Great location and a beautiful setting. I've stayed here twice and beyond the great location and view, there isn't much to love sadly. The hotel is incredibly noisy at night and our AC unit produced a nasty egg smell. The front desk couldn't help much - "we're fully booked" with a shrug of the shoulders. Needs some serious updating

Cosy hotel at a very nice place. When you want relax this hotel is a good idea. We were there in low season. The staff at the reception desk and at the bar was very friendly and always helpful. Our room was clean and we had a nice view. Breakfast was not bad, could be more fresh vegetables offered. Gluten Free options available with a small choice of sweats and bread! Very nice! Wireless internet connection...

Service is amazing, location is superb but the bed is rock-hard and really hard to sleep on. And the warm covers smell nasty, like they have been in drawer for years already without cleaning. Also I would not recommend eating at the hotel-own restaurant. The food is mediocre at best and cannot compare with the great restaurants nearby at the beach.

Lovely hotel with fab views over the small bay of Tamariu. Lovely staff. Unfortunately some of the rooms (1st floor) are under a very big terrace and the soundproofing is extremely bad to the extent that all the noise from people pulling chairs, walking, running can be heard until late at night. In these rooms it is impossible to relax during the day or fall asleep early. This is in stark contrast...

Friendly staff. Amazing views from rooms with sea view. Perfect location. Comfortable beds. Good room size. On the downside there are no tea and coffee facilities in the room and the hotel doesn't offer room service. But other than that great!

Lovely receptionist Anna, really welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Wonderful location for coastal walking.

Excellent hotel with spacious room and just 2 steps from the beach. Very friendly staff. Loses one star for us because the resto food was only average for our visit with a dining room full of yelling children from the usual suspects.

My family and I have just returned from a very relaxing and enjoyable 10 days in Tamariu. The apartment was very well appointed and clean. Although we ate out most evenings the kitchen facilities were excellent. The bedroom was comfortable and had plenty of wardrobe space and a very good pedestal fan. The main living area, although small, was just big enough for 4 persons. It also had air conditioning...

Although without ocean views, the apartment has lots of light, it is spacious, it is very well equipped and most important, truly clean

Amazing location, amazing amenities, very nice Spa and a spectacular view, great breakfast. Unfortunately, the service was amongst the worst I have experienced so far. I would still recommend it, but whoever is considering a stay here should be aware and not expect too much in terms of friendliness of the service ;)

Recently completely refurbished, this 4 star hotel has a modern, minimalistic vibe. Airy & light with comfortable seating. We only visited the bar, so I can't say anything about the rooms & as it was night time, I couldn't really see the garden but I will definitely return during the daytime.

Fantastic value. Worth staying a couple of nights at least for those travelling around Spain. Small beach which effectively almost private. Restaurants on the beach are closed for winter. Path following the coast for those who enjoy a stroll

Stayed for one night with half board meals and spa entrance. We did a massage in the spa which was great and not too pricey. The spa- was very nice and not packed, the one down side I personally had that neither of the pools were hot but only warm. Generally good hotel. What I like most is its location. Because the hotel faces the bay and the sea itself on both sides of its elongated building. Parking is right at the entrance of the hotel, however a bit crowded with cars and if you arrive late in the evening there are no place available. Rooms are good, but a bit shabby. Breakfast is OK. Located in the country side, a few kilometers from the coast but near to the Costa Brava hot spots. New and refurbished rooms, with a great swimming pool and spa.

I can only speak to their restaurant as I was not a hotel guest. If the food and hotel service are anything alike then you are in very good hands. The restaurant provides a lovely outdoor seating area surrounded in greenery and if indoor seating is the preference they used glass floor-to-ceiling walls so you can still feel like you’re outdoors. We stayed here for two days and it was such a great experience. The room was very modern and clean. The bed was comfortable and the terrace had an amazing view where you were able to enjoy the sun. We stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment run by Hotel Aigua Blava. The apartments are located directly next to the hotel a few meters away from the main reception building. It had been a few years since we had dinner at the hotel. The location, ambiance and service has always been excellent but we found the food old fashioned and very heavy. This time we both had fish main course and they were beautifully cooked and full of flavor, while being not to rich and heavy. We will definitely being dining here on our next trip to Aigua Blava.

Amazing location, great service, a bit of an old place that gives is some character. Food is basic not amazing but not to bed. The playa Fonda is a must, just a ten minutes beautiful walk From the hotel. Everything in begur closes at 4 so bring some food with you because the food in the hotel is a bit expensive.

The hotel is located in a beautiful, comfortable, spacious enclave with a very complete restaurant and services. The pool and bathing area is second to none.

The hotel is for adults only. Free parking for guests. Pretty detailed. Ideal to enjoy the tranquility. Spacious rooms, saltwater pool, sun loungers and Balinese to relax. Very good food. Bernat runs a beautiful hotel. The relaxed atmosphere is felt throughout this spacious setting, breakfast served on the terrace under the shade of an architectural canopy of green. Rooms have a view over Aiguablava and mornings are greeted by a chorus of cicadas. The azure waters of the Mediterranean are a hop away. A gem on the Costa Brava.

A simple hotel but where we have been very, very good. The treatment of the owners great because they are charming. There is no elevator, but the location makes up for it. Recommended to spend a few quiet days.

Even it is located in the town, the outside noises were not perceived (windows isolation). Air conditioner: Generally I can not sleep with it, but this time was silent and easy regulation for a nice temperature.

Gorgeous and charming little boutique hotel with stunning views in Llfranc. Can't say anything negative about it. Rooms were beautiful...very tastefully decorated. The staff were exceptional. Breakfast was great. Bed was very comfortable and the toiletries luxurious!!

Great experience combining quality, taste, rooms are charming, we stayed at room #15 with sea view. Breakfast is good, and CoVid measures applied. We also had dinner, they serve a reduced menu but fairly good given curfew. Owners are present so all details are considered.

Truly great experience staying at Blaumar! The staff is very kind and considerate, the rooms have spectacular views, pristine clean and well taken care of rooms and hotel grounds - plus the best part: the infinity pool! Highly recommend staying here!

Very week located with a nice restaurant, however, one lady at the reception started shouting at my son and his friends like mad because they were “taking too long to get their things from a storage room” and ended up in her throwing them out of the hotel at the time while shouting and causing a big scene. Wonderful place, right on the seaside. Naturally, can get a little loud being right on the coast but the windows are very well sealed and AC does the trick! The room was clean and regularly refreshed.

Beautiful boutique hotel. Rooms are nice but small. Location is great but we warned if you are driving. Definitely don't follow your maps as we did. Stop before the pedestrian road in front of the hotel and park up before there and walk up to the hotel. Super helpful and kind staff.
