Eix Lagotel Holiday Resort

The pool areas are great, with both low and deep pools, for children and grownups.

There is a area only for people over 16 with a bar and everything.

The noise level in the hotel was in our option way to loud (grownups and Children where allowed to run in the halls shouting way past midnight)

The staff is super friendly and definitely helpful if you have any questions or trouble, they speak good English.

Good location, fresh rooms, very rich and good breakfast (although it was very strange that scrambled eggs were only served 1 day a week), comfortable beds and bedding, good with free shuttle to the beach and main street, quite ok facilities, great with 3 pool areas and that one of them is for adults only.

However, there are a couple of issues that lower the rating significantly:
*The drinks in the bar are not good at all.
*The entertainment is subpar - poor quality and poor variety, who the hell wants to play bingo every night??
*The entertainment area, both indoor and outdoor has incredibly horrible lighting, not cozy at all. And the sound is really bad, way too loud and poor quality so you can't hear what is being said in the microphones. The indoor bar feels like a school canteen, both in terms of sound and light.
*The shop in the hotel has slightly strange opening hours, closes already at 4 pm 3 days a week.
*The air conditioning in the apartment is very loud, completely impossible to sleep with it on.
*There is no soundproof so you can hear the neighbours REALLY well, we woke up a couple of times in the night by people just talking.
*The Wi-Fi is really bad, we could not use it at all since it was so weak.

Overall we had a good holiday but will probably not return to this hotel as it clearly focuses on Brits........chips for breakfast is beyond strange for example and the unhealty snacks/food at the pool bar is a big no no.

PS. the new paddel arena is such an eye sore!! Can´t believe that they chose to build that there to destroy the view!?

The hotel was nice in general. Location is about 10-15 mins walk to the nearest shops & restaurants & beach.
Our room was nice overall, but with a couple of bits, which would be better if they were replaced.
The food was OK, as you'd expect from all inclusive restaurant. We found plenty of things we liked each night.
The 3 pools were lovely and there was always plenty of sunbeds available.
The staff were all quite welcoming & helpful.
The big gripe we had was that out air-conditioning wasn't working and our room was permanently cold. I would imagine it would be better as the temperature rises into the summer months. We reported it on 4 seperate occasions and each time they assured us it.woild be fixed. It meant we had to get wrapped up when we were in the room.

Eix Lagotel is a place you either love or hate. Upon arrival, you'll immediately notice that this isn't a place of tranquility and serenity. Three massive complexes are connected like a Berlin Wall, and they are far from inspiring. The stark white block structure resembles human stables, and that's exactly how it feels inside. Everything is bare and lacks attention to detail. It's a true holiday factory.

Every evening, there's a filled evening program ranging from acrobatics to singing and karaoke. There are plenty of activities for kids too, including a semi-arcade, pool tables, and table football.

Now, onto breakfast. We didn't opt for an all-inclusive treatment but rather included breakfast. Despite the mega crowds, it's very well organized. The bread rolls are fresh, there's fruit and fresh deli meats, and the content varies almost daily.

As for the pool, it's decent. I miss having a pool bar or an easy way to order drinks from my sunbed as the bar is quite far from the pool. The poolside food is a decent 6. The meals are not exceptional but okay if you want a quick snack.

Regarding the staff, there's not much to say as they don't really engage with you and seem to work tirelessly in the holiday factory. No criticism, but you can tell they don't derive much pleasure from what they do every day. Perhaps it's due to the intoxicated people ordering beer for the thousandth time while barely able to stand.

The room: it's tidy and average. Our bathroom lacked ventilation, and the air conditioning only heated, it couldn't cool. The beds are very hard, and the pillows too thin. The room decor is very standard for an average hotel. Don't expect inspiring posters or artworks, just a photo of the most average bridge in the area.

But is there anything positive? Yes, the price-quality ratio. I paid 400 euros per person for a week including flights, and that's exactly what you get. A decent location for a week away, whether swimming or preferably heading to the beach. Grab your breakfast and explore Mallorca yourself. If you want peace and quiet without the screaming people and excessive noise until midnight, then this isn't the place for you.
