Hostels in Tampere

A very popular hostel in the city. The staff is very nice. It is advisable to book in advance. I was on a spontaneous trip and, unfortunately, there was no place (with a favorable offer) for all days.

Pretty basic hostel in Tampere. To my research the cheapest possible acomodation. Late check in is possible. Breakfast does not have many options, but is of good quality.

It is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in! It has a good location, just next to the Tampere talo (where the famous Moomin museum resides) and walking distance to the train station. The hostel is well facilitated, and the bed is comfortable with power socket easily accessible. It is clean, not noisy and with good atmosphere. And it has free coffee :)

Great place to stay. Booked one of the most affordable beds and have no complaints whatsoever. Staff was super friendly and professional, room was nice, everything is well kept and organized. I especially enjoyed the common area with the kitchen, there's also boardgames and books - felt like I was staying at a friend's house and met only nice people :) Location is good, too. Tidiest hostel I've ever been. Dorms are in brilliant conditions, own toilet and bathroom in the dorm, enough luggage space. Very comfortable place to stay within short walking distance from the city centre.

Affordable stay in simple but very good feeling atmosphere, very nice crew, tasty breakfast and brunch, with a little bit of hipster credibility :)

Rooms are comfortable and beds sleep good. Great view when you are on the highest floors. I do miss a real closet. When staying for 9 nights, a closed closet would give the fifth star.

Above average Hotel in central location. After Torni hotel started this has been more affordable. Breakfast is among the best in this city. Great selection and fresh ingredients. Views are also great from the room. Dogs are also welcome and they give each dog visitor a small bag full of goods and there is also dog bed and other accessories in the room.

If you would have to describe the hotel with one word: outdated. Unfortunately the beautiful scenery of Pyynikki and the lake Pyhäjärvi is not able to cover the fact that there have not been many updates to this former 4-star hotel. The hotel corridors remind you of a spa from the 80’s and the rooms would need a refresh. A nice location though

I was there for only three night and the weather was terrible except for the first day. I went for a walk and I saw a beautiful environment around the Hotel, The lake, the beach and walking plays in the middle of the nature. The rooms were clean, spacious and in good order. The hotel has a gym and sauna and is near the beach.

A good hotel for big meetings & conferences. Older hotel but the rooms have been renovated. Not a ideal location for the city visit. 2-3 km from city center.

Perfect lication for transit. Right next to the entral train station and also airport bus stop. So was ideal for us. The room and the bed were OK. Hotel has sauna, however, we did not have time to attend. As we were leaving during the night to catch early morning flight we received a breakfast for takeaway.

Good hotel and very central in the city of Tampere. Only downside was that they do not have hotel slippers nor a water cooker in the room. Great breakfast and great dinner! In reply to the feedback of Scandic: I stayed 9 nights with you. On three occasions I have asked staff for those slippers, all three negative answers. So do not reply to me that it was possible. Fact is: It was not.

Silent rooms. Elevator capacity too low, long wait times. Poor quality beds and smallish rooms. Too hot in the room and adjusting the thermostat did not help. Good breakfast buffet. Great location!

This is a nice hotel with a great staff. Every person I talked to was more than willing to help me out with directions or suggestions when I asked. They had a taxi ready for me everyday at the time I asked. They even gave me a little gift for Christmas which was very thoughtful and not something I expected. You don't find such a nice Courtyard very often, I was surprised on how nice this hotel was. Only drawback is that policy where they only clean rooms every third day, you expect a nice and clean room each night when staying at a hotel.

It will be better if the hotel can provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Otherwise it is a nice hotel to stay.

I don’t know how to inform about this to google, but Marriotts own site says they’re actually a 4-star hotel. Google says its only a 3-star hotel.

Room and service is amazing! Also you can get complimentary popcorn, which is surprisingly so good. All staff are so kind and polite, especially Ms. Enna helped me a lot to have a good travel plan and I appreciate it:) I’d like to stay here next time I stay Tampere!

This review is only for Bar & Kitchen at Courtyard Tampere city since I visit this place only for lunch. As a lunch place Coutryards bar&kitchen has relaxing & comfy atmosphere to have lunch with your friends.

I can follow the words of a conversation from another room and they are speaking in normal not-raised tones. Yikes. I’d expect a little bit of privacy in a hotel, especially if the room is somewhat expensive (7th floor). This is less isolated than a regular apartment building.

We stayed here 9th to 14th March 2023. A fantastic hotel! It has a really nice feel to the place. Nice small hotel. Only minus is that breakfast is served in the restaurant of the hotel Torni nearby. That is rushy and noisy. However, the hotel Villa itself is nice.

At the beginning of Hämeenkatu(railway station end) Short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Room were ok, rather old though. Breakfast room is small and complex.

I felt very comfortable here. Nice breakfast with varieties of choices. Service personnels were all very kind and professional. Most importantly, they dont have this typical ventilator that runs 24 hours making room really dry. Had to ask for a change of sheets, there were make up stains all over the blanket. floor in sleeping area was covered with hairs, stains of liquids on the small table. one day there was no room service at all. staff at frontdesk was very friendly and helpful, but the cleaning team could be more precise.

For this price we got much better hotel in the center of Helsinki. To get in after 20.00 it took us several phone calls to get the keys and access codes. Breakfast quite poor and neighborhood consisting in a fuel station and parking lot.

Solid inexpensive hotel. Location is not that great: it's between busy road and a gas station. But it's not too far from everything, have good wi-fi, free breakfast and free parking.

Very modern take on a hotel with no checkin and reception. My code came early meaning I could checkin early. The room was pleasant and fairly big with all of the things necessary such as hair drier and iron.

Then, the corridors and a room: nice and in a good shape, although you could find here and there some worn spots (but only after you have specifically looked for these!).
