Great location. Ok amenities. Right by one of the gates through the wall. Beds are firm. Room is adequate but sparse. Good for the price IMHO.

Very nice staff. The room was fairly clean, but several small details could easily been improved, like the soap dispenser not working in the shower, another soap dispenser was without soap, the towels we hung so they easily could be dropped in the toilet, the shower curtain was far too long making it easy to step on while showing and I also did find the room a bit cold without being able to turn on...

Fantastic deal for the price. 24 euros for a private room with private bath. 24-hour staff that is quite attentive. The room does get very cold as they shut off the heat from midnight until 6pm, and the walls are thin, but you get a good night’s rest. Warning, the bathroom isn’t the cleanest.

Very nice place. The people hosting the hostal is really nice and will make their best for you to have a superb stay. The place is clean, nice showers, comfortable beds and really well located just few minutes from the wall and the centre with all the amenities just seconds from the place door !

Super friendly reception - gave me (a solo motorcyclist) some fab tips for places to visit and foods to try in restaurants all around Galicia. Rooms were much more than basic and clean, and were a delight to stay in.

A really friendly place where the staff look after you like family. The rooms are impeccably clean. The food service is prompt, simple but delicious. The location is just a perfect distance outside the Roman-walled centre of Lugo. This is a place frequented by locals for the cafe/bar and returned to by tourists. Certainly I intend to!

We loved the people and the location - they were helpful and friendly - and we loved the dogs and cats kept us company and walked with us. Liliana the person who mainly looks after it was abroad and her husband and son were running things - language was a little tricky with them but we navigated it well, and we could communicate with Liliana on Whatsapp to ease things as her english is excellent ...

Passage pension, we were one day. The location is not bad, about 10 minutes from the center on foot. The room is acceptable with a large bed and a small bed, it has a TV. it is close to the old town, maybe 200 metres from one of the gates through the fortified walls. the lady was lovely. it was was completely quiet and peaceful and spotlessly clean. oh and good value.

Very large room with all kitchen equipment. Kind staff and close to old city and Roman wall. I will come back with my family.

This honest-to-goodness hotel is clean , tidy and great value. The breakfast is superb. Staff in all areas were great and English was spoken well. It's a short walk to town. Lugo itself is a bit of a let-down. Although it boasts a complete Roman wall to walk round, the buildings both inside and out are unsympathetically at odds with the historic location.

Very familiar and welcoming hotel, I came for work and I felt like one more in the family. The rooms are very correct and clean, quiet place. Now it's time to stay with the family. :D

Breakfast was good but only do a cooked menu del dia Monday to Thursday. But there is a nice, but noisy, restaurant/bar in walking distance but you have to cross the main road by bridge to get there. But food and price good

We have been two nights 3 people in a room with a huge bathroom. It has a cafeteria and restaurant that offers breakfast and dinner. Buffet breakfast very good. For dinner there is a menu with tapas and a daily menu for €12 with 3 starters and 3 seconds to choose from. Very good and abundant food...for us the quantity, even excessive. Excellent location, outside the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to get around quickly. Good cleaning overall. Room with reduced dimensions but functional. Weak wifi signal. Overall, quite pleased.

Nice breakfast, though not an extensive buffet. Room was huge: small apartment rather than a hotel room. I forgot an item at the hotel and they kindly sent it on to my final destination after I sent them a stamped envelope. I really appreciated that.

Value for money and good location. They gave us a room with bathroom, living room and kitchen (without utensils). For 34 euros you can not ask for more. And very clean. Breakfast included and it was very complete.

Everything is great. The clean rooms, the perfect bed and pillow for my taste, there is no noise from the street and you rest perfectly. In addition, the care given by its owners Olga and Victor makes you feel at home. I only have words of thanks for the whole weekend that I have spent there. I will surely repeat every year.
