Parador de Ronda

An absolutely stunning place to stay in Ronda, unbeatable views across such an incredible landscape. The staff were incredibly professional and polite. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. The food and drinks prices were exceptionally reasonable and I will be personally recommending the accommodation and Ronda to family and friends to visit.

We only spent two days and one night here but felt at home immediately.
The staff were warm and welcoming and could not do enough to please you.

The room we had was excellent. Two balconies giving a wonderful view of the valley and the setting sun.

My wife and I had a very romantic time sitting on our balcony watching the sun set behind the mountains.

The pool was also perfect.

The location of the hotel was spot on. It was in easy walking distance of the attractions and the old town.

We will definitely be coming back soon.

Oh joy, the best location in town, right next to the Catalonia Hotel, because who doesn't want to be in the heart of the action? But, wow, the interior facade is a real eyesore, it's like they hired a blind person to design it. I mean, seriously, who thought that was a good idea? They should be publicly shamed for that monstrosity. BUT, miraculously, the interior design is actually decent, the furniture is nice, and the rooms are okay, I guess. The service? Well, it's like dealing with a government agency, they won't bend over backwards for you, but they'll get the job done eventually. Just don't expect any special treatment. And, bonus! You might get to enjoy a wedding or five during your stay, because why not? But hey, despite all this, I'll still come back, because Ronda is amazing, and this place is...fine. It's like that one friend who's always a bit annoying, but you still hang out with them because they're somehow lovable.

First class! Highly recommended. Best location in Ronda - right next to the bridge. Spectacular views. Modern and very comfortable rooms. Impressive service from all staff members. Gorgeous swimming pool. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in July 2024. Check-in was fast and we got room 109. The hotel seems to be under maintenance and refurbishment so e.g. restaurant toilets seem to be closed. Our room was quite large with wooden floors, two beds moved together, a small table and two chairs, a small balcony with a view to lookout spot at the back of the hotel. The hotel also featured a small fridge with some soft drinks and beer, a desk and a wardrobe with an old school safe where you had to use the keycard to open/close the safe. The cards were a bit of an issue as they were sensitive to electronics (e.g the mobile phone) so we had to get them replaced a couple of times during our stay. The bathroom was quite large with tiles, two sinks and a bathtub/shower area that worked quite well. The wifi was decent enough but there were a couple of things that we found a bit annoying: the floor seems to be uneven, so the wooden floor was squeaking quite a lot when walking on it. There was also quite a lot of noise when the neighboring rooms were using the showers – it seemed to be just noise from water flowing through the pipes.

We had breakfast one morning at the restaurant and that was OK. There was a buffet of the usual bread, cereal, fruits etc and you could also order eggs to your liking. There was a bar with a view of the main bridge and the small pool also had a lovely view. The location of the hotel is just amazing as it is located right next to the main bridge (Puente Nuevo) and hence it takes just a minute to walk over to the old town of Ronda.

The hotel has an underground car park, which was very convenient for us as we had a rental car with us. All in all, a good hotel with a room that seems a bit dated, but the location is fantastic. I would not mind staying here again if I return to Ronda.

We stayed there for 2 nights. The hotel was charming, had a great location. The room was big and comfortable, with amazing views. The breakfast was good, but you have to make a reservation when you arrive at the reception. The staff was helpful. One small thing that it might be bad, even though the hotel had his private parking but paid for the parking, 20 euro per night.

One of the crowns of the government owned Parador Hotels, this remarkable remake of a prior century building has very high ceilings, beautifully detailed rooms, a wonderful high end restaurant, cafe, underground parking and attentive staff. VIEWS FROM EVERY WINDOW of this 'edge of gorge' hotel in Ronda. Highly recommed

COVID Beware.
We stayed two nights and all in all, an excellent stay, BUT...
My wife questioned the warning on there booking invoice of mask wearing and COVID.
When we arrived and departed, we asked about the COVID warning and we were told of a rise in COVID in Spain.
We eat, and slept at the the Parador for breakfast and evening meals and it's difficult to lay blame.
It's a very, very busy hotel with no one wearing masks as per there warnings.
I left with COVID and will probably pass it onto my wife as we share our journey through Spain.
I strongly suspect I contracted it at the Parador, so be warned.....

Great service throughout my stay. Delicious breakfast. Food ordered in the main floor lounge was less impressive. However, be sure to enjoy wine in the lounge overlooking the gorge.
