I had the pleasure of staying here for several days. While it is an older property, it is impeccably maintained. The rooms were spotless and the staff were all absolutely lovely.
Also the cafeteria is so pleasant and a great place to start your day with nice coffee and smiling staff!

Breakfast ok Good starr to the Camino but would helpful if they spoke English in the restaurant. Would be helpful if it was self service.

A great little hotel, clean tidy and well placed for the old town, restaurants and bars. Very helpful staff.

A little gem of a hotel. Very helpful receptionists. Rooms very clean and bathrooms look newly renovated and great shower. Breakfast was adequate. Possible to park in secure car park at small extra charge. Great location.

Charming little hotel on a quiet street near the water. Great for walkers on the Portuguese camino. Good coffee, adequate breakfast, helpful staff. Comfy room and bed, great shower. Helpful people on the front desk. Recommended

Kind people. Nice rooms but some have really bad view. Breakfast great! Fresh fruits juices, fresh pastry. Very very good.

Ideal location for accessing the old town and the port. Good breakfast in the bar area cooked on ordering. Well maintained and scrupulously clean - great place to stay!

My partner and I are hiking the Portuguese Camino. It's always a guess as to the quality of lodgings you find along the way. Hotel Compostela did not disappoint! The staff was very friendly and hospitable. The room was clean and comfortable and well priced. Our bathroom was spacious and even came with a full size tub - a luxury on Day 7 of the Camino! Finally, the hotel is located within easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops and farmacias. Five stars!

It's a joy to stay in this hotel even for one night. First of all, the location is just right. The staff is helpful and friendly. And most of all it's immaculately clean, from the room to the linen and the towels.
