We are here for our second visit so, knew what to expect. Once again, we are delighted with the place. The staff look after you with such care and kindness. Totally professional and guest focused.
Breakfast is good quality with something for everyone.
Close proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants is a bonus.
Platja d'Aro is a proper town and well worth exploring.
We will be back soon xx

We have just returned from this hotel and feel really let down especially by the very arrogant Manager/Owner. We arrived at the hotel and it didn't look to bad, we are both elderly and I have great walking difficulties, we asked for a lower floor which was fine. Within a few hours the resort was not by a massive storm,our room and passage was a complete washout ankle deep in water, I reported this immediately to this manager and he informed us that we would have to move rooms, as I said earlier we are both elderly and handicapped, NOT one person helped us and we struggled to move rooms,after this I told this manager how unhappy we were at being abandoned, he went absolutely ballistic and told me in a very very bad and angry manner that if I wanted help I had to say PLEASE how disgusting, and it ruined our holiday, I informed him that we would never return to his hotel. The room given to us was very basic, the bathroom/shower was very dangerous, you had to step over the bath to obtain a shower, there was no safety may or hand rail to help you, in fact one guest while we there fell and BROKE 3 RIBS, there was no phone no fridge, We were really glad to leave today. We are really experienced travellers and don't put in bad reviews but this manager and his hotel really let holiday makers down, there are far better hotels in the area and and I would encourage people to look elsewhere, I can only give it 3/10. This is a fabulous, friendly hotel very close to the sea front. The hotel is quite small and very homely. The communal areas are very nice. The pool area is quite small but was not busy while we were there. The breakfasts are excellent, the breakfast area is large with seating available outside in the lovely courtyard. The food is typically continental and plentiful with items restocked quickly. There are plenty of cereals, breads, cheeses and meats as expected along with fruit,cakes as well as scrambled eggs and ‘bacon’ for those that want. Our room was very nice, on the second floor with a large enough balcony overlooking the courtyard. The bathroom was quite small but adequate with a really good shower over a small bath. There wasn’t a hairdryer in the room but you can get one from reception. The staff were all lovely and very helpful, especially Manuela. The bar was a good place to start and end the evening, very well priced with a great selection. A special mention would have to be made to Josef who manned the bar with his own particular style - luckily we really enjoyed his choice in music. Will definitely look at returning

As all prevous reviews the overwhelming thing is the staff here are all excellent- the comunal areas are a great place to relax and enjoy- imaculatly clean and well looked after- the only reason for not giving it full score was we were unlucky with our room allocation !! Great prices and lunch snacks- cheapest drinks in resort and good choicezz dont hesitate to book and stay here-- soerry did i say fantastic location , as it is !!!

One of the best hotels I've ever been to. The rooms are really nice for what you pay and the mattresses are really comfortable. I stayed in a double room with balcony, which to be honest was bigger than I expected, it even has a table and some chairs. I also loved the breakfast because it is a buffet and there are many different foods. You can also eat there during lunch time. The bar remains open all the afternoon and there is a kind man called Joseph that plays the best music in the whole platja d'aro. All the staff is very kind and they are willing to help at all times. The location is probably one of the best things of the hotel. It is thirty seconds away from the beach and 2 minutes from the very center of the town. I hope to be be back soon!!

I recently stayed at Els Pins Hotel and had a mixed experience. The room was on the smaller side, which wasn’t ideal, and the air conditioning didn’t work very well, making the space a bit uncomfortable at times. However, I must say that the room was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated.
The breakfast was a definite highlight, with a wide variety of options to choose from. There was an impressive selection of bread, pastries, cakes, and spreads, ensuring there was something for everyone.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s just a 1-minute walk to the beach and only 2 minutes to the main street, which made exploring the area incredibly convenient.
However, at €130 per night for a standard “mini” room, I found the price to be on the high side given the size of the room and the issues with the air conditioning. Overall, while there were some positives, I’m not sure it offered the best value for money.

Came here for a bit of a lads long weekend, it was cheap and cheerful, yet better than expected. Hotel was nice and clean and the breakfast was great. Pool is a little small however you have the sea on the doorstop. Hotel is ideally located to all local amenities.

Hotel Els Pins is a lovely hotel in a great location, just 70m from promenade, beach and a selection of beach bars & restaurants and 150m from the main street in Platja d'Aro, which has very many quality shops, bars and restaurants.
The staff are pleasant and friendly and are happy to help or answer questions. Our room (345) was clean, light & airy and seemed to have been redecorated recently. It looked out onto the pine trees in the outdoor courtyard, where you could eat breakfast/snacks. The room was cleaned daily & clean towels provided as required.
The breakfast room provided a good selection of continental style breakfast items and bacon & scrambled eggs as a hot option.
The bar is well stocked and the sitting area was a pleasant meeting place for a drink after returning from an evening meal.
The pool area is nice, with a number of sun loungers, one side becoming shady later in the day.
We had an early pickup on leaving and the breakfast room was made available to us with a selection of items, coffee etc. before our departure.
We would definitely stay here again.

This lovely hotel is in a class of it's own.We stayed for a week and cannot fault the friendliness and service that we received. Nothing was too much trouble for the wonderful staff.The bedrooms had everything you could want,plenty of space and great bathroom. The breakfast was brilliant, such a choice. Lovely pool area,with plenty of sunbeds.Hotel is in a great position, almost on the beach,minutes away from the restaurants and superb shops. Once again I will thank all the lovely staff who made our holiday perfect.

Absolute gem of a hotel, such friendly staff ,rooms had everything you could wish for and the breakfast was just superb.All tastes catered for.We didn't want for anything.As I said before the brilliant staff couldn't do enough ,they remembered your names and room number, always a smile and wave from the reception ladies and gentlemen 👍🙂The lovely ladies who cleaned our room every day were just as friendly. The hotel is situated in a nice quiet part of Platja D'or just steps away from the beach and all the shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this lovely little hotel .
