Prinsotel La Pineda

When we arrived we were not put into the room we were supposed to be in. I complained and we got moved the next morning. General comments: The area of Cala Ratjada is 90% German tourists. At first we were not used to it and felt a little like outsiders but we had a really nice time as felt welcomed and the atmosphere was always nice. Sunbeds are really hard to get. People reserve them with towels from early morning and don’t use them until hours later. They are left empty while other people have nowhere to sit. Staff don’t police it. This leaves guests very annoyed. Toilets near the pool never had hand soap or towels to dry. Hand dryers were broken. On the whole it was a really nice hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed the area and could use nearby shops and supermarkets. The marina is really nice for dining out. Would stay there again apart from sunbeds being an issue as it can spoil your day if you want to be around the pool and all the beds are not being used with towels on them.

We have really enjoyed our family vacation at this place. The staff is professional, kind and always smiling. The food was fresh and tasty. There is a supermarket 200 meters from a hotel, bus stops practically in front of the hotel. There are a lot of possibilities for a free parking nearby, if you have a car. Cala Rajada is a beautiful place and there are one of the most beautiful beaches close to (Cala Mesquida, Cala Torta, Cala Mitjana). As a frequent traveller, I really suggest you to visit this hotel.

I'm fully recommend this hotel. Food was the best ever. Lots of fresh sea-food frying on your eyes. Big diversity for everyone, lots of salads, cakes, desserts etc. Even coffee was a real coffee ! Enough space around the pool with free sunbeds. Room hotel was cleaned everyday and bed linen changed. The atmosphere was very nice. In the main parts thanks to animators. We met Chris (Krzysztof from Poland) , who really cared about our well-being. We could have a little chat and ask for advices about Majorca. A nice, young man with lots of sense of humor, who led the evening entertainments. A big THANK YOU Chris and rest of your colleagues from whole hotel to make our holidays very happy.

This Hotel is a 10/10. I stayed here with my Friends the entertainment was so good and funny also. There is a beautifull beach 20 min away wich has pink sand.The food in the Hotel is delicious always they have a big variety and very healthy, they offer a lot of different fruits. The rooms also are really comfortable I personally really enjoyed the balcony wich is by the way pretty big even with a smaller room. All in all definetely recommend we will be back here next summer.

Our experience was great and we truly enjoyed our stay within a week. The territory is quite large with multiple facilities including 2 pools and multiple tennis courts, we didn't have a chance to play, but they actually provided all the equipment. The rooms were clean, a little bit old fashioned bathroom, but quite nice overall with a decent balcony. The bed was comfy while the pillows were a little bit thick. The hotel is located on the best spot, close to the city center and the seaside, while on the other side you can get to the most beautiful beach around, which is insanely good. Also there is a best grocery store in just 2 minutes. The only weird thing was with a safe lock, that you have to pay separately for it and use the key, not very convenient. The pools were nice and all areas around the building with plants and trees were well maintained and beautiful. We did try the sauna and it was decent, highly recommended. Never had a chance to stay for food, but many people did, mostly Germans and seemed to enjoy it. So overall it was a great stay for a reasonable price.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The rooms were nice and clean, each with its own balcony. The area is calm and quiet. Between buildings there is a swimming pool and pine trees where a lot of birds live. You can hear them from your room! The breakfasts were really good quality, the staff was very nice and overall it was a great experience. The only thing they could improve is the renal bike service. The one I borrowed was in a bad condition, it was missing air in the back suspension, front suspension didn't lock and a few smaller issues.

We had a wonderful stay and cannot thank the staff for looking after us so well… and accommodating us when we needed to change rooms … Pedro Theresa and the other blonde lady with glasses who I could not pronounce her name and also Francesca where just amazing .. all the waiting staff and bar staff where wonderful .. I recently spent two week at this hotel with my family, and we were impressed from start to finish. The facilities are excellent, and the rooms were more than comfortable. The staff was very nice and friendly, and the entire hotel had a pleasant, relaxing vibe. What made our holiday truly special though, was the Chris from animation team. He was incredibly kind, professional, and had a great sense of spontaneity that kept the activities lively. Chris really knew how to engage with the guests, organizing events that were both fun and well-structured. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a family-friendly, well-run place to stay.

During my stay at the hotel, I found the food to be quite delightful, with a variety of flavors that catered well to a general palate. However, I noticed a significant gap in the menu offerings, particularly the absence of vegan protein options which could be an area for improvement.

The ambiance of the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. On some evenings, the music volume was excessively loud, which seemed unnecessary given the sparse crowd around the stage. This could be fine-tuned to enhance the overall atmosphere.

An unexpected encounter with a large rat one evening was certainly off-putting. It suggests that the hotel could benefit from a more rigorous pest control protocol to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests.

On a positive note, the spa facilities were commendable, providing a tranquil space to unwind. It was disappointing, however, to find the jacuzzi out of order. The outdoor pool, in contrast, was well-maintained and provided a refreshing retreat.

The rooms impressed with their spaciousness, boasting comfortable beds, large TV screens, and plush sofas, all contributing to a very pleasant and relaxing personal space.

While the hotel itself provided a decent level of comfort, the surrounding area lacked activities and points of interest, which might be a consideration for those looking to explore the local culture and entertainment.

In summary, while there are aspects that shine, there are also areas that need attention. With a few adjustments, this hotel has the potential to provide a more rounded and satisfying experience for all guests.
