Hotel opened in 1963, renovated in 2008. In this hotel 154 rooms, 7 floors.

Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot.

We had an amazing stay here with my 8-month old daughter. The location is perfect , the staff is very helpful and the food and drink was amazing! I am gluten intolerant so I really appreciated the allergy labels at the breakfast buffet as well as the gluten free bread, muffins and crackers offered . I hope to stay there again! Highly recommended!

Hotel Aromar is in the best location, a few steps away from the beach in a quiet part of Costa Brava. Our team really enjoyed their time there as we hosted a summit at the hotel. The staff were always friendly and were able to assist us with any requirements that we had. I hope to visit again some time in the future with my family.

This hotel is the perfect spot in on the beach and in the middle of Platja d'Aro. The staff is friendly and we had a great time. The rooms are cleaned every day and some rooms have coffee pod machines in. Their breakfast buffet is also worth every penny.

Lovely hotel right on the beach. Easy walk to the town and a nice walk along the promenade where you can walk for miles or a short stroll. Our room was very clean with a small balcony and sea view. We had lovely buffet breakfast each morning with a good choice including fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, eggs and cooked bacon etc, we sat out on the terrace for breakfast over looking the sea. We had dinner there one night which was very good, also buffet style. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. We would stay again.

It was a really nice stay. The atmosphere is very relaxed, the hotel very pretty, straight at the beach, the rooms beautiful and very clean with sea view and the staff in general is extremely friendly and funny.
I hurt my back during my stay and they all helped me. Special thanks to Lidia from reception and the stunning lady, who worked at the bar on the 31 of May at midday. They even took my dog for a small walk as i couldn't move anymore before going to the health center.
Also very dog friendly but as they handle it so well, it's like you can hardly see and feel the dogs around (clean, no barking, no stress, ...)
I can really recommend the hotel Aromar.

A really nice experience here recently... Stayed for 2 nights. Super clean and plush hotel... Staff really made the experience better.... Especially Mavi on the front desk... She was super friendly and nice. Very helpful and made us feel like we were staying in 7 star hotel... Thank you Mavi

Mixed feelings: from one side: Incredibile position just in front of the beach; our room (sea view suite) big and comfortable (one of the renovated rooms), food, despite the buffet, good.
But then there are other things I cannot accept in a 4 star hotel: the issues with the unavailable parking (as noted by many comments…), the lack of room service, and especially what really upset me: they don’t clean the cups and the tray in the room, you have to do it yourself. And of course they don’t refill the coffees and teas you may have enjoyed the first day. I had to find out after 2 days, asking in the reception, thinking they forgot for some reason. Really those small things can make a huge difference.
But then there are other things I cannot accept in a 4 star hotel: the issues with the unavailable parking (as noted by many comments…), the lack of room service, and especially what really upset me: they don’t clean the cups and the tray in the room, you have to do it yourself. This hotel is located on the beach, next to the sea. We have booked it because it promised a private paid underground parking, and it looked nice on the pictures.
The location is good. The rest about promises was a deception: no parking on site, the room looks nothing like on the pictures, and the service is lazy at best.
DO NOT BELIEVE THEM! That private parking they mention on the site is in fact the city public parking place, ten minutes walk from the hotel.
They have put us on the last floor, under the roof, the only floor they did not renovate. Crack on the walls, furniture falling down, bathroom is old and not exactly clean, shower head needs replacement. The hotel has in fact seven private parking spaces, free of charge, but you have no chatting park there, as those are always occupied with the cars with Spain license plates, most probably by the hotel stuff. We had to park on the streets, and every time you drive out, you need to spend tens of minutes to find a place to park again.
70% of the hotel was empty, but they did not care and put us to the cheapest room available. Linen and mattress were okay, so we decided to stay there after all.
Will not come again. Also, I would not advise to book it, just cannot appreciate the very liberal presentation of that property.
