Good location. Breakfast missing warm boiled eggs and proper scrambled eggs. Mustamakkara was a nice bonus.

I stayed one night from 26/06/23 to 27/06/23. All staffs were kind and the room was clean. The breakfast was also tasty. It has a nice view and I enjoyed it with beer.

Only negative about this hotel is the 25 Euro charge for car parking. Loved everything else. Sky bar is great.

Perfect lication for transit. Right next to the entral train station and also airport bus stop. So was ideal for us. The room and the bed were OK. Hotel has sauna, however, we did not have time to attend. As we were leaving during the night to catch early morning flight we received a breakfast for takeaway.

Good hotel and very central in the city of Tampere. Only downside was that they do not have hotel slippers nor a water cooker in the room. Great breakfast and great dinner! In reply to the feedback of Scandic: I stayed 9 nights with you. On three occasions I have asked staff for those slippers, all three negative answers. So do not reply to me that it was possible. Fact is: It was not.

Spa is ok but dated very much in the early 90's in design especially the dressing cubicles.

The room was good with a beautiful view, bed was also good. Service was really lovely and breakfast was marvellous! The spa area was oldish and not wow. Had a treatment(head massage). It was okay, really expensive though.

Rooms are comfortable and beds sleep good. Great view when you are on the highest floors. I do miss a real closet. When staying for 9 nights, a closed closet would give the fifth star.

Nice hotel, good location

Above average Hotel in central location. After Torni hotel started this has been more affordable. Breakfast is among the best in this city. Great selection and fresh ingredients. Views are also great from the room. Dogs are also welcome and they give each dog visitor a small bag full of goods and there is also dog bed and other accessories in the room.

Comfortable, quiet and clean room on the 4th floor. Blackout curtains were great blocking out the midnight sun. Decent buffet breakfast with the usual choices. Would stay again.

Clean, basic room but very close to the center. Quiet though. Breakfast was very tasty, lots of bacon and not watery scrambled eggs!! Different timetables for breakfast time made it very safe.

It will be better if the hotel can provide toothbrush and toothpaste. Otherwise it is a nice hotel to stay.

I don’t know how to inform about this to google, but Marriotts own site says they’re actually a 4-star hotel. Google says its only a 3-star hotel.

Room and service is amazing! Also you can get complimentary popcorn, which is surprisingly so good. All staff are so kind and polite, especially Ms. Enna helped me a lot to have a good travel plan and I appreciate it:) I’d like to stay here next time I stay Tampere!

This review is only for Bar & Kitchen at Courtyard Tampere city since I visit this place only for lunch. As a lunch place Coutryards bar&kitchen has relaxing & comfy atmosphere to have lunch with your friends.

Not a bad hotel although most of the time I had no other choices in Tampere so I compare! In general it is clean, staffs are good and breakfast is nice, except one time with not good experience with reception other times they were respectful and nice.

If you would have to describe the hotel with one word: outdated. Unfortunately the beautiful scenery of Pyynikki and the lake Pyhäjärvi is not able to cover the fact that there have not been many updates to this former 4-star hotel. The hotel corridors remind you of a spa from the 80’s and the rooms would need a refresh. A nice location though

I was there for only three night and the weather was terrible except for the first day. I went for a walk and I saw a beautiful environment around the Hotel, The lake, the beach and walking plays in the middle of the nature. I can follow the words of a conversation from another room and they are speaking in normal not-raised tones. Yikes. I’d expect a little bit of privacy in a hotel, especially if the room is somewhat expensive (7th floor). This is less isolated than a regular apartment building.

Very nice and kind people in reception. Excellent restaurant (both a'la carte and breakfast)🏆. Rooms are unfortunately not so good. I liked the interior but air conditioning is so powerless that the room is too hot. Superb hotel, very recent and very cumfortable. The price is also very interesting. However, it is a little bit remote from the centre, and you will also have to do with the medical atmosphere (this is not exactly a place for partying)

Was in Tampere for work. Had to ask for a change of sheets, there were make up stains all over the blanket. floor in sleeping area was covered with hairs, stains of liquids on the small table. one day there was no room service at all. staff at frontdesk was very friendly and helpful, but the cleaning team could be more precise.

An oasis of calmness in the center of a city. First, the staff: gentle and polite. Then, the corridors and a room: nice and in a good shape, although you could find here and there some worn spots (but only after you have specifically looked for these!). The rooms are equipped with a TV set, fridge, iron and ironing board, glasses, tea and kettle, among others. There is also a sauna and a 24/7 gym available...

Property was comfortable but quite dated. It doesn’t have a reception downstairs but instead you walk up a floor to a room that’s been converted into a reception. The lady checking is in was warm and friendly. I think the location was good. Only a short walk to the Main Street and train station.

Just a place to sleep. The reception wasnt open in the late afternoon, like a normal hotel would be. I had to get my key from a the neighbouring bar. The room was clean, had basic amenities like a fridge, shampoo and soap, a table to work at. There was no breakfast, which would be expected for the price they asked for. Left me a little dissapointed. Will not go again if I dont have to. 2.5/5 rounds...

The staff is really nice. The location is good and peaceful. The smallness of the fridge was the only downside. But it was better than nothing. I stayed for one night, but it's perfect for a longer stay.

Great hotel, nice rooms, lovely staff. Breakfast menu had plenty of variation and the coffee was decent. The sauna was a welcome bonus.

It was an ok stay, the breakfast was good, the rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms- clean, and staf was frendly. Howewer, the wi- fi was questonable at best, and the beads were really tiny. But, becides that, it was a plesant stay. 8 / 10.

Aged, no A/C and at least top floor rooms get hot as roof heats up in summer. Very good breakfast, excellent personnel and safe parking available.
