The resort has wonderful installations, among which many pools and leads straight to the beach. We graded food at 8 out of 10. All these aspects helped mitigate the myriad of technical issues we have encountered, which lead to two room changes over a 5 night stay. I've gone Melia Atlanterra for a wedding, so all I can say is that the event's being beautiful, and the food is so good!

very lovely hotel, we got upgraded to a suite, the staff is very accomodating. the garden area with bar, pools and couches for relaxing is lovely. it is quite close to the beach (~5 minutes from the room) but not directly beachside, thus only 4 stars in that category.

Overall a very nice hotel not too far from the beach. We were there in June and it wasn't crowded. The pool area is very nice to relax or have a good time at the pool bar. Breakfast could be better, but was good for the price of the room.

We had a wonderful stay in a great room. Very modern and super comfortable bed. We had booked the premium room with terrace. This was a good choice as no one could look into your room from the street (Rooms in 1st floor are on street level). Very near to the sea and walking distance to "city centre" with restaurants.

We were very frustrated in the morning because we couldn't eat breakfast until 9 and couldn't check out until 10 but weren't told either fact when reserving or checking in. No one even showed up at the desk until 10:20 to check us out, and the line was three groups deep by then. The room was nice but the other stuff really soured our experience.

Beautiful dreamy place. Good for dog-owners. There is a beach bar with good music and a 'high-society' crowd, which makes you feel like on some sort of Hawaiian or Californian beach. The only downside are the ubiquitous kite-surfers, some of whom seem to be quite incosiderate about other beach goers with their kites and the wires attaching them falling dangerously on the beach. We have just spent three wonderful days at Tarifa staying in this very nice hotel. The Asian touch and the beautiful weather makes you feel like being far, far away. An awesome stay in a green oasis, located in the walking distance from famous Valdevaqueros beach. The pool is a great place to hide from the wind if surfing is not your thing.

Apart from Basil Fawlty on reception, ( English will know this character) the hotel is great, no fuss, restaurant staff are great, breakfast was good had everything. Secure parking. Rooms immaculate. It is not walking distance from the old town so be prepared to drive. The is however a great restaurant 3 minutes walk at the end of the drive. Or use the hotel.

Nice and quiet place with a restaurant besides. Kitchen, dinning and sleeping room spaces, comfortable bed and facilities. The rooms are gorgeous and the food is good. The service at the restaurant isn't impressive, though. Very inefficient. There's a pool on the ground floor, a tiny infinity pool on the highest floor, and a decent sized jacuzzi. The hotel has a beach that is walking distance right behind, so well located.

Incredible hotel tucked away in the corner of tears by the harbour. Excellent services with a roof top swimming pool and a spa circuit in the basement. Super clean rooms and well equipped. Breakfast was one of the best I've had in Spain with loads of healthy options, fresh food and even champagne.

One of the cleanest hostels I've stayed at. The rooms and hostel looked new and was very functional. It provides a great stop if traveling across SPAIN AND NEED TO NAVIGATE AROUND MADRID. Costs are low and they have a great restaurant and the bar give absolutely great olives with drinks.

Had the aparment with two bedrooms. Very clean (although too strong odor from the cleaning liqud used), extermly friendly and helful staff. Very close is SuperSol supermarket. Dont expect to find parking in the frot of the hotel, however near ~50m you can easily find place. Noise from the dishwasher was almost not bearable. And you can not have it on while you are away, which means you have to hear...

Stayed here one night. Quick and easy check in with a lovely and friendly lady. Facilities in the room was perfect for short and long stays (fridge, tv, washing machine, air con, cooker, EVERYTHING.....). Minus one star for walls being thin and until late night we could hear the next door showering and washing dishes.
