Great location and a beautiful setting. I've stayed here twice and beyond the great location and view, there isn't much to love sadly. The hotel is incredibly noisy at night and our AC unit produced a nasty egg smell. The front desk couldn't help much - "we're fully booked" with a shrug of the shoulders. Needs some serious updating

Cosy hotel at a very nice place. When you want relax this hotel is a good idea. We were there in low season. The staff at the reception desk and at the bar was very friendly and always helpful. Our room was clean and we had a nice view. Breakfast was not bad, could be more fresh vegetables offered. Gluten Free options available with a small choice of sweats and bread! Very nice! Wireless internet connection...

Service is amazing, location is superb but the bed is rock-hard and really hard to sleep on. And the warm covers smell nasty, like they have been in drawer for years already without cleaning. Also I would not recommend eating at the hotel-own restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and cannot compare with the great restaurants nearby at the beach.

Lovely hotel with fab views over the small bay of Tamariu. Lovely staff. Unfortunately some of the rooms (1st floor) are under a very big terrace and the soundproofing is extremely bad to the extent that all the noise from people pulling chairs, walking, running can be heard until late at night. In these rooms it is impossible to relax during the day or fall asleep early. This is in stark contrast...

Friendly staff. Amazing views from rooms with sea view. Perfect location. Comfortable beds. Good room size. On the downside there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room and the hotel doesn't offer room service. But other than that great!

Lovely receptionist Anna, really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Wonderful location for coastal walking.

Excellent hotel with spacious room and just 2 steps from the beach. Very friendly staff. Loses one star for us because the resto food was only average for our visit with a dining room full of yelling children from the usual suspects.

Quality hotel on the edge of the beach. All luxuries including climate control.The restaurant is excellent offering gourmet food and with an extensive wine menu. The Staff and Management are very helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back to this undiscovered gem. Gilbert Long

My family and I have just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 days in Tamariu. The apartment was very well appointed and clean. Although we ate out most evenings the kitchen facilities were excellent. The bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of wardrobe space and a very good pedestal fan. The main living area, although small, was just big enough for 4 persons. It also had air conditioning...

Although without ocean views, the apartment has lots of light, it is spacious, it is very well equipped and most important, truly clean

A simple hotel, with a very good location, excellent service. Good price. Undoubtedly recommended, what they offer is what they give you.

A simple hotel but where we have been very, very good. The treatment of the owners great because they are charming. There is no elevator, but the location makes up for it. Recommended to spend a few quiet days.

Even it is located in the town, the outside noises were not perceived (windows isolation). Air conditioner: Generally I can not sleep with it, but this time was silent and easy regulation for a nice temperature.

Nice simple hotel, owner is very kind and eager to make some very good tortilla for us in the morning. The hot tub on the roof at sundown was the ultimate relaxing experience after long Day of walking. Bit pricy for the size of the room though.

Found this hotel by chance when visiting nearby. Exceptionally clean, nicely decorated and of a high standard. We stayed for two nights in October and the hotel was quiet. Gorgeous and charming little boutique hotel with stunning views in Llfranc. Can't say anything negative about it. Rooms were beautiful...very tastefully decorated. The staff were exceptional. Breakfast was great. Bed was very comfortable and the toiletries luxurious!!

Great experience combining quality, taste, rooms are charming, we stayed at room #15 with sea view. Breakfast is good, and CoVid measures applied. We also had dinner, they serve a reduced menu but fairly good given curfew. Owners are present so all details are considered.

Truly great experience staying at Blaumar! The staff is very kind and considerate, the rooms have spectacular views, pristine clean and well taken care of rooms and hotel grounds - plus the best part: the infinity pool! Highly recommend staying here!

Greatly situated. The whole staff was friendly, quick, and gave me a feeling of being welcome. The hotel is clean and quiet. Upon the beach, centrally in Llafranc, with everything on walking distance. I recommend this hotel when you visit Llafranc.

Very week located with a nice restaurant, however, one lady at the reception started shouting at my son and his friends like mad because they were “taking too long to get their things from a storage room” and ended up in her throwing them out of the hotel at the time while shouting and causing a big scene. Aside from that not too bad.

Simply perfect. Great service, great breakfast, great place. I even got an unrequested upgrade. Would repeat every time.

The location is wonderful, lovely looking over the square with a balcony. Super clean. The breakfast was great. Lots of fruit, lovely bread, hams and pastries. Good staff.

Great hotel. Bedrooms looking old fashioned and tired but exceptionally clean! Food great and the Saturday night party was fantastic! A carlsberg night out!!

What a place to stay, right on the beach with a full view from my room. The staff couldn't have been more attentive. Recommend Llafranch and this hotel.

Other folk had highly rated the breakfast here and they were right! Especially good coffee and scrambled eggs. Great location right on the beach and a lovely helpful greeting and orientation from the young women who checked us in. Liked the free beach towels too?

Fabulous tapas meals - don't miss the ceviche! And... gin & tonics with GinMare are a particular favourite!

Lovely food, tapas dishes with a modern twist are particularly good. Just a little on the expensive side but then it's a very beautiful hotel with an ultra modern decor.

The hotel largely exceeded my already high expectations. The staff and the scenery were the most memorable points for me. We will come back for sure.

Geat location, with some of the best views in Costa Brava. Food quality is good, service is attentive but it is quite overpriced for what it offers.

We went to Restaurant El Far for Garoinada festival and it was a great experience. We didnt stay at the hotel so I cant comment on that but the restaurant is great. Make reservations well in advance and ensure to request for terrace seating as you are then overlooking the sea. The view is beautiful and the food is great! The service is okay but they can be a little slow sometimes and dont take customizations...

We had a fantastic experience at the Restaurante Casamar! Absolutely delicious and sublime menu, perfect and attentive staff! We have spent a perfect lunch with our kids. Enhorabuena y muchísimas gracias!

The best is the staff. The rooms are comfortable. The breakfast could be improved and it is too focused on French customers. I don’t think customers should pay more for two fried eggs and bacon for example. Other than that, I would recommend it

Think maybe we've been to Casamar 50 times, what more can I say, best hotel in Spain, as far as I'm concerned.

This is probably one of the best places to dine in llafranc. Welcoming, knowledgeable, and excellent food and service. Great ambience. I had fillet. Cooked to perfection. Desert to die for. Good wine. A must visit.
