Hotel silken axis Pros - good location, has parking, clean, helpful staff Cons - AC in room did not work, WiFi did not work, bathroom didn’t have a full door so no real privacy, no iron, we requested 2 twin beds but only queen bed available so had to sleep on a roll away bed which was not ideal for the price paid.

Expected a bit more. This did not feel like 4 stars. The pool was very small and closed while it is almost June. The hotel interior felt dated, lots of things like curtains and room furniture was worn out. The hotel is an okay option if you want to be relatively central and have low expectations.

Everything was very good, service, room, location, regarding the food I cannot rate since both breakfast, lunch and dinner were not at the hotel

Excellent place, service, location and staff.

It was a family trip with a long journey. We couldn't find a good hotel with an affordable price. But it is quite distanced from the city center though, the hotel was quite nice. The room was spacious (it was a bonus) and the bed was clean and soft. The room service was perfect, nothing to complain.

The location of the hotel is a bit remote, you have to take a taxi to go to the city center and the beach. The service is good but the design of the bathroom is a bit inconvenient~

Service: The service is warm and the lady at the front desk is very nice and patient in listening to your needs. Environment: Chinese 90s style decoration, more elevators which is more convenient Facilities: There is a bathtub and so on, but it is useless. The room is still relatively large.

We were very disappointed with our recent stay at this hotel (Room 210, April 13–14). Unfortunately, the experience was far from restful. The guests in the room directly above us (likely two Spanish men) were speaking loudly and even shouting until 3–4 am, making it impossible for us to sleep especially frustrating after a long day of walking the Camiño. Good service and excellent cleaning, highly recommended

Overall, the hotel is very complete. The room has very good views. A plus is that they have a bar service and you don't have to book the buffet breakfast.

Modern and Spacious Very friendly staff at reception. Well sized and presented room with all the features you would expect. Underground parking available at an adjacent public car park with a separate marked area for the Hotel allowing access straight from the car park to the Hotel. I only had breakfast and not an evening meal but the restaurant was superb with interesting views of the port.

The hotel is located far from the Old Town, in the commercial port. The area is not nice. The view from the room is depressing. There are no nice restaurants or cafés around, so walking to the the old town is the only solution. Mattresses were unnaceptable, I could feel the spring system on my back. On the positive note, after I complained about it they replaced it by a better one. Breakfast was fair. The bar was close on Fridays and Saturdays.

The hotel is well situated, in the heart of the city in a historic landmark. The room was wonderful, the staff helpful and friendly. A special word though for the breakfast, which had almost everything you could imagine, especially quite a selection of local specialities which I was delighted to try. Perfect location for walking around old vigo. Amazing staff. Helpful, pleasant, patient and full of of zeel. Even before our arrival, Marcos made us feel extremely welcome. I like this hotel very much. Although it is relatively old, the scenery is more beautiful.

Hotel is in a good location with paid parking. You can either park in the hotel parking (subject to availability and small) or park in the shopping mall in front of the hotel. Price is 18 EUR per 24 hours. My room wasn't very clean as I could still see lady hair on my pillows and its missing some amenities such as a kettle for water to drink tea.

The environment and hygiene are good

Good location next to the train station. The room was spacious, but only with a basic equipment and design ... and very bad noise isolation from outside as well as from other rooms. The breakfast was fine, but nothing special.

The hotel is very well located. That is the only good thing, as the facilities and furniture are not in line with the stars or price. We were unable to sleep at all due to the discomfort of the beds and pillows. The price paid does not match the facilities.

This hotel is very well located in the city center, spotlessly clean, and has a spotless bathroom. The breakfast is adequate, though not exceptional. However, the room is poorly soundproofed. The hotel's underground parking is convenient, but it's extremely difficult to maneuver due to its narrowness, and the daily rate of 16 euros is excessive.

Very good location, comfortable and very clean room. Friendly and efficient staff. We were able to have an early check in. I left my cell phone in the room at check out and they shipped it to Lisbon for me at a very reasonable cost. Very happy with their staff.

This was a superb choice of a hotel for our stay in Vigo. Beyond the facilities being great and the location super convenient, the best thing 1000% was the staff. They were always friendly and had the nicest details. Would recommend and stay again should we return to Vigo

Unexpected stop over I was injured during my Camino and had an unexpected stay in Vigo. The staff here was excellent. They took really great care of me. As a solo traveler who was not fluent in the language and having an injury the level of service and support made all the difference.

This place is a gorgeous restoration of a "Galician pazo" (a rural residence of the nobles in the Galician region). The main entrance depicts many armory shields (escudos, as the name of the place), 101 of them according to the details i found. The hotel offers a wonderful location, cosy rooms and fantastic staff. We went there with our company and it the team enjoyed a lot how central the hotel is. They also helped with reservation of good restaurants.

Absolutely basic hotel. No attempt at any service and great lengths have to be undertaken to find someone (for example we needed an iron). No room service available except on weekend evenings. Service level not at the bare minimum for the price in my opinion

Of all the hotels we have stayed in our trip to Portugal and Spain, I must say this was the top in customer service. Staff was accomodating with our luggage and kept it secure since we arrived well before check-in. Staff was also immensely helpful with recommendations to beaches nearby and helped us make the nearby parking situation painless.

A good place, very closed to Vigo cruise Terminal and well served from public transport. This hotel has the best position to join on board of your cruise and, if possible to travel around Vigo's center.

The hotel staff was very helpful. The hotel location is excellent. The room and bathroom were clean. But the hotel needs a "deep facelift." The hotel facade was very dirty and neglected. The hotel window frames must have been 40 years old. In the bathroom, the bathtub, sink and toilet were also noticeably old.

It's right next to the train station. You can take the elevator out of the train station and walk to the busiest commercial street in a few minutes.
