Lietsu Boutique Apart Hotel turned out to have everything it promised on the website. Central location in Joensuu, but no traffic noise. Air conditioning in the room ensured us a good night sleep. All essential items were available in the room for cooking, with additional carefully selected items like ground coffee instead of instant coffee, dishwasher washing tablets and laundry liquid for washmachine in the bathroom. Our room was very clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The breakfast with Carelian delicacies was served in the hotel " lobby". The hotel concept is based on self service apart from some additional pre-ordered services like breakfast. At check- in you get an access code to doors. You mainly only meet the personnel at check-in and breakfast. We were very satisfied with our one night stay in Lietsu hotel and would warmly recommend it to others who are looking for a hotel in Joensuu.

Lovely staff, nice rooms and a great breakfast buffet. They also went the extra mile for our baby, when they added things to the room that made our stay easier. The rooms had great AC and blackout curtains so we could sleep great even though it was a horrendus heat wave going on!

Fantastic service, central location and cozy atmosphere. The Carelian theme is a nice touch and adds to the friendly vibe of the place. For sports enthusiasts it’s useful to note that there’s a high quality commercial gym downstairs in the same building. The opening hours are very good and the range of equipment is broad (free weights, machines, cardio).

This is a perfect accommodation for business travel. It gives you the comfort of your own home with all the facilities needed (kitchen, washing machine). It also includes a medium sized sauna overlooking the river, which is perfect for unwinding after a long day. Moreover, on the ground floor of the same building you will also have a gym, with basic machines etc. The location could not be better. Opposite the building you have a supermarket in order to fill the fridge, and next to it, a shopping mall and the most interesting restaurants and bars. All reachable within a 5 min walking distance. The service is very kind and helpful. They helped me to book a weekend trip to the skying resort in Koli. Currently there is a very convenient sky bus shuttle which picks up people in the morning and returns the same day to Joensuu. This bus is available till April. I can only highly recommend Lietsu boutique Aparthotel! Thanks a lot!

So cozy and clean, nicely furnished in a traditional Finnish (Karelian) style. Staff and owners are always available for a nice chat and are ready to help with your questions. The hotel is quiet although it is located in the town center of Joensuu, as the rooms are in the fifth floor. There is only ten minutes walk from the railway station. There is market place and grocery store just round the corner. The rooms have fully equipped kitchen and private bathroom. Not to forget the "luxury breakfast" with local specializes and delicacies.

I recommend it without reservations! Clear concept, excellent service and the best location in Joensuu! Particularly noteworthy are the cleanliness, elegance and functionality of the rooms!

Nice hotel with great local flair. Quite new rooms in good condition. Private parking is quite small and the family room could use bigger bins for rubbish (diapers...). Check-in and check-out can be done remotely without having to see the staff.

I don't remember because I would have received such good customer service and I was happy with the stay anyway. Clean, comfortable and versatile rooms that would be good to stay in even on a long business trip.

I spent one night at the hotel on a work journey. This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in comparison to dozens of hotels worldwide. Very cosy and perfectly managed. The lady at the reception was just amazing, so kind and friendly. Definitely the Lietsu will be my first choice in the future and I highly recommend it. You will never be disappointed.
