My second stay at this hotel and it was very lovely. The staff are friendly and very welcoming. The hotel is located in a central location, very close to shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars, all within a short walking distance. Hotel is clean and has everything I needed. My room was cleaned daily, which I loved! My second trip to Granada was made enjoyable again with having a lovely hotel to stay in. The hotel has a roof top terrace which is gorgeous to go up to and take some really nice photos. The restaurant in the hotel is also really lovely and prices are affordable. Breakfast is extra but worth it, always plenty of choice and food was warm. Thank you guys for a pleasant stay once again and I hope to visit again soon. 👍❤️

Good location and room. Lovely cleaning personal but the reception not that much. They did not believe our toilet was broken. We had to come down before they fixed it outside of that the hotel was good but a bit strange.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Puerta de las Granadas. A chic and very comfortable hotel that has a staff that is curteous, professional, and determined to provide the best service. Rates are very competitive. It is ideally located; a short distance from the top attractions in Granada: the Alhambra and the Cathedral. (Short walking distrance from both). Very up to date in facilities, decor, and condition; a lovely place. The breakfast option is worth taking advantage of and the the quaint, on-site resturant offers quality dinners. We hope to return to Granada and there is no doubt where we will be staying.

Boutique Hotel Puerta de las Granadas stands out for its central location in the old, historic part of the city. What really makes it special, though, is that it’s not a soulless, corporate block where every room and corridor look the same. The hotel makes the most of its historic setting by giving each room its own personality.
We stayed in a room with a small balcony overlooking the street, while other rooms face the courtyard—and from the top floor, you can even see the Alhambra. The hotel also sets itself apart with an on-site café, restaurant, breakfast buffet room, gym, and library. The reception and breakfast staff were very welcoming.
It took me a few seconds to figure out how to use the shower—there are instructions on the glass door—but once I did, it was fantastic. The Japanese-style toilet is a unique feature in Europe and a nice surprise.

A good clean and modern hotel, with a restaurant on the ground floor and terrace. It is very close to the Alhambra (being on the road to it) and is situated with many restaurants around it.
We found the rooms a little small - we booked a triple room for two of us and a baby and there was only just enough storage space for a few days worth of clothes. The shower was also in the middle of the room, so wouldn't be appropriate for groups of friends travelling together. We had a view of a wall, but at least that meant the room was quiet. It was a good room to sleep in, but not somewhere that you'd necessarily want to spend much time otherwise.
We had problems with the restaurant upstairs, which spoiled our stay a bit. We asked at reception one evening if the restaurant on the terrace was still open and were told it was, so we made our way up there only to be told it was closed and they were only serving food downstairs. Because of this, we booked at reception to have lunch on the terrace the following day, but the next day we turned up to find out the booking had been made for the wrong number of guests.
Check-in and check-out were both very easy, and staff speak English as well as Spanish. The breakfast seemed very expensive (€12 each), nearby cafes will do good quality coffee and toast for €3 each.

Parking and access are hard if you are arriving by car, but the staff did their best to help. The city is very walkable, so once parked, we did everything by foot and the location was perfect for that. Rooms were great and exceeded our expectations.

All was so comfortable and pleasant. It exceeded my expectations. Everything was very clean, and the staff was a 10. I stay in a lot of hotels, and this was one of those memorable places I would certainly recommend to family and friends. The terrace has beautiful views where I would take my coffee up and read in the early morning. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and one of the kitchen staff came out to explain everything his team prepared, making it feel extra special. The food was great, with lots of options. We also booked massages, and that was another amazing experience. We really appreciated our early check in!

The accommodations were exceptional, featuring an outstanding shower and a magnificent Alhambra view. The property was impeccably clean and centrally located. Furthermore, the staff were remarkably friendly, welcoming, informative, and efficient. We plan to return.

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Puerta de las Granada. The front desk employees were accommodating and helped me to prepare for my tours. They were also able to give me a late checkout.
The hotel itself was modern and had many areas such as the 2nd floor patio and rooftop to relax and take in the sights. My room had a terrace that had views of the Alhambra. I was pleasantly surprised by the location.
I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel for your next stay.

The staff that checked me was very understanding and professional. My room and the bathroom were very small. I was offered a larger room just for one day. I did not accept the offer because it did not solve the problem. In essence everything about the room cried for help. The bathroom was so small that you don’t even have space to turn around after you have entered. It took more than thirty minutes to get the cold water to be heated up. I came to see the Alhambra tour for two days. The Alhambra tour caused shortage of hotel accommodations. Everything was sold out making a mediocrity hotel renting at a high rate. If the complaint was just about the room, I would not have focused on it as much. I also included breakfast with the accommodations. Everything about the breakfast was awful except for the poached eggs. I have not seen pineapple being cubed with the skin on. It looked dirty and on washed.
By the way, I observed that there is no wheelchair access but to get through one has to go through the Resturant. I felt for this man on wheelchair and wife struggling to help him get through. The hotel receptionist watched but did not help them. I noticed that when the restaurant is closed and you are wheelchair bound, you are stocked. Before entering the hotel you had to go down the stairs. However, the next day they mounted wheelchair rail. My friend had their own issues. The area is very busy and lively.
