Personnel was not un kind. The rooms were not dirty. It is 40min away from the city centre by bus. For the price (I paid 20€ during a weekend on high season) I would come. Only thing could be better for me is more ventilation in the rooms.

A decent enough place considering the price point. We stayed at 3person room with shared bathroom. There were six working bathrooms with questionable locks but we managed as we were able to stand guard so to say. (If I were to go alone I’d take a room with bathroom). A lovely service apartment that is close to a train station - connecting between the airport and the city centre. It's a modern style apartment with all the amenities equipped - sauna, gym, shared kitchen, and shared living spaces. Just 1 walking minute from the Malmi station, which is served by the airport line (only 15 minutes to the airport), so very conveniently located. Hotel ideally located to where I needed to go for business meetings. Also very close to the airport. Hotel has shuttle bus service to and from the hotel or Uber will cost about €6.50. The flat is in the best location. Train station just in the corner and the shopping area as well. The minus one is the bed is small. No tea and coffee in the room as well but if you in budget trip I will recommended this. Train to airport is also easy bc Tekkurila is the hub.

The vàntaa Tikkurila was very near to the train station which had a good location and good amenities with groceries nearby

Great hotel razvitoi infrastructure: pool, sauna, large gym. Beautiful theatraki. Spacious room+ Ironing Board and iron, safe, mini bar. And all this in two times cheaper than hotels in the center. And go to the center by bus 63 which runs every 10 minutes, 15 minutes.

The building's location is excellent. It's very close to the metro. It's a quiet area, with a market, pharmacy, and shopping mall nearby. The apartment is very convenient and clean. We're happy with our stay here.

You can’t open windows, you are forced to breathe through AC the whole stay. The doors change code automatically at 11:00 without warning, fortunately one of us stayed inside to collect remaining luggage. Besides that it was fine.

A rather new hotel, located a few kilometers north of the central Helsinki in a shopping mall. Our room was very clean and shiny, and the bed was actually a comfortable one. Nice Rooms, very well maintained. Awesomely stocked kitchen (in-room) and nice solution for coffee. The area is a bit worn down tho, and theres very shady people hanging out direclty in front of the entrance all the time. I was glad I was not alone.

We can honestly say that Noli Studios exceeded our expectations by miles. Not only was the hotel very clean and nicely decorated with a lot of utilities, but they also offered free sauna, gym, rooftop, shared kitchen, and more. Reception service was great, room was spacious and the beds bigger than standard. It was also really nice to be able to book the sauna just for us - we managed to get the last timeslot. Breakfast was lovely and actually the fact that it was in a separate building across the courtyard was nice because then you had a nice walk across there in the fresh morning air.

Beautiful hotel just enough at the side of all noisy and busy town centers that it's nice and quiet. Room was clean well designed and spacious. Toilet/shower was clean and spacious as well. Only downside was the noise from the a/c but it wasn't noisy enough to stop from getting a good night of sleep. Breakfast was fantastic. Plenty of warm and cold items to choose from and everything was fresh.

A really lovely experience, we stayed at a traditional Finnish cottage close to the lake. Comfortable bed, beautiful tranquil scenery. Friendly staff and very helpful. I attended conference for 2 days. Food served during lunch buffet was really of good quality. Deserts served during lunch time looked like bakery chef craft with berrys and chocolate along with simple colorful macaroons.

The location was good for a walk because it was in front of the lake. The sauna and swimming pool facilities were also good. The only thing was that breakfast was late (7:30) because it was summer, so it was a little inconvenient.

The room is very clean, small but well-equipped. Convenient transportation, opposite the lake, very quiet and comfortable. The meals are very hygienic and rich, especially the local pie is delicious.

Walking to the hotel takes 16 min. Room is large. Swimming Pool is good but opening hours are very short (limited to afternoon from 3pm to 7pm). If weekend, the pool is opened for morning too but opening hours are very short too (7am to 11am). These are not convenient. The changing room door could not be closed

The facilities were OK but nothing more. The bar and restaurant were expensive. When our room was serviced in took around seven minutes, no sign of a vacuum cleaner. The beds weren't made either

This hotel exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The room is large and the bedding is comfortable. The attached kitchen is fully functional. The shared bathroom is also in very good condition. Being from Canada my friends did not know where to hang their towels in the shower so as not to get them wet while showering. There was no protection from the splashes. It was a double clean and large room in the very city centre with helpful receptionists and smiling restaurant staff. I can only suggest to have more sauna rooms because of which I could not use and to renovate the entrance of bathroom which is too high and easy to hit your toes

Before you book this apartment, you have to note few points. 1) This address is only the agent office and NOT the actual apartment address. The apartment is 3 blocks away, and will be miserable to check in on rainy days. 2) There is NO elevator from street level to the apartment building. I stayed 3 nights in Mikonkatu 11 and really enjoyed it. The security is excellent so if you are a solo traveller you will feel very comfortable in the complex. Nice hotel near Helsinki Train Station, a lot of shopping nearby and most important is they got friendly and helpful reception. The con is you have to carry own luggage to second floor, they have no lift, although the kind young lady in reception offer to help me lift the luggage to second floor. Better no big and heavy luggage if you choose this hotel.

Nice room, more like a serviced apartment. Lots of space, with a kitchen, sauna, and living room. We had 4 people, 2 in twin beds in the bedroom, 2 on single beds in living room, which was a bit light at night. Location is ok, a bit out of the way but only 15 mins walk from the centre.

Elaborately designed and implemented renovation. Peaceful. Beds comfortable and soft enough for me. Nice bath in the room. Comprehensive breakfast. Interesting interior. Excellent servive. Location close to see and city center. Tram stop in 50 meters. Enjoyed! A pity that this wasn't the situation during the prison time.

The hotel has a campaign for breakfast at the rate of 17e per adult. Comparing to the weekend breakfast & brunch price in average, this price is quite competitive. This is the reason why we decided to try it out as locals (not staying at the hotel). The breakfast selection is at the average level and I liked the mushroom taste quite much. The campaign is valid till the end of this month.

Nice and interesting since it’s an old jail. Situated a bit out on Katajanokka, tram just outside or a 10 min walk to downtown. Sauna is only on weekends. Breakfast was good but in the rather dark basement. Not so much nice lobby-areas. The charged price didn’t meet expectations, should be a 40EUR less per night according to the standard offered.

A one of the most amazing hotel experience! It’s made of old prison and result is wonderful! We had a superior room where we had a really nice and big bathroom. Stayed the night here in 2009 New Years eve, had the best time ever. Still reminisce over our stay here. Beautifull rooms, excellent (!) beds, delicious breakfast and the most kimd staff! The New Years eve atmosphere with the wonderful singing choirs and beautiful lighting at the Helsinki town square sure added to the whole experience. Sure hope to return here one day and would recommend to anyone...

I enjoyed my stay at Toolo Towers. It's not far from the city centre and at the same time is located in a quiet area. My room was very clean and comfortable, there was a well equipped kitchen, a desk, two chairs and a TV. The views from the window and from the terrace are wonderful. The hotel is like a service apartment. The staff is very nice, the room/kitchen is very clean and sorted. They offer simple breakfast but you can also cook by yourself, or go to nearby cafe to enjoy. It’s suitable for a long-term stay traveller or a traveller who likes to cook during the trip.
