It was a great place to visit if u want to have a nice time

A bit far (for walking) from the beach. Pool is OK and the garden furniture is good. Restaurant is sometimes crowded but the food is fairly good; for the people more picky there is a cook with a hot-plate grilling fish or meat. Staff is OK. Also, the rooms and bathrooms could use some renovation. Well, it is a good hotel but does not seem like a 4 star... I would say a 3 star...

Rooms need renovation. Buffet breakfast is ok but has plenty of room to improve (fresh juices for example). Price was pretty cheap though. Everything was correct & acceptable. Overall, not bad, fair enough

The location as well as the facility as a whole with the extensive park with direct access over the cliffs to the beach, the large rooms. Parts of the hotel especially the bar and the restaurant were recently renovated, which in total contributed to a very nice appearance. The whole hotel fits excellently into the landscape.

The reason I gave a five star review of this Parador lies in the lack of pretentiousness of the place and its downright simplicity. Of couse staff is also professional and kind. Lunch at the outdoors cafeteria and summer restaurant was correct, nothing to write home about. Since the Parador is located atop a small cliff, access to the beach requieres stamina to go through the odd 170 wooden steps...

Only visited the restaurant. Filet of seabass with a number of fishbones . Small steak, more cooked than baked. Only a handful of french fries, no sauce, no vegetables, no salad. Too high price for what is served on the plate.

One of the best places to watch the sunset. Its surroundings are beautiful. You can use the chill out area and restaurant without being a guest. The attention and service are outstanding. Highly recommended.

Been coming here every 2 years since the turn of the century. Feels like coming to visit a family (in a good way). The rooms are clean and have everything I could ask for. The food is good. The service is excellent! Wouldn't mind some increase in the price in exchange for more elaborate dinners we used to have here.

Modest rooms at a not so modest price. The rooms are clean but dated and noisy since the doors are thin and the corridors do not have carpet.

Lovely staff, super pool area, booking company bedrooms and bathrooms looked a lot better than ours, only there for 2 nights so not too important. Really friendly place but Mazagon dead on a Sunday and Monday night Every thing closed. Their amazing paella ,stunning.

A typical cheap and cheerful hotel. The irony being on cheap, as its not that cheap. It's clean and close to everything in the area and has all the basic necessities one could need. Breakfast is pretty weak but there are plenty of bars in area where you can get some decent food. The Seafood in the area is some of the best on the world.

We have been there for a few days. I'm going to summarize it. For what it has cost us and to be a 3-star hotel, a TEN. Pool with a phenomenal atmosphere (until 22 HRS) Full breakfast (for that price, what do you want) Overall decent cleanliness. Facilities consistent with their age, but working perfectly. Nearby services, nearby beaches, a multitude of restaurants, bars, etc. just a few meters away...

We loved this experience! We did not hesitate to return, the staff was very friendly and responsive to any questions we had. Like the maids, impeccable cleanliness and extraordinary treatment. The pool was wonderful, comfortable and with plenty of hours for a last minute dip. Nice place and wonderful people.

We have been twice this summer. The staff is very nice, the stay has been very quiet. They are always with a smile and if you need anything they always help you. V We traveled with our one-year-old baby and then returned with the two children. To repeat without a doubt.

The hotel is located in a quaint village and offers good value, being very close to the beach – just a few steps away. The room was basic but clean. Breakfast was okay, with good quality food, though it would have been nice if it were more diverse. The pool area is rather small for the size of the hotel and was crowded most of the time.

Looks like the highest rooftop in town. Very good gin and tonics and 360 degree sunset views of the sea and the town. Really good place to take in the whole town and understand how it is laid out. The server could have had a little more grace and charm.

Perfectly located, across Cabildo Square. This was our second time at the hotel. The rooms are comfortable and super clean. The hotel offers a nice breakfast buffet at reasonable prices in a bright modern setting, overlooking the patio. There is a large terrace on the top floor to enjoy a drink. We're from Portugal and we went to see the moto gp in jerez and we chose this place because it was the best option for us (price, location and quality) it went well, and we liked it a lot! Good to leave the motorcycles protected.

It was very noisy. Because of the hotels design, the noise from the lounge/resteraunt area travels up into the hallways and rooms. For those of us that like to go to bed before 10pm, it is very hard to get to sleep.

Excellent resort to take the children. The obvious attraction being the aqua park the hotel provides which is big enough and fun. Also the proximity to the beach from the hotel was a bonus. An enjoyable experience all round. Food was great too and of a high standard.

Just stayed at Barcelo Costa Ballena with my pro and 10 other ladies. We had a super 5 nights there and would not hesitate to recommend others to this Hotel. The rooms, lobby, reception area, 2 pools bars, restaurant are all great, and staff are friendly and helpful throughout. (Just wish we'd had time to go to the Spa!)

May is definitely a great time to visit! It’s just before the tourist crowds roll in for the summer. The weather is warm and the ocean is cold! This resort has a great pool, is just steps from the beach, and situated on a nature preserve. Quiet, and relaxing.

Really Barcelo gets 3 for value for money. This should be a great location, however my first impression on arrival is, I'm a Sausage being processed by the machine. It's all great.
