Location: in the village of Leppävirta, 50 km from Kuopio, 70 km from the airport Kuopio.

Consists of a 5-storey main building and 4 cottages.

We stayed at Vesileppis twice this time. At the second visit, we realized we were in an older room, smaller, worn rug at the door with access by an older elevator. At the first visit, we ascended by a pleasant new elevator to a very pleasant room. The swimming pool is lovely, but I suggest calling the hotel for a room in the newer suggestion. The service was very pleasant.

The rooms are not great. Too noisy and a little old and dirty but the staff are very friendly and helpful in general.

Basic rooms. No fridge in my room. The cleaning rooms can improve. Moomin and pools is fun with kids.

We visited only in moomi cave, we have no opinion of hotel/spa. From cave you can get proper cold temperature cloths, this does not include shoes. There are also something else than just ice sculptures down there. tickets can be bought from lobby.

It would be fine for an 80 euro hotel, but for a 150 euro hotel it's a massive disappointment. The "spa" it's more like a noisy swimming hall, the rooms are worn out and the breakfast is of old gas station quality. No AC in the room and the restaurant and the "spa" close early (even during peak season). I cannot recommend for anyone looking for high-quality accommodation. As a place for a quick sleep on the way somewhere, it's fine, but there are many cheaper options available.

Nice place and great breakfast very busy thub but other pools weren't busy and there was 25 Meter long pool that was 125cm deep and there was gold pool between temperatures between 10-8 celcius but If u live moomins this IS a great place for you

rooms we're dirty, my friend had previous visitors trash on some shelves, walls had so much dirt on them, walls we're so thin we heard everything from rooms (example) 345 to 347

Nice place with kids to go, specially during Moomin ice cave time. Good lunch buffet.

- cold and confusing welcoming
- room doesn't include minibar, bathrobe (for the spa!), hair dryer :(
- wifi free but insanely slow!
- double bed had 2 different-height mattresses. Not so comfy for a couple!
- restaurant food quite tasteless
- not much to do in the evening
- quite disorganized reception
- The price is definitely TOO high for what you get! Within 100km from there you can find way better spas and services (with awesome settings!) for the same price!

+ Nice walking paths and landscapes around the hotel
+ Really nice for nordic skiers
+ the Ice Cave with ice sculptures was really beautiful
+ Breakfast was one of the best I have ever had in hotels. Big choice, fresh food and really tasty... a part from the orange juice: stay away from that...
+/- no hair dryer in the room but a whole ironing set... is that useful?
