Where to stay in Tampere

Good place near to the station go visit up 25 floor moro cofe but don't drink cofee i like the buffet in the hotel restaurant its was good 15.30 € lunch i think !

Room was transfered from willa to Torni for the same price. The rooms was way better with a nice bathtub. The blackout curtains are a wonder. Would come again 100%

Decent hotel in the close proximity of Tampere city center. Rooms fairly small but generally good quality. Very basic breakfast and slightly crowded. The variety of food at breakfast is very limited. Do not touch the scrambled eggs, it is more like salty oatmeal porridge.

A very nice hotel attached to the Nokia Arena. Very clean and comfy rooms. One very small niggle. Service speed in the bar/restaurant was a little slow. All staff from reception to restaurant to room cleaners were very polite and professional.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast selection is super. I had a lovely walk in the nature protection area. The views from the Pyynikki tower are gorgeous. I also walked to the city center which is also within a walking distance.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature. Plenty of free parking spots. Delicious breakfast. The room was spacious and clean. But the pillow in the bed was not the best. A nice pool but the water was a bit too cold.

Lovely, clean hotel with excellent location right by the railway station. Quiet rooms which is a big plus. Great breakfast is actually one of the main reasons I usually choose this hotel when I'm in Tampere.

Nice rooms, which seem to have been recently renovated. Also, it's very quiet. Even when we had room facing the major road, no traffic noise was heard.

The facility was very clean and the breakfast was delicious with local food. It was also within walking distance to the central station.

Stayed a week for a business trip. Nice sauna and decent vegan breakfast options. Breakfast can be a bit busy at times. The walk to the next tram station is a few minutes uphill. Would stay again next time I'm in Tampere. My only complaint would be that the doors close very loudly and you can hear pretty much every door on the floor.

This is a Scandic hotel at it’s best! The staff is really helpful and are doing everything they can to help. Thanks for a splendid stay.

The hotel is just... meh, so-so. The rooms are pretty normal but the bathroom is super stylish. Pillows not good - I had to take the pillow from the other bed and a sweater in order to have enough pillow. Superb hotel, very recent and very cumfortable. The price is also very interesting. However, it is a little bit remote from the centre, and you will also have to do with the medical atmosphere (this is not exactly a place for partying)

We had good time with family although there was few things that could be better. No slippers on the room, ancient tv. Apartment otherwise was well equipped and easy access to pool and restaurant area from inside.

Spa is ok but dated very much in the early 90's in design especially the dressing cubicles.

I think the experience was good and we plan to come along with the kids during the summer holidays. Otherwise, it would have been beyond bounds if our request for a double bed was considered.

Busy hotel food very expensive

Rooms are comfortable and beds sleep good. Great view when you are on the highest floors. I do miss a real closet. When staying for 9 nights, a closed closet would give the fifth star.

Above average Hotel in central location. After Torni hotel started this has been more affordable. Breakfast is among the best in this city. Great selection and fresh ingredients. Views are also great from the room. Dogs are also welcome and they give each dog visitor a small bag full of goods and there is also dog bed and other accessories in the room.

The staff there are so lovely and helpful. But it was quite stressful not being familiar with Tampere, and not being able to stop right in front of the hotel to bring the bags down. The parking connected to the hotel was full but thankfully there was another parking nearby, but a little inconvenient to have to drag the luggages across the road. Perfect lication for transit. Right next to the entral train station and also airport bus stop. So was ideal for us. The room and the bed were OK. Hotel has sauna, however, we did not have time to attend. As we were leaving during the night to catch early morning flight we received a breakfast for takeaway.

You don't find such a nice Courtyard very often, I was surprised on how nice this hotel was. Only drawback is that policy where they only clean rooms every third day, you expect a nice and clean room each night when staying at a hotel.

It will be better if the hotel can provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Otherwise it is a nice hotel to stay.

I don’t know how to inform about this to google, but Marriotts own site says they’re actually a 4-star hotel. Google says its only a 3-star hotel.

Room and service is amazing! Also you can get complimentary popcorn, which is surprisingly so good. All staff are so kind and polite, especially Ms. Enna helped me a lot to have a good travel plan and I appreciate it:) I’d like to stay here next time I stay Tampere!

This review is only for Bar & Kitchen at Courtyard Tampere city since I visit this place only for lunch. As a lunch place Coutryards bar&kitchen has relaxing & comfy atmosphere to have lunch with your friends.

At the beginning of Hämeenkatu(railway station end) Short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Room were ok, rather old though. Breakfast room is small and complex.

I felt very comfortable here. Nice breakfast with varieties of choices. Service personnels were all very kind and professional. Most importantly, they dont have this typical ventilator that runs 24 hours making room really dry. Although the room smelt a bit stong when I arrived, but after one day this was not a problem and room was not dry like most of business hotel.

The (only) accessible room has a great bathroom, with the wet area well separated from the dry part. The bedroom isn't very large but the layout is very practical. Was in Tampere for work. Had to ask for a change of sheets, there were make up stains all over the blanket. floor in sleeping area was covered with hairs, stains of liquids on the small table. one day there was no room service at all. staff at frontdesk was very friendly and helpful, but the cleaning team could be more precise.

I can follow the words of a conversation from another room and they are speaking in normal not-raised tones. Yikes. I’d expect a little bit of privacy in a hotel, especially if the room is somewhat expensive (7th floor). This is less isolated than a regular apartment building.

Very good rooms (if you like quirky) but minus points for not having its own breakfast buffet restaurant. They only offer the basics- porridge, eggs and hot drinks. You have to walk to the next hotel to enjoy the whole buffet.
