovely hotel! We had some train issues and had to leave early, but enjoyed our time here - the room was nice and clean, both in the design and actual cleanliness of the place.
This is a fun location to stay in - great food all around and a short(ish) walk to the Alhambra.
Delightful boutique hotel right in centre of Granada old city. Lovely room and modern chic decor. It would get five stars but for the fact it's right next to night club and made it impossible sleep on a Friday night.

This is a beautiful spa hotel in the centre of Granada. The rooms were big and well appointed. The spa was really nice with different pools, sauna, steam room. Nice, fresh breakfast. Will definitely be going back. There’s a lift for cars to the car park !

The staff is amazing and the most helpful. All the staff went out of their way to help us in all ways possible. The rooms were amazing and the spa is incredible. They were very kind to our 7 year old twins and made them feel very welcome and special. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
This is a beautiful hotel and the staff are super friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was brilliant.
We ate in the restaurant one night and found it excellent. The spa is small but we used it twice and really enjoyed it. Our only negative comment was about the breakfast - compared to other "Hospes" hotels where we have stayed what was offered here was very limited.
Great location and hotel with wonderful character. Clean and well maintained - a beautiful historical hotel. The breakfast is very good and such a pleasurable way to start the day. All of the staff that we interacted with from checkin, to cleaning, to restaurant were friendly, professional, and efficient. Thank you Juan and team for adding to such a pleasant visit to Granada.
The experience in this hotel EXCEEDED our expectations! The service was BEYOND excellent! The welcoming service by Sonia made us feel right at home. Juan was also extremely helpful with his guidance and recommendations. 5 Star experience all the way!
Thank you so much.
