I recommend it without reservations! Clear concept, excellent service and the best location in Joensuu! Particularly noteworthy are the cleanliness, elegance and functionality of the rooms!

Nice hotel with great local flair. Quite new rooms in good condition. Private parking is quite small and the family room could use bigger bins for rubbish (diapers...). Check-in and check-out can be done remotely without having to see the staff.

I don't remember because I would have received such good customer service and I was happy with the stay anyway. Clean, comfortable and versatile rooms that would be good to stay in even on a long business trip.

The hotel is great! My room was clean and had everything I needed in the kitchen and the toilet room. Access to the building and the room is by the code so you don't need to carry any keys with you which is convenient.
They have awesome breakfasts. You have to eat karjalanpiirakka and salmon and vatrushka and sultsina 😋
I took a bicycle from the hotel reception and was exploring the city on the bike. It is very convenient and bike roads are everywhere. Also I used their sauna. It is another thing you must do. The sauna has a great window view from the top floor. Kiitos!

Had a wonderful one night stay. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the room was super clean and comfortable with a nice view of the river. We plan to stay there again on our way back south from Lapland. The breakfast was excellent and a good value for €10.

Excellent location near the middle of town along a picturesque river and park. Nice efficient room designs with a small kitchenette and washing machine in the room. Very good breakfast including local pastries, oatmeal and berries, eggs and smoked salmon. They have a very nice sauna facility that you can reserve for your private use. The staff is also very welcoming and helpful. I've stayed there twice for a week each time and highly recommend it.

We stayed for two nights, and it was an enjoyable stay for us—tidy rooms equipped with a washing machine and kitchenette. The sauna can be privately used with reservation, and the gym downstairs is easily accessible and opens early. The heartwarming Karelian breakfast is very nice. We definitely will stay again when we stay at Joensuu.

Room was tiny, but it at least had air conditioning. Bed was just okay, pillows were worse. There was a loud door down the corridor that slammed every time it was shut; it woke us several times. Parking was atrocious; if their tiny adjacent lot is full, you have to park 400m away in a garage. Breakfast was okay. Overall, it was a nice place, but not quite four-star.
