GLO Hotel Airport

The self check-in machines are rudimentary trash, just ignore them and go to the reception desk directly to the human staff. Self check-in is slow, ugly, bloated with optional fields, and after you managed to fill required ones, and you booked the room just recently with an advance payment, it's going to ask for payment in the very end anyway like if you didn't pay, so we were forced to go to the desk anyway to confirm we already paid. The gentleman at the reception did everything perfectly, was very efficient, offered a wake-up call, quickly explained everything. Room itself is good for 2 people, very clean, and serves its purpose perfectly, so it's just stupid self check-in tablets which are better to ignore. Inside the room we were unable to find a way to disable the vent in the toilet which was loud.

Located off in a basement is a bit weird, but convenient. The room was just fine and comfortable for a bit of a nap before our next flight. It is nice to grab a shower before continuing a journey and this hotel is fairly convenient. Self check-in and check-out made it a quick affair.

Comfort Hotel Xpress at Helsinki Airport is a solid choice if you have an early morning flight. The location couldn’t be better—right in the middle of the airport, with easy access to everything. Checking in and out is simple, and you can even do it yourself with the tablets provided.

The room itself was comfortable, with a good bed and pillows, but just a heads-up—the bathroom setup isn’t the most private. The sliding door doesn’t do much to block sounds, so if you’re sharing a room, make sure you know your travel partner well!

Also, the hotel is on the basement level, so no windows, but it’s a good place to rest before a flight.

Music outside is loud - couldn't sleep because it was so loud

Pod itself is big enough with power & air flow, privacy glass works.

Shared toilets a short walk away.

Is hidden away & down some stairs, but once you find the signs it's easy to follow.

Bar has drinks & snacks (sandwiches, fruit, yoghurt, nuts, chocolate, chewing gum etc).

Staff friendly with excellent English.

Shame about the music though

This is the perfect hotel for its purpose. No frills, comfortable enough for a few hours of rest between flights. It even has a decent sized bar outside so you don’t have to sit in your bed cubicle.

We booked a day room for a 10 hour layover arriving early in the morning. Communication via email went smoothly. The location is top-notch, right on the left when exiting the arrivals area. Even though the room was booked from 9AM, they let us in early, which is a very appreciated gesture. The price was very reasonable at EUR 109. There are a few shops and restaurants in the airport terminal if yo want to have a bite.

The room (double with sofa bed) was wide enough and being able to relax with the kids and having a shower and a nap (The hotel being underground, you can make the room dark at any hour) instead of wandering inside the airport was nothing short of a godsend.

The location is of course excellent for somebody waiting for a flight. The room was clean if small and seemed to show its age. The initial price of 280 Euros seemed rather steep but the clark lowered it to 210 Euros when I agreed to join their customer club. Thankfully, they have not yet sent me any promotional material. Overall a not an unpleasant experience.

Perfect for a short stop. It's just a few meters after arrival. Everything was clean and the staff there was so friendly and helpful.
I did a mistake and booked the wrong date. But they helped me to rebook immediately and were so supportive. I can definitely recommend this hotel for a short break between flights.
