Hotel location is located in the city centre, very quiet place, all basic, as we just stayed for one night …. Washroom shower was all leaking … not a good experience so almost water everywhere and I think it should maintain properly as they charge us fully … as well as no hair Dryer in the room since it is a hotel room and I guess that is most likely important…. Such a bad experience for 3 ⭐ hotel tbh …. 🙂🙂🙂

Hotel location is strategic at the heart of the city, but we're struggling with the entrance of the hotel, the map said it's arrived, we saw the sign of the hotel but we can't find the door of the hotel, we asked to people around they dont have any idea even the food stall's seller which the stall right under the hotel's sign. It was an evening hour and snow is heavly pouring. I decided to walk around the building and found the entrance, it was behind the building.
The hotel is a bit old, the good thing is they have a parking lot, so it helps alot, especially in winter time.

Ideally located in Porvoo, this basic, no frills, self-service hotel room was quiet, spacious, clean, and comfortable. It is true that the pillows were children size, but we brought our own. The breakfast was very basic and would have been much better if the bread selection had been more varied and exotic.

Average hotel in centre of Porvoo - there is no reception- entrance behind the hotel beside the bins. The Hotel is grim - sort of cheap and gloomy- breakfast was OKish but really in 2024 its not up to stratch. I cannot recommend this hotel.

After staying here for the last 3years whilst we visit a local supplier I have decided that enough is enough!!!
The reception is no more. The confirmation for the rooms was sent to our travel agent and ended up in their spam so we had no way to get into the hotel without this. After waiting in the cold out side for 30 minutes we were then let in by another guest who had the same issue as us but the day before. The explained to call the receptionist on a number. This took another 30 minute to connect. As you can imagine we were pretty annoyed at this point.
After explaining our situation the chap on the other end of the phone was not apologetic but asked us to write down 3x 6digit numbers for our rooms. He said he would resend the confirmation to my Mobile number.
That took some 2 hrs to come later.
The hotel itself has seen better days, very basic rooms with a even less impressive breakfast. Rubber cheese and dried out ham.
Will I return or recommend- NO

If you are looking for a flash modern hotel with stamp size rooms this is not for you. It is an older hotel with spacious clean rooms, a superb breakfast and friendly service. It doesn't gleam or shine but offers an excellent central location at a reasonable price. We only stayed a night but would come back for a longer stay without hesitation. I booked it because elsewhere was full but it was a happy accident; would warmly recommend to friends and family. Nothing to complain about!

I was there for 10 days. The room was very big. Bed was comfortable, bathroom clean and warm. They were cleaning my room every day. The brekfast was served from 5:30! - that is really good and there was so many things to choose. The hotel is not modern but it is very cosy, people very helpful. And it is in centre of town. For sure I will come back!

Basic old hotel bat club. Better than a tent;-) But 24h reception, TV, Bus station in front of the building. In the city centre.
