Nice hotel on the outskirts of Lugo. Convenient to get into town or to access highways out of town. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Overall, a good experience!

A solid hotel with a good restaurant

Staff very friendly. Room was really good. Thou you are out of town the bus was so easy & at €0.64 per person excellent value. There was a wedding there & personally i would like to have been told as we were tired & would have liked to have been able to go to sleep early. Better night the next night.

Great location inside the old town. Basic but clean rooms. Very comfortable bed pillows. A good variety for breakfast. The roof top terrace is lovely ro visit for an evening meal and/or drinks. Friendly service.

Rooms and decorations are a bit tired for a 4* hotel. However the service is excellent and very friendly.

Came for the Roman walls, stayed for the rooftop views and breakfast that made me question my life choices—why haven’t I been here every day? Staff friendlier than my own family. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys comfort, history, and a good laugh at how spoiled they’ve become.

This is rated as a 4 star hotel. 2 main points at issue. 1) There is one entry point in to the hotel with a series of steps to reception. There is no ramp and certainly there was no one to assist me with my suitcase. There is a disability mover at the entrance but in 2024 but no one was there and the vast majority of people can manage suitcases/ prams, wheelchairs, using a well designed ramp. I...

Clean, modern and comfortable room. A bit of a walk to old town, but there’s plenty of cafes and bakeries on the way. I parked my motorcycle on the road just outside the hotel and it was all okay overnight.

The room had what we needed but you could hear the wind whistling at all times. You could hear other guests clearly. The parking is bizarre. They have to let you in and out so you have to tell the front desk. The hotel felt eerie, I was uncomfortable walking alone in the area even before dark. There is no fridge.

Stayed one night as part of the Camino. The hotel is just outside the old city walls, and you can easily walk to the old town. The hotel is quite new and has nice, clean rooms - though not very large. The staff is friendly and helpful, and all speak some English. The buffet breakfast was great, lots of choices and freshly brewed coffee. Also good non gluten options.

Very familiar and welcoming hotel, I came for work and I felt like one more in the family. The rooms are very correct and clean, quiet place. Now it's time to stay with the family. :D

A pleasant hotel on the outskirts of Lugo. Quite hard to find but worth the search when you get there. The hotel is clean and the rooms large and comfortable. Located in a rather industrial area but there are buses in Lugo and getting to the centre is simple. Good value for money.

Quiescent place on the banks of the romantic river with Roman bridge . The view is unbeatable . The room is sparking clean . It is located in the sanatorium with Roman baths and rehabilitation center, some clients are elderly convalescents, which warms your heart, but it might not be for everyone’s taste.

Stayed 2 nites. First nite was a little strange. It seemed to be a location for a seniors only. Aside from the staff (who were absolutely GREAT!!!!) I seemed to be the only traveler in my age range. Overall the room was clean, breakfast was OK, its about a 15-20 min fairly aggressive uphill hike to old town.

Nice quiet place. The walls of Lugo are a 20 minute uphill hike, but doable. The river walking trails are great. The clientele of this hotel are largely elderly. The Roman baths in the basement are interesting if you like that sort of thing.

Million dollar view and it ends there… A million dollar view, but very dated. The beds were uncomfortable. The staff was not that friendly with English speakers. The spa did not have a functioning steam or dry sauna. I cannot recommend, unless you get a river view room and just take in the Roman bridge.

We booked this hotel very last minute when we arrived at Lugo after walking the Camino backwards from Santiago. It’s an old hotel, a bit past its time, but very clean with hot and cold shower and breakfast. If you are a bit like me and find little dated hotels charming (with light blue tiles in the bathroom), this is a good place for one or two nights.

Nice breakfast, though not an extensive buffet. Room was huge: small apartment rather than a hotel room. I forgot an item at the hotel and they kindly sent it on to my final destination after I sent them a stamped envelope. I really appreciated that.

This honest-to-goodness hotel is clean , tidy and great value. The breakfast is superb. Staff in all areas were great and English was spoken well. It's a short walk to town. Lugo itself is a bit of a let-down. Although it boasts a complete Roman wall to walk round, the buildings both inside and out are unsympathetically at odds with the historic location.
