In the off-season, the choice of hotels in Colera is not great. We liked this one, even though it's rather expensive. Friendly welcome, spacious room with a huge terrace and sea view. Breakfast was simple but good. Also, having the restaurant on the ground floor is convenient, but I suppose that can be noisy at times.

The restaurant is in a good location! The waitress Janna is very good at her job, her service was excellent. Also, the food was good and the portion sizes were generous! Especially the Bailey’s tiramisu :)

Rated as a two star, except for the noise it would be three star, staff friendly and helpful. Very close to the sea and good parking around, quite area, only the inside of the hotel can be noisy (echos) very good breakfeast very clean hotel, enjoy.

I can't recommend La Goleta enough! We had a run of bad luck getting to the hotel but Paula saved the day by staying late to check us in. All of the staff were lovely and the breakfast was generous. We especially appreciated the gluten free bread/eggs/options etc. While the rooms weren't sound proofed (joys of older buildings) we were very comfortable.

Staff (young guy to be exact) was super helpfull - gave us bucket of ice to the beach, wine corkscrew opener. I was able to leave bike for whole day after check-out. Swimming pool was great. Rooms are super spacious although quite old-fashioned and some update would be nice. However, I appreciate the service more than some minor details.

Very well located. Pleasent treatment. Very old and excellent conservation... But, where is the limit of the old to consider it old? The disproportionate price for the services they offer. I will not repeat.

Hotel located in the center of town, we must highlight the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel as well as the staff. Breakfast is served on the terrace and it is a luxury to be able to have breakfast watching the views offered by the port. We will repeat for sure. If you want a stay and pleasant this is your place.

Great Location for Water Wind Sports

Lovely central location with the marina & beach on your doorstep! Modern clean functional hotel with small perfectly adequate rooms & a nice breakfast. Service was efficient & we’d gladly stay there again if revisiting this beautiful spot.

We visited El Port de la Selva in October 2022, after we had had to postpone our planned visit in September. It was our first visit to the city, and unfortunately it turned out that October was probably a little too late in the year. The hotel is great. Rooms are tidy and spacious. We were there off season so I would like to think that that was the reason why you had no access to massages or the SPA. Note that the SPA area (just a jacuzzi and sauna) are paid and you have to book. Definitely not worth it. The “puerto” is stunning and the hotel is very well located behind the main road but with easy access to the beach.

Overall good value for money. Unfortunately the restaurant staff gave us a bad experience the last day. Came down to the restaurant 10 min early and was scolded for getting a coffee. Then waitress stated I could not come for breakfast with my wife having eaten earlier a light breakfast myself. Very unnecessary treatment! 😒

I had a lovely stay here. Staff were pretty friendly, room was very clean and breakfast was simple but good. The jacuzzi in the room was more complicated to operate than I anticipated and seemed to malfunction. Overall a good spot and I’d stay again.

The staff are so friendly and obliging, it's a very good budget hotel. The skirting boards need a wipe and under the bed a sweep, but clean towels are available on demand and generally a good clean hotel as was our room. Really not far from the sea front.

Awesome experience at the Hotel Ciutadella! I was able to make a last minute reservation in July. I stayed in the annex. Great service, amazing breakfast buffet, room was spotless clean and comfy. Nice boutique hotel in the small town of Roses. In a residential area, the hotel is close to supermarket and the local market and there is a big parking right in front of it. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Carmen. The room was very clean and confortable. The location is perfect on a quiet street near the beaches and close to shops and restaurants. We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2024. The hotel is simple but very clean. The hotel staff is pleasant. The dinner buffet is good and varied. On the other hand, the breakfast juices are vile. We don't understand why, for this category of hotel, it can't offer better quality. Very good value for money.

We stayed in the bungalow apartment, and the kids in the connected annex. First, you should be aware that it's not actually connected, you need to go outside to get to the children room which is basically a bunk bed and bathroom with no A/C and no space at all. My wife and I spent a few days in early February in Cadaquès, beautiful unspoilt village in Catalunya. Hotel Rec de Palau is set in a superb location, overlooking the bay. The proprietor Angela was very friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and comfortable, the staff were also great.
