Nice hotel in Padron with air conditioning. Very nice staff at reception. Good value for money.

A bike friendly hotel for those doing the Caminho. You can store your bike in the lower service area securely. The staff was fry and there is a cafe and restaurant on site that allowed us to get food when we arrived without having to go back out in the rain. The breakfast was served early with lots of continental options.

The blond lady at the reception was very rude and unpleasant. Didn’t even look me in the eyes when I asked something. Instead she just spoke rudely. I will not come back to any Scala Hotel.

This is a terrible hotel!!!
- location is terrible!
- smelly - terrible smell in an out the hotel
- the women at the front desk are aggressive and rude
- far from the city center with very limited taxis around
- air-condition was very noisy

Large modern hotel, conveniently located to the camino route. Overwhelmed somewhat by the very large number of guests, apart from camino walkers, Portuguese school football teams, and coach tours, making meal times somewhat institutional. It's saving grace was a nearby outdoor swimming pool with no staff, no umbrellas, (maybe 28 degrees in May is not expected) but so refreshing. Could do a lot better. Staff very stretched and stressed.

Comfortable hotel albeit bedroom is old fashioned, shower was fine. Friendly reception team. The food was good on my last visit & Marcos,the Head Waiter, is a great guy. Good choice for pilgrims as Camino de Santiago passes it.

My husband and I stayed here whilst doing the Camino from Porto to Santiago de Compostela. The Hotel is situated about 2km from Padron but right on the Camino trail, it will also make our day tomorrow shorter by about 2km which will be good for getting our pilgrim certificates. It has a lovely smell as you walk down the corridor. Our room was a little dated but a good size, it was clean and the beds were comfortable. It had a small TV which we managed to change the language to English. The bathroom had a bath, a hairdryer, and a shaving mirror. Breakfast was continental, it was very nice with a good choice. Staff were very efficient and friendly.

Large but impersonal hotel. Good sized room. Bed a bit firm for me. Garden lovely but pool area only open in summer.
