My family and I had a lovely stay at Hôtel d'Argouges! The property is gorgeous and has loads of charm. Staying there felt like stepping back in time! The rooms were comfortable, and the bathrooms were very modern. We really appreciated the warm welcome of the hotel staff, and of Gloria, the resident beagle! It was a quick walk (or very fast drive) to the center of Bayeux. Overall, a great stay and would return!

We absolutely loved our stay, the staff especially Ava was incredibly welcoming and she made sure our stay was wonderful and comfortable!! We are so in love with the town, the hotel and it's people!! We'll be back for sure!

The hotel's location was very convenient, and the availability of parking was a great benefit. The rooms were comfortable, and although they were on the smaller side due to being in Europe, our room was more than adequate for the three of us. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which was the best aspect of our stay.

The good: location near the heart of the city within walking distance of shipping, restaurants and attractions. The hotel includes an indoor courtyard with a garden. Accommodating and friendly staff. Breakfast for 15 Euros was good, and included American coffee. Free parking is available in the courtyard which could be a tight fit for anything but a compact vehicle.
The bad: The hotel being very old was without an elevator, had a tight staircase and, in our room, had low ceilings anyone with mobility issues would have a challenge. My wife had a backache from the too firm mattress. Our room didn’t have a shower but rather a tub, which was difficult to get in and out of.
The meh: the TV did not have any signal but we don’t speak French.

Rooms the usual small space that’s seen in Europe. Our particular room seemed a bit more cramped. GREAT location but will look for something a bit more affordable next time. Pleasant staff at all times b

Gorgeous little getaway. Very helpful and friendly staff. Cute rooms. Quiet. Gorgeous lobby and waiting rooms/breakfast area. Free parking in a secured spot. Good breakfast. Nice little garden behind as well. Good views from 1st and 2nd floors (2nd and 3rd for Americans.)

I think the best hotel we stayed in during our France trip. Wonderful service from the desk. Beautiful garden we couldn't wait to get back to while exploring. Front desk helped us explore Bayeaux. Room and bathroom were wonderful and clean. Breakfast was the best we had. Great location. Nothing bad to be said. We would come back in a heartbeat

My family and I came to Bayeux to visit the World War II beaches. We loved this hotel! First and foremost, the accommodations are amazing! Old charm beauty mixed with new world amenities. The owner Frederick (with his precious beagle Gloria) and his staff were so kind and lovely throughout our time there. Just to explain how appreciative we are, during our time, we had a small incident that required us to go to the very close hospital late in the night. When we arrived home, owner Frederick was waiting for us to make sure we were all okay. This hotel is an extremely special place with an amazing owner and staff! Please treat yourself and spend time here.

I stayed here several years ago over Easter weekend. I was traveling solo and the owners were very welcoming. I speak very little French but they were fluent in English and helped me with my French pronunciation. My room was very clean and cozy. The breakfast was satisfying and delicious with fresh fruit and pastry. The hotel is in an excellent location to walk to several attractions or a short drive. As a single female I felt very safe. I used this as my place to stay while visiting the D Day beaches and Mont St Michel. I'm returning to the region next year and will definitely stay at Hotel D'Argouges again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It’s a Beautiful Hotel in a fantastic location- the perfect location to see the sights of the town and very easy to access. The staff were wonderfully accommodating and extremely helpful as I mixed up my booking dates which we only noticed on arrival. We were travelling in classic cars and found the on-site parking garage to be perfect, parking elsewhere onsite is also very secure.
