All the staff is amazing me and my family are very happy probably we coming back next year. My kids have a lot of fun at the Kids Club and Minidisco with Stefy, Eva,Vero and Fabi. Me and my wife are having a laugh every night with Natalia. She do it pretty well with the quizzes,bingos and dances. Everything is very clean and the waiters are marvellous

Everyone was so lovely and kind at the hotel to my and myself. Attentive, caring and considerate throughout our entire small holiday in Málaga. Especially amazing staff were Jade the receptionist whom helped with all our concerns and Stefi and her colleagues whom were involving with the kids in Benys club. Came here for 5 nights and we had a great stay! The room was very clean and today with all the things you needed. The beds where comfy. The staff where helpful, only thing I could complain about was there was no free access to drinking water anyway. The restaurant was good with a wide selection of choices. I would of thought they would of had a kids section with it being a very child friendly hotel...

Lovely hotel, very clean and modern apartment. Unfortunately we were located above the ventilation for the laundry/technical room so not a minute day or night that didn't sound like we were next to a factory! We were in room 515 and really this room and the rooms above and below should be blocked off. Not only the constant noise but various smells, some nice....washing, some not so great.....school...

Just a bit pricey for a room with no real view, tea making facilities. Kettle would’ve been fine we could’ve provided our own tea. Great friendly staff though.

Top marks to the Sol y Miel I've stayed at the Sol y Miel many times. The recent refurbishment especially in reception and bar areas is very good and a nice place to sit and relax. As always the staff are very helpful and friendly which made our stay a pleasurable experience.

Iv bean in Hostasl all over Europe. If Hostal sol y Meir put on an evening meal it be a 3 star hotel. Reception ace. Housekeeping brilliant. I can assure you I'm no robot. Right in the hub of Spanish living. ( I love all that) So friendly. Great location. Great digs. Great staff. Affordable. Ect.ect. I've got a lot of places id like to go. But be back!Thanks . Iain

For the money, this is a good hotel. The staff are very friendly, nice people and very helpful. The breakfast is really good, a big selection. The pool is a good size and is very clean. The room could do with updating as the kitchen units look a bit dated. I was very sceptical about booking this hotel as there were lots of negative reviews but glad I did as I ended up saving hundreds of pounds....

A bit rude lady at the reception. In front of the hotel was quite crowdy, so I came directly to the parking place on the opposite building side. When I came to the reception, I got scolded for parking W/O permission and W/O prior payment. Huh... Sorry, there was no else place to park and in an email I have explicitelly asked for parking place TO PAY = 10 EUR. Hotel is quite old.

We had an absolutely fantastic week here the start of July. I honestly can’t believe the nonsense on here about queuing for Sunbeds. We went out at various points of the day and there were always beds, and quite a lot of the time in every area. So the only need you have to queue is if you wish to waste an hour of your holiday. Yes people queue from 7:30 for beds because they want to sit in the same spot but we’ve joined the queue at 9:45 every morning and everyday we have easily got a bed in the same area with no problem. Situated up a slight incline this hotel is close to everything in Benalmadena. Five minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of bars & restaurants nearby. Rooms are spacious & clean. Food is excellent. Would definitely recommend, we made so many happy memories here.

Very satisfied and worth going

Stayed in sunset many times in the past , but never this time of year (week before Christmas) a few restaurants not open and just a buffet or a bar snack menu available. Still a lot of refurbishment work going on too. A bit pricey as well even with some of the inconveniences. Apart from that I enjoyed my stay and would return again

Location, proximity and impeccable property

The location was good, a twenty minute drive the Pueblo Mijas, decent local beaches nearby. However the beach that is by the property is not worth the 5 minute walk. The rooms were ok, we had a two bedrooms suite for 5 adults. The pullout sofa is a trundle type of bed and not ideal or remotely comfortable for an adult. The hotel holiday house, the check-in hall and the holiday house are a little far. The room facilities are a little old, but they are all complete. It is very suitable for a long-term seaside vacation, and the kitchen equipment is very complete.

I want to mention just how helpful Jose Luis was in helping us deal with a rental car situation. This is exceptional service by a hotel front desk. Likewise they were very patient with my sleep deprived self when dealing with this with my Husband. Rooms were fully equipped and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful with all of our needs and were very attentive. The location is a little isolated and you need a taxi to get to most places. Will definitely return.

This a great place to stay in the off-season. Not very crowded and just enough restaurants in the area, however it is somewhat isolated if you don't have a car all things considered. The hotel is in a good location, near the beach. There are not many types of breakfast. The price is much cheaper than the surrounding hotels. The hygiene is average.

Middle spring break in Andalucia The hotel has a nice location. They wanted a deposit, which was not mentioned in the app. Breakfast choice is really weak. Bathroom is really disgusting and there is not enough space between the toilet and sink.

We enjoyed our stay here. I would definitely recommend. Unfortunately the pool was cold again and in our room there was nowhere to sit apart from the bed, even though there was room for a large chair.
