Wonderful culinary experience Apart from the gorgeous view, we had just the very best taste of a great chef! Everything is home made with fresh food. Fish directly from the sea in front of us, lam from the neighbouring villages and wine recommendation perfectly fitting with our dishes. The owner, a very very charming lady, just over 80 years old, stared her love for good food and service with passion...

Ugly architecture but magnificent location and views. Insides look bland. Service in the restaurant is ok-ish.

It's a great place for stay in holidays. You can be relaxed and the beach is in 20 seconds of the hotel.

Excellent stay. Unbeatable value for money! The boss and the boss are very nice. The hotel is clean, the rooms are being completely renovated. Really I advise. In addition, some of the staff speak French, which is appreciable when you have never done Spanish during your studies ... It is a very nice hotel.

Staff (young guy to be exact) was super helpfull - gave us bucket of ice to the beach, wine corkscrew opener. I was able to leave bike for whole day after check-out. Swimming pool was great. Rooms are super spacious although quite old-fashioned and some update would be nice. However, I appreciate the service more than some minor details.

It is a good place for a two star hotel. So, you get what you expected: a clean, friendly staff and decent facilities. So, for the price, you have a good room, decent maitress, a good toilette, all with a Spartan and simple decoration. Good breakfast, also for a very affordable price. So, for a two star hotel, is perfectly ok!

Room was ok but very small, tired bathroom.Comfy bed. Air conditioning switched off during the night so difficult to sleep through. Very nice rooftop terrace but impossible to use during the day as too hot and no shade and at night not enough light to be able to sit out comfortably. Free parking nearby, 15 min walk to nearest beach. Friendly staff in reception

Very nice location and service. Rooms are clean, modern and tastefully decorated. A/C and hair dryer provided. WiFi could work better and a fridge in the room would be useful.

I can't recommend La Goleta enough! We had a run of bad luck getting to the hotel but Paula saved the day by staying late to check us in. All of the staff were lovely and the breakfast was generous. We especially appreciated the gluten free bread/eggs/options etc. While the rooms weren't sound proofed (joys of older buildings) we were very comfortable.

It's a quaint B&B close to a port. The hotel itself and the rooms are very tastefully decorated. The breakfast was also quite good especially due to the fact that they serve eggs. However they have very limited parking (only 4 spaces) but they don't really mention it in their reservation page. There is free parking next to the port and it's not too far. However I am not a fan of lugging my luggage...

Cutest little charming hotel. Location is amazing, breakfast is great. The bed was pretty firm and there isn’t great noise insulation so bring earplugs.

Unique little hotel with decent sized, clean room and well equipped bathroom. The breakfast selection was surprisingly good. The lady at the reception had a bad cold and was rather unfriendly. As beautiful as the old room doors look, they are unsuitable. They hardly insulate acoustically and are very loud when opening and closing. You can hear every guest coming and leaving. Superb setting. Beautifuuly constructed and developed from private dwelling. Large rooms. Breakfast on roof terrace worth getting up for. Friendly staff. We loved every minute of our stay.

We have been 5 days. For us it has been a success of choice. It is a small family hotel (few rooms), adaptation-remodeling of a private house. THE RECEPTION AND BREAKFAST SERVICE is excellent, magnificent attitude: total availability and unbeatable friendliness (despite how poorly paid people in the hotel sector tend to be at this time in Spain). Breakfast: in addition to the usual, fruit is appreciated...

Very well located. Pleasent treatment. Very old and excellent conservation... But, where is the limit of the old to consider it old? The disproportionate price for the services they offer. I will not repeat.

Hotel located in the center of town, we must highlight the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the hotel as well as the staff. Breakfast is served on the terrace and it is a luxury to be able to have breakfast watching the views offered by the port. We will repeat for sure. If you want a stay and pleasant this is your place.

Beautiful area. Unfortunately, there's no exploring allowed. You can't even park on the side of the road to take pictures! The area is heavily patrolled by local police.

After we visited Salvador Dali's house, we took a diversion to drive to enjoy the Cap de Creus National Park - it was a well worthwhile diversion. The long, winding drive out to Cap de Creus offers amazing scenic views and ample opportunity to pull over to the side of the road to take pictures. There were other people around which made the visit that much more enjoyable - the variety of plant life...

Cal Mariner brings together all, (when I say all I mean there is none missing!) the conditions to spend a quiet, good... magnificent holiday in Port de la Selva. The rooms lack nothing. We were at the Taballera, which has a terrace facing the sea, with magnificent views. Clean rooms with good mattresses to rest well. Privileged views of the port, we have been to the restaurant a lot and despite being hosted and with free tables we were told that there was no place...

Excellent service and very efficient and friendly staff. We got a room overlooking the beach and it had a small but very nice terrace. Restaurant in the same hotel that we did not try but that looked great. Highly recommended and also excellent value for money

Correct rooms without major luxuries. Spacious bathroom. Proper cleaning. A good option to stay a day or two. The mattress sagged a bit and the bed was made up of two singles pushed together. It has air conditioner. The biggest downside is the noise, you can hear a lot from the adjoining room.

This hotel is an outbuilding of the Porto Christo hotel where you have the gargantuan but much less luxurious breakfast. The rooms are small but comfortable it is very clean the problem is the water pipes as soon as you turn on the tap it makes a terrible noise throughout the hotel day and night... There is a valet parking service paid but convenient parking can be complicated unless you like to walk

Two star hotel in the center of El Port de la Selva. For check in you have to to Hotel Porto Cristo just opposite. I had a nice room with no outside windows (only windows on the inside). Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Tv, airco and good Wi-Fi. The building is not well isolated, you can here what's going on in the room next to yours. There is a kitchen on the grond floor (sadly with a not working...

Very nice hotel. Big rooms with jacuzzi and small baconies. The breakfast was good - better than continental.

Huge rooms! Friendly service and great location. I gave only 4 stars because of the poor breakfast quality, so best eat out if staying there.
