Staff (young guy to be exact) was super helpfull - gave us bucket of ice to the beach, wine corkscrew opener. I was able to leave bike for whole day after check-out. Swimming pool was great. Rooms are super spacious although quite old-fashioned and some update would be nice. However, I appreciate the service more than some minor details.

I can't recommend La Goleta enough! We had a run of bad luck getting to the hotel but Paula saved the day by staying late to check us in. All of the staff were lovely and the breakfast was generous. We especially appreciated the gluten free bread/eggs/options etc. While the rooms weren't sound proofed (joys of older buildings) we were very comfortable.

In the off-season, the choice of hotels in Colera is not great. We liked this one, even though it's rather expensive. Friendly welcome, spacious room with a huge terrace and sea view. Breakfast was simple but good. Also, having the restaurant on the ground floor is convenient, but I suppose that can be noisy at times.

The restaurant is in a good location! The waitress Janna is very good at her job, her service was excellent. Also, the food was good and the portion sizes were generous! Especially the Bailey’s tiramisu :)

Very well located. Pleasent treatment. Very old and excellent conservation... But, where is the limit of the old to consider it old? The disproportionate price for the services they offer. I will not repeat.

Hotel located in the center of town, we must highlight the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel as well as the staff. Breakfast is served on the terrace and it is a luxury to be able to have breakfast watching the views offered by the port. We will repeat for sure. If you want a stay and pleasant this is your place.

Great Location for Water Wind Sports

Lovely central location with the marina & beach on your doorstep! Modern clean functional hotel with small perfectly adequate rooms & a nice breakfast. Service was efficient & we’d gladly stay there again if revisiting this beautiful spot.

We visited El Port de la Selva in October 2022, after we had had to postpone our planned visit in September. It was our first visit to the city, and unfortunately it turned out that October was probably a little too late in the year. For example, it was difficult to find open restaurants as most seemed to be closed after the season. But it also means that the city was extremely quiet and calm; and...

The hotel is great. Rooms are tidy and spacious. We were there off season so I would like to think that that was the reason why you had no access to massages or the SPA. Note that the SPA area (just a jacuzzi and sauna) are paid and you have to book. Definitely not worth it. The “puerto” is stunning and the hotel is very well located behind the main road but with easy access to the beach.

Overall good value for money. Unfortunately the restaurant staff gave us a bad experience the last day. Came down to the restaurant 10 min early and was scolded for getting a coffee. Then waitress stated I could not come for breakfast with my wife having eaten earlier a light breakfast myself. Very unnecessary treatment! 😒

Awesome experience at the Hotel Ciutadella! I was able to make a last minute reservation in July. I stayed in the annex. Great service, amazing breakfast buffet, room was spotless clean and comfy. Very friendly check-in. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the citadel and close to the sea. I had a nice, colourful and comfortable room. Breakfast was chaotic because there was a large group of French pensioners.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of June 2024. The hotel is simple but very clean. The hotel staff is pleasant. The dinner buffet is good and varied. Lovely place to enjoy a nice time with friends while having lunch/dinner. We had the lunch menu deal for €11. We tried calamari and swordfish, they were both very fresh and tasty.

Location is small and hearty right near the beach. The food is delicious and the prices are absolutely fair. We stayed twice this week (July 2019) and will gladly come again. The service is super nice, multilingual and fully responsive to the wishes of the guests. If it has many guests, everything takes too long and you will forget something. Try it anyway.

Outstanding Catalan Food! The food was always great and very rich. In the high season the catering was quite chaotic, but the food and the lovely Chrf more than made up for it. Therefore one of my few recommendations for the culinary offer in Empuria.

The aircondition at the rooms work miracles - just don't forget to turn it on or the spanish summer heat...

Perfect if you got pets, 10min by car to beach or center, 5min to grocery stores. The hotel is simple, not fancy, but good.

Very nice place (for Empuriabrava). Pictures look amazing, place looks good too. Nice clean pool, clean rooms, breakfast is ok, Wifi is a bit slow, parking is huge, so there is always a free parking space. If you are in Empuria for Skydiving or Tunnel flying, this place is walking distance!
