They even have a free shuttle to the airport. The staff was helpful and friendly.
A good breakfast, which could be a bit better though in matters of diversity, but that for me was secondary.

Plenty of bars & restaurants 10-15 minutes walk away.
Room could have done with a couple of finishing touches, decoratively, but it was a good size & very comfortable.
While the location is quiet and fairly central, the property is falling apart: lacking of the basics, from fading painting, rust everywhere and DIRTY VERY VERY DIRTY.
The sense of hospitality is just not there: not a polite welcoming word, not a smile from the reception staff and all the staff we met during our stay.
Breakfast is terrible: old (spoiled) fruit and cheap snaks served, while a waiter with a trolley and trash bin goes around the tables, while people have breakfast.
To sum up: if you have any basic standards, avoid this place.
The hotel is aged and it shows.
It was excellent value for money and very conveniently located for our purposes.
The room was clean and in decent shape.
The common areas were kept clean although not always maintained to a high standard.
Staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. It’s also pretty convenient if you’re flying in or out of Madrid — close to the airport and easy to get around.
Overall, a solid and peaceful place to stay without breaking the bank.

The breakfast buffet was varied and extensive, and you could order an omelet or freshly made bacon. The capsule coffee machine was delicious, and there were three types of juice to choose from.
