Excellent hotel, good food. Facilities are still under construction so most likely worthy of 5 stars when fully complete.

Hotels like Sokos, but this was a disappointment. Will start with the cons: the room did not clean the floors in a shower of ice( the result of a sore throat), when taking a shower,water poured on the floor of the entire shower, Slippers in the room are also missing, old, sometimes broken furniture. It’s a good hotel with very favorable location. The rooms are small but cozy. There is basically everything you need but… breakfast is not that good. There are all sort of things but in the end not that tasty and I come out from the breakfast still hungry. And it’s easy to get lost in the hotel.

A nice hotel in a good location. Room price includes access to sauna department which has a nice yacuzzi. Right in the middle of Joensuu, bonus points for a friendly 24/7 reception.

Spent here one night in winter. The building old, but the room was nice and warm. The double bed was comfy, but bathroom was tiny. I had a good night's sleep. TV was new and the wifi was fast and uninterrupted. The garage is in the same building, grocery store as well. Pharmacy is just across the road.

god bed, bedroom is new and clean, team is very cordial and helpful. In city downtown. I recomend it.

City hotel in the town centre Good location, easy to park into hotel's backyard, nice modernized rooms and kind service. We didn't like our superior room was a bit loudy and dusty. If you are interested in gym you can buy a ticket to neighbor gym for a reasonable price.

Slap bang in the middle of Joensuu with all the necessities nearby. Cumulus Joensuu was very tourist friendly with great staff and spacious clean rooms. Parking was a bit confusing at first.

Centrally located hotel with very clean and cozy rooms, comfy beds, and a nice breakfast buffet. Best hotel in town in my experience!

Our dog is always well taken into account, for example. we got a small bag with dog products and reception of even the towel I dog use. Dog the room was fine and clean.

Absolutely terrible internet service. No connection in the rooms and even in the lobby it is spotty. Unacceptable by today's standards

Stayed in a triple room for two nights. The room was clean, spacious and well light. Decent breakfast. The key-card machine was very useful for late arrivals.

Very tidy and clean budget hotel. Modern appliances, renowated room, good beds, no noise from other rooms or from outside, good free wifi. Right at the City center, close to the trainstation. If you are looking for an affordable hotel this is a good choice. Breakfast buffet was decent and with the pricing in mind even excellent.

A very convenient location. The staff is friendly. The rooms are clean. Liked that has its own covered Parking.

I have not found flaws in the room. May be, except that it would be more convenient if there was another chair or armchair.

The hotel is great! My room was clean and had everything I needed in the kitchen and the toilet room. Access to the building and the room is by the code so you don't need to carry any keys with you which is convenient. They have awesome breakfasts. You have to eat karjalanpiirakka and salmon and vatrushka and sultsina 😋 I took a bicycle from the hotel reception and was exploring the city on the bike...

Had a wonderful one night stay. The staff couldn’t be nicer and the room was super clean and comfortable with a nice view of the river. We plan to stay there again on our way back south from Lapland. The breakfast was excellent and a good value for €10.

Excellent location near the middle of town along a picturesque river and park. Nice efficient room designs with a small kitchenette and washing machine in the room. Very good breakfast including local pastries, oatmeal and berries, eggs and smoked salmon. They have a very nice sauna facility that you can reserve for your private use. We stayed for two nights, and it was an enjoyable stay for us—tidy rooms equipped with a washing machine and kitchenette. The sauna can be privately used with reservation, and the gym downstairs is easily accessible and opens early. The heartwarming Karelian breakfast is very nice. We definitely will stay again when we stay at Joensuu.

Room was tiny, but it at least had air conditioning. Bed was just okay, pillows were worse. There was a loud door down the corridor that slammed every time it was shut; it woke us several times. Parking was atrocious; if their tiny adjacent lot is full, you have to park 400m away in a garage. Breakfast was okay. Overall, it was a nice place, but not quite four-star.

I stayed on the weekend of Mar 5/6, 2022. This is a new aparthotel in the old postal services building whose fourth and fifth floor have been completely renovated for the purpose. Other occupants include a public gym whose services are available to hotel guests at bargain rates. You couldn't really get any more central in Joensuu than this. It's a good place to start for anything when you're around...

A good beach and comfortable facilities..BUT nothing more than serving breakfast, you had to go to the local store to get dinner. Although the place is for sale, was it because of that?

Overall Amazing place, only stayed for food, didn't test the hotel side, food was excellent and staff was funny and service was fast, i ate a burger and a chocolate cake myself, both were good and warm, i would recommend this place for a visit, it even has a history behind it

We have stayed here a few times in the summer. The last night was a bit difficult. It was very hot at night and the construction work started at seven in the morning. Air conditioning is absolutely necessary when it's a warm summer. The place is affordable.

Nice and clean place! We make good pan pizza downstairs! The only minus is that smoking is allowed in front of the main door, so smoke sometimes comes in through the window.

The room's door code didn't work and to open the door you had to call the security company, which did help in solving the problem right away. Otherwise, a comfortable hotel.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation. The facilities have been renovated, but the toilet/shower facilities are a bit shabby. However, a special mention of the shower downstairs, with a ceiling nozzle and sufficient water pressure. It was enjoyable to shower. The soundscape is noisy. Clean, we were in a two-person apartment right near the center of Joensuu, a small fridge, a separate kitchen shared by the customers, with a dishwasher, coffee and kettle, microwave, toilet. Limited parking space for cars in the courtyard. Staying 75e, parking fee was 15e. There was no need to fear that someone would punch the car.
