Rooms were deliciously cold with great air conditioning after a very hot day in Seville. Beds quite hard though.
Rooms clean and with everything needed.
Pool on roof is very very small and really just for plunging. Not large enough for swimming and with no shade, its a perfect place to burn. The opening hours are also quite limited for a one night visit...
Visited the roof and thought the view was lovely across the park. A nice place to take a drink before venturing out for dinner...
Our corner room was spacious and kept very clean, with plenty of towels. The window was frosted, and looked out onto other windows but, to be fair, we didn't spend much time in the room, and it wasn't too much of an issue.
The mattress was firmer than I'm used to, but I slept better than I sleep at home, so perhaps I need a re-think!
The Santa Cruz area is a few minutes walk away, through the Jardins de Murillo.
There is a rooftop terrace with pool and bar, and great views.
The view was everything we asked for !
Noteworthy detail: rooms can become very noisy as the doors are not that sound proofed. So if there are kids when you're there, it could be painful in the mornings.
The hotel should be given a maximum of 1 star!! Very mediocre interiors with no character, very bad customer service and an average product.
Bed room mattress is very uncomfortable. No mini bar, no safe-box, AC has obnoxious sound, tea coffee set up with no connection, very poor quality of amenities. Flies in room!! Nothing in room has been appointed with giving a sensible thought. Rooms have very bad sound insulation, at night it feels like one is sleeping on the street, with lightest of the noise coming from the street. One cannot have a good sleep!!
Mediocre breakfast with no service.
The only good thing about the hotel is its location. However I feel there are umpteen options available near by at a better rate. So stay away!!!!!
Edit (two weeks after initial post): The hotel has refused to respond to our requests to show us proof of their "original email" where they gave us advanced warning. They have stopped responding at all via both email and WhatsApp. For the record, the credit card we used to book this hotel was the same we'd used to book all our other accommodations and had absolutely no issues throughout our entire time in Spain with that card. This hotel and its management should feel shameful.
