Had a longer stay here for business and while it was generally a good experience, the basement nightclub can be an issue due to the noise so best to stay on a higher floor. Otherwise the room was fine even if not too big and the bed very comfortable. The breakfast had many Nordic staples such as the porridge and Finnish pastries. The Amarillo restaurant on the reception level has super tasty snacks and proper meals as well and their drink menu is quite extensive, including a very tasty mango margarita. Currently the hotel’s gym is undergoing renovation so working out possibility is offered at the Elixia gym which is about a seven minute walk away. The undoubted advantage of the hotel is its proximity to Helsinki airport, in good traffic conditions the drive is less than ten minutes.

Nice hotel very close to the train station. Rooms look (and smell) a bit old, but they are good for price/value. The sauna (seperate for women and men) is super, and the breakfast is also very satisfying.

I was here for a business trip. The first thing that struck was the fact that the heating could not be switched off. It made a hell of noise though. Half of the lamps were broken and there were lots of switches that did nothing. All the furniture is horribly outdated. Besides this, it turned out that people come here to party all night in the breakfast parlour and in their rooms. Unfortunately also next to mine, although they barely overstemmed the noise of the heating. Let me add to this that the breakfast was good and the room was clean (although they do not clean it after you have arrived). Do not go here if you want to sleep.

The common spaces look so old and have a smell of old alcohol and desinfection chemicals over the decades, but the room was ok. I was there on Friday night and asked for a quiet room not distrurbed by the disco, and I did. The room was old but functional, no complaints about that. The breakfast variety was plenty, but the breakfast room in the disco is far from nice, and even in the morning the music was quite loud. This hotel is a good option if you are travelling by air or train.

Good experience for business one night here again, unbelieveable, Karaoke Bar on ground floor, a lots guys playing over night ! Ha Ha Ha !

Nice room with plenty of space. There are also more choices for breakfast.
There is a dance floor in the lobby, which is very high on weekends. Sound insulation is generally good.
It is less than five minutes' walk to the train station, which is convenient for travel.

Very expensive hotel for it’s quality. Water runs down inside of the walls and interior is 80s at its best. The price-quality ratio does not match. 60€ hotel maximum. Good location close to the train station and airport. Good luck whit the mold.

The hotel is a sokos hotel, so ppl can get points for it. The stay was 123E for a bed and breakfast. I arrived at midnight and left at 7, so no use of any of the facilities. The rooms were old, bathroom was old, and breakfast was in the middle of the disco!
Front staff was helpful, but didn't really need much.

After a long flight with kids and old person, we simply needed a bed the rest. Our flight arrived in an early morning, and check-in time was 3pm. “By observation us”, the receptionist and her manager provided us a temporary room for few hours without charges, then later informed us for early check in to our suite. We were really appreciated their service. And we decided to stay one more night to support their business. All staffs (Finns and foreigners) were professional, friendly (smile to us). The breakfast was typical Finnish style (fresh, healthy, and organic). The beds were perfect to lay down, we had very good sleep. Many cacao drinks and honey were in the fridge. The sauna was big, comfortable. There is also a play room for kids in the restaurant. There is a microwave (warm up your own food) next to the receptionist area. Overall, it is a convenient, friendly, ethical, and good budget hotel to stay.
