Super clean, centric and great value

I've wanted to stay for sometime. A very accommodating hostal with clean rooms and a lovely set of staff. Sure the rooms are noisy but what do you expect when staying in a city and a great value for money. Highly recommended.

Great place to stay. The owner is very forthcoming and friendly. Waking up and going downstairs for a coffee or breakfast is very efficient. Overnight stay and breakfast is affordable on a low budget.

Small, but cozy room with a bathroom. Very near bus stop and not far away from the center. Wi-fi, clean, easy to communicate. Booked with Booking.

Friendly and accommodating toward my need for flexibility during my stay. Booked 2w stayed 4w. Single room while small is perfect and probably the best value for money since I was only there to shower and sleep. Wifi was very reliable. Plenty of cafe/bars and places to eat at better than 'in town' tourist prices. Big shout out to Mezopotamya Donor Kebap shop for excellent pizza and kebaps...

Good value for the money, clean and very nice staff. When I got sick they fixed it so I could stay in my room one more night just hours before checkout. You have a key so you won’t see them exempt check in. Would stay again

We received such a friendly welcome from Amanda, who made us feel at home. Our room was clean, bed and pillows super comfortable, spotless shower room with nice products and despite being on a main road was quiet at night with a great sea view. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Easy walk to the beaches and promenade and into the old town. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everyone at Hotel Mar del Plata were very friendly and helpful. My room was very clean and very comfortable. And the breakfast buffet was very good with an excellent assortment of fresh fruit, bread, pastries, eggs, ham & cheese and other condiments. And my cafe con leche was always replenished! I highly recommend the hotel.

Great Location near the city centre. We had the economy room with large space and functional equipment. Opposite to the hotel is a private parking garage with affordable costs. Breakfast was delicious with great coffee freshly prepared. Nice and very committed staff!

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay. The location is great, right near the beach, taxi station just outside, and very close to bus stops that will take you throughout the city. The room was small but well laid-out and clean, toiletries were provided in the bathroom, and we had a view of the ocean as well as the Torre de Hércules in the distance! For the price you get a big clean room in the middle of old town, right where all the action is. Lots of bars and restaurants. I got a room facing away from the street and it was very quiet all night despite there being a busy nightlife. I doubt you'd be able to take a taxi to the door though as the street is extremely narrow. Staff speak various levels of English, but are incredibly helpful.

Great rooms, fully renovated, those on the top floor have wooden ceilings. Very central, actually too much, so much so that it is on the narrow tapas street itself, thus difficult to sleep before 3 am and wake up at 6 am with the street cleaning machines and the beer delivery trucks...

the room was perfect (one bed, small but enough space to sleep comfortably and a very nice shower!). staff was not particularly helpful (possibly because I only know basic Spanish and they don't speak English). don't go here for a hostel atmosphere. it's fine for a one-night stay but wouldn't recommend it for more than one day

Clean safe and incredibly cheap in the wintertime

A good welcome, this place is close to the bus station which made it great for coming from the airport on our first day and for getting to Ferrol the day after. Reasonable price, quiet and clean. Would have stayed on the way back but they were fully booked.

Restfull stay Good economic stay. Well placed for travelling with the train. Nice and friendly owners. Room size ok. Too bad there was no breakfast at the place, but there was a very close cafe that had good breakfast.

Affordable place to stay overnight. Not romantic, but okay to just stay overnight. Anyway there is so much to do in A Coruna that it does not matter if the hotel is not a palace as long as the room is clean, bed good and breakfast good, as it is here.

Awesome hotel not too far from the center and close to great breakfast joints if you don't want to eat at the hotel such as La Granera. Ok you may miss some things like TV in English or coffee in room facilities but it's just perfect. Quiet very friendly, we were on top floor, great view, SUPER bathroom, SUPER Wi-Fi and just lovely breakfast. Very reasonable costs....Well placed for the local sights, we walked everywhere although bus stops nearby. A great place to stay....

Nice hotel with perfect location

If you are looking for a centrally located hotel at a good price, it is not bad. At night on the weekend there is a cocktail bar next door and the noise is deafening. When we arrived we found an unpleasant detail in the room, they had not collected the previous client's trash. Otherwise, all good. The staff is very friendly at all times.

Quite good for a hotel with 2 stars, but....hair everywhere...in a bathroom, in a bed, towels are hairy too...this must be solved

Centrally located just a few meters from the old town and close to beaches this competitively priced hotel was ideal for a few nights in Galicia. Good transport options to local towns e g Santiago d C and Ferrol

Very small and slightly querky. Great for a few days, but too small for longer stays. Breakfast and restaurant were super. A very friendly and a nice place to stay. Free WiFi worked perfect for our group. Ear plugs maybe for light sleepers as very old building without noise isolation

Great stop in A Coruña for anyone walking the Camino!

Ideal for what we wanted. Very clean, cleaned and refreshed every day. Small but functional bath/shower and toilet. I would recommend this hostel if you just want a base as it is very central to the old city.

We had an 8th floor room. It was nice. The bathroom and shower were fantastic. The bedroom just needs a bit of TLC and modernising. Cream or white paint would be the icing on the cake. It is such a good location.

Good "vintage" hotel for a night or two Location is perfect. Rooms are a bit dated, but clean and good for a night or two. Price was also great for what you get. The truth is we were pleasantly surprised because the room was quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Cleanliness is absolute both in the room and in the rest of the hotel. A few days ago we spent the last night of the trip with friends and the truth is that the hostel exceeded our expectations. Great place for a weekend in A Coruña, clean, big room, great price and very nice staff. Bars and restaurants near by, 20 minutes walk to the city centre and near to every landmark in town. Would recommend it !

There's no restaurant, no food, warm drinks or snacks at all. The shower did not work well and the windows are not room-high as shown on some pictures. Location is good.

For the price (30e individual bed) not bad (better than an hostel). They provided a place for my motorcycle so that was nice. The room was a bit loud in the morning (next to the street). U need to pay 3€ for the breakfast but it's only a croissant with butter and jelly with coffee or juice. The more expensive rooms have a nice view to the bay, has to be nice

Cheap and cheerful. Rooms were basic but nice enough. Powerful shower. Walls were a bit thin, so you could hear other people. Staff were super friendly and location was good, next to the beach.

I can't answer for everybody, but surely I was received with one of those smiles that make one forget its place in the universe, and everything else was all of a sudden less relevant. The Hotel is clean and has a Perfect Location near the Beach and the City Center is acessable by foot. Some Parts of the Interieur is a Bit older but still functional. The only downside was that the breakfast was really underwelming.

Hotel has everything you need for short staying. It is located near the main beach, easy to go to both sides of the City. The best bonus - you can be lucky and get the room with the ocean view through the window. Very nice, helpful staff😀

I thought it was excellent because, among other things, both the owner and her daughter and other staff always gave me excellent treatment.

The room is fine, quite clean. The bathroom is small and in our case there was no handwashing, only toilet and shower. To spend a perfect night. The staff treated us very well.

Excellent. Aside from needing to check if many facilities are open during winter, everything else is great. The beach is right downstairs, and dining is very convenient.

It is a boutique hotel in La Corua, very clean, with beautiful views by the sea, and you can also walk around the nearby residential area, very safe! The bar service attitude is very good!

A spectacular hotel, with views and an enviable location. The staff is very attentive and kind. We had a small mishap in the room but they solved it immediately and very quickly. The rooms are spectacular, super clean and with very good details, the bed very comfortable. Without a doubt I recommend it 100%
