Lapland Hotels Oulu in Oulu

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable — a real pleasure to come back to after a day out. The highlight, however, was definitely the breakfast: a fantastic selection of fresh, high-quality options that made every morning a treat.

The only downside was the room temperature. Unfortunately, it couldn’t be lowered below 20°C, which made it a bit too warm for my personal preference, especially at night.

Overall, a great experience and I would definitely recommend it — especially if you value a top-notch breakfast and stylish rooms.

Great hotel with a lot of aesthetically appealing pleasing Finnish cues and decor. Had a good time there.

After staying a week:
The reception was fantastic and very professional, very informative and helpful in every way.

The restaurant: very limited in the menu and had simplistic food plus pairing of wine was moderately well done which left much to be wanted. Breakfast was fantastic and as expected only. The food was substantially alright and not particularly spectacular in any way. The waiters and waitresses were mild with service and were overall lackluster for such an esteemed place. Reindeer of the week is more like reindeer of the month as I had it twice, one in one week and another the next week hoping it would have changed and this was not the case unfortunately, unimaginative and underwhelming for the price it was willfully unfulfilling and not at all satisfying portion wise, was left hungry leaving the restaurant.

The accommodation: was spectacular, the room well done , housekeeping did fantastic. The building was quite noisy from hearing doors constantly slamming. The bathrooms were particularly wonderful surprisingly. Though there was no private balcony as it stared down the restaurant below.

The rooms are decorated with very nice, Scandinavian touches. The breakfast was the best one we got in all of Scandinavia. And the hotel has 3 bikes which you can ride for free. Discovering Oulu by bike was the best thing we could do.

Very nice hotel. I loved the room. It was clean and very nice. The meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner were very good as well. The staff were pretty nice and the service was quick.

Very nice hotel. Room was fairly small but very comfortable. Nice bed, and good shower too. Great breakfast choices, will definitely return whenever I'm next in Oulu.

Beautiful rooms not far from amazing shopping and restaurant. Loved the smell of the soap, lotion, and hand cream. Even bought some. Tried the reindeer dish for the first time and it was delicious. I really enjoyed my stay here and the food with service was immaculate. Perfect hotel at the best location in town to walk and see the sights and do some shopping. No vehicle necessary here. Right in the middle of everything.
