Hotel Pintor El Greco in Toledo

Could not recommend this hotel higher. Beautifully renovated historic building and incredible staff.

First the staff was super nice and helpful! Also in a great location and was able to walk to majority of key attractions we wanted to see. Bed was a bit hard but was not a major issue!

Property is high on a hill with great views; has a small park right outside. El Greco museum right next door.

Toledo could have been better.
We enjoyed our stay, clean and comfy room, nice restaurant and friendly staff. However like much of Europe, no AC and the room was hot. Said it was still winter so only heat would work. Shouldn't advertise that they have AC, we even filtered for that on our hotel selection to make sure we had AC. The hotel online also advertised they had a bar and it was closed the whole time, the restaurant wasn't always open to be able to get a drink.

The room for two nights was a good size with a comfortable bed, it was quiet and the was bathroomwas also a good size. The hotel is very unique, like a boutique hotel which is what we desired. The staff is very kind and accommodating. The breakfast had a great variety of fresh choices. It is located in the Old Jewish Quarter of Town within walking distance of most of the historical sights and shopping areas. Highly recommend this hotel.

It’s a perfect hotel , the room is clean , comfort and has a good view. The hotel is close to everything in Toledo and near the lake . The best thing that they made an excellent breakfast but the dinner I don’t recommend.
Highly recommend to try it .

The hotel is in a good location, right next to the El Greco Museum, and there are many restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room is quite stylish, but the flow of shower water is a bit small.

We love this hotel. We travel a lot internationally and the fact that I remembered this hotel from a trip 26 years ago says something about it.

We stayed here when we were in Toledo in 1998, and they still had a record of our stay. As a show of appreciation, we found a complimentary bottle of wine and sweets in our room.

The rooms are spacious by European standards and the beds are very comfortable. Clean well situated, and a friendly staff makes for a winning combination.

With regard to the staff, I love that they don’t reply to me in English when I speak Spanish. I don’t know if it’s that they want to show their language ability, but I find most Spaniards (and French) will respond in English even though my Spanish (and French) are more than passable.

I know May folks may Toledo a day trip from Madrid, but stay the night and stay Hotel Pintor El Greco.

We were very happy with our choice. Next to the El Greco museum, less than a 10 minute walk to the 2 major synagogues and monastery. Spacious, clean, and beautiful rooms with hand crafted wooden furniture, large windows, and tiled floors. INCREDIBLE breakfast - table linen dining with a buffet that includes chocolate con churros, jamón de bellota, chorizo ibérico, tortilla, pastries, various breads, fruit, champagne, fresh squeezed orange juice, etc. We noticed and appreciated all of the details.
