Perfect spot for a weekend getaway. Good food, very pleasant dining space and terrace. Rooms are quite outdated but when you get to have the view, you forget rapidly about it! We will go again for sure.

Superb location - right on the beach passeig. Food is excellent and their own products (definitely buy some “B” olive oil) adds an extra dimension and freshness to everything. We loved everything! (Of course the chocolate truffles were to die for!!)

Mas Ribas is a warming and magical place. I loved it. Its owners, Marta and Ignasi, were very welcoming and helpful. Amazing place to stay in Palamos. You can get walking to the gorgeous beach La Fosca. The house is beautiful and everything is so clean. Marta and Ignasi are super cool hosts and you will enjoy their healthy and tasty breakfasts. I strongly recommend it!

We stayed here for four nights in the bay of La Fosca, just around the corner from Palamós. The hotel itself is a little dated, and the rooms can be quite noisy — we could clearly hear the TV from one side and bath activity from the other. Great location, 10 minute walk to the beach. The rooms are sparse and there is no AC (which is a deal breaker for the peak of summer), but you can cool off in the pool or the patio. Free parking is a great benefit. A solid 3 star hotel that is family owned. Excellent overall experience, despite minor drawbacks.

(the property is not right on the water). The room decor is a bit dated, but super clean, and a very good deal for the reasonable price. A basic slightly dated hotel that really delivers on service and quality of food. We stayed here only one night but were really impressed by the helpfulness and friendly hotel staff, and the dinner and breakfast we were served. It’s a 3* hotel but the service and food is 5*. A comfortable hotel situated three streets back from the beach. The staff were very friendly and they provide free towels for the beach and for their small outdoor pool. We didn't have much of a view from our balcony but this was more than made up for by the incredible spread at breakfast - it was fantastic and delicious.

This is a family run hotel with an excellent restaurant and attentive service . A reasonable priced wine list and delicious menu of the day proved to be excellent value . Breakfast dishes were top quality and the room was clean and comfortable. A pity the tennis court is in such poor condition.

I don't normally leave reviews, but had to rave about our experience at La Bionda. We had such an amazing time exploring Costa Brava and staying here. Carla was the best host and made our stay fantastic. The hotel aesthetic is lovely, and the breakfast was amazing. We can't wait to visit again! I would highly recommend it!

The couple who run it are very nice and attentive. We had the largest room that has the wall of the tower, and the bathroom is very spacious. Very clean, comfortable, modern and a very complete breakfast, with homemade products. We have been in November and we did not enjoy the pool, but in summer it must be great!

Small hotel with a lot of charm. The rooms have direct access to the garden and pool area. Tastefully decorated and in the center of Begur. Very rich breakfast (natural orange juice and eggs prepared at the moment, homemade pastries and sausages). Sadly, the power blackout in Spain, meant that we could only spend one night in this glorious boutique hotel. What a lovely experience in our charming room with a private terrace. We loved this charming boutique hotel in Begur where we stayed 3 nights. It is so conveniently located yet super quiet. Our room was a nice size and even had a little patio with a sitting area. The bed was very comfortable, breakfast wonderful and staff so friendly and helpful. It couldn’t have been better! They have shuttle to beaches abs towns also. We will be back here!

Gem in Begur city center Victor offered the best service and the property is so centrally located. Loved being a block away from all the action but still quiet and calm. The breakfast was delicious and I so appreciated all of Victor’s lovely local tips and efforts to go above and beyond - suggesting hiking routes, coordinating local taxis, etc. A hotel not to be missed!

This place is trying hard to be quaint and charming and chic, and mostly succeeds. It has perhaps seen better days however. It requires some tender loving care. The rooms could do with repainting, the shower recess should be tiled, the floors redone (regrouted) and sealed again so they can be properly cleaned...etc. I can't however see an easy solution to the problem of the bedroom doors - very noisy...

A quirky, beautiful hotel in the middle of Begur. We booked a room with a terrace which had no shade in the afternoon. We asked Maria and Vincent if we could have a sun umbrella but the manager refused to supply one. As we were there for seven days and temperatures were up to 40 degrees we were then unable to use it. We were shown to the downstairs inside breakfast room as an alternative!

Perfectly lovely hotel. Situated in an old house in the old quarter of town it was full of charm with stone floors, high ceilings and we could hear the church bells chime the hour and a cellar where breakfast is served. Beds were so comfortable with simple modern ensuite. Breakfast was light and offered artesan cheese, meats, membrillo etc. Great for a short stay.

This hotel is very special in an old Catalan farmhouse. A truly luxurious experience - really loved it. The staff were super nice and there were loads of free parking options around which seems quite rare on the Costa brava. It’s also a convenient walk into the city, and loads of beaches a short drive away

Hotel was lovely home. Lovely restaurant. It is not on the beach like the image implies. But the people and property were very lovely. It is old, but beautiful!

The place is located very nice and the food is good. The prices are relative high compared to other restaurants in the area. This isn’t compensated by good service from the staff unfortunately. The atmosphere is very stressed which has an impact on the guests as well. Nobody was smiling and most of them looked annoyed just like me.

Paella was delicious and the location is sublime. The Sa Tuna cove is super romantic and quiet at night.

The place was great! We arrived a bit late but notified them and they were very understanding. The people running the place are super friendly, all of them. The room was spacious, with a nice shower/bathtub, very comfy bed, big wardrobe with a safe inside, a mini fridge (super convenient for hot summer days) and the mojitos they prepare are amazing. Location very beautiful in an isolated valley with stunning sea view. The food is very good, the personnel is incredibly friendly, especially the receptionist/manager who is absolutely a special person. Recommended, ideal also to go and visit Begur.

We spent 9 nights at this lovely little hotel in September 2025. We have stayed a few times before and will return again next summer. The rooms are lovely, large and spotlessly clean, nicely decorated with a modern bathroom with powerful shower,the air conditioning is perfect and the rooms are quiet with really good double glazing to keep the rooms peaceful. The property was well placed to the port area and other parts of palamos. The breakfast was good with a lot of choice and the room and shower was good.

Good hotel and an even better restaurant

We lived our 4 night stay here. The staff were friendly, the hotel very clean and breakfast was yummy. We really relaxed and found the hotel quiet but still close enough to the beach and town. We hired a car and parking can be difficult to find, especially in July when we travelled.
