I had a confirmed reservation with Booking.com and the pseudo-frontdesk staff didn't know how to access the hotel booking system or the PIN of the telephone so he didn't know which room was available, he tried to call his boss/manager but there were no answer. So I after 20 minutes of loosing time, I had to look for a different hotel.
If you pay peanuts you get monkeys.
Those are the facts.
Now, If I were to bet I would guess that the on-duty staff didn't even have a formal work contract.

Absolute TOP Hotel... very nice and friendly owner and personal.

Really lovely hotel. Great location, helpful staff, and the rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Love that you can help yourself to a cup of tea/bottle of water just outside the room. There's also a great place to eat round the corner called La Bodegueta d'en Ferrer.

Wonderful small hotel. Very welcoming reception. Extremely helpful. Flexible when we asked for earlier breakfast to catch a bus. And great English-speaking. Room was a good size with 2 sides with windows. Spotless room and bathroom. Everything looks new. Desk and 2 chairs in room . A nice little package for bathroom necessities given, too. Delightful, interesting decor. Honor system gives you bottle of water each day...nice touch. Very complete breakfast with good service. Would go back anytime!

Hotel Oma is very nice and nearby the beach. Has a lovely roof terrace with view over the city and sea

Perfect little boutique hotel close to the sea. Rooms were clean and new. Nice air conditioning and free bottles of water per room. Easy access to all places in this town. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace which is a lovely touch.

The room was excellent and the homey attention was even better. I would gladly come back as the experience was worth every penny. The terrace was beautiful and the included breakfast was amazing. 10/10

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel OMA! It's a beautiful place, with a great cafe downstairs and an incredibly warm, kind, and truly helpful staff. The room itself was sparkling clean and well appointed, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The balcony came with a great view of the town and the water in the distance. There's a cafe downstairs that offers delicious meals as well. You cannot go wrong booking a stay here!
