Bayeux, 49, Rue de Bellefontaine 🧭 Map
Clean and comfortable. Night desk staff is friendly and helpful. It’s odd that in-room coffee pods are complimentary only for the first night.
The place was wonderful but the only problem a bit out of town and if you dont have car it was difficult to get too and from the town. Also the restaurant was closed 2 of the 3 days we were there. Wifi not great. But the place was gorgeous and rooms very comfortable.
Stunning view upon entering property! The Chateau is clean and well maintained. The staff is courteous and friendly. Within walking distance of town.
Gorgeous chateau in Bayeux. The night Receptionist/Jill of all trades.. was outstanding. She was efficient and friendly. Wonderful service. Our suite was clean and very spacious, which we loved. Dinner was superb...steak and fish cooked to perfection. Well done Chef!
Bad bed; very pricey for ok bfast...
Beautiful and relaxing stay...room very small but sufficient and very clean but was last available on chosen night....grounds tranquil...we took dinner in evening and breakfast in morning...both were superb. However this place could do with more staff ....we arrived at 2pm ...one at reception and one looking after small wedding reception dinner....same girl looking after us till late at night and...

Bayeux, Zone d'Activité de Nonant, rue des Longues Haies 🧭 Map
Booked this hotel for five nights with breakfast, whilst touring the area war museums on my motorcycle. It’s super easy to find , well located to getting to the area beaches and museums.
The hotel is very clean , tidy along with the room. Comfortable bed, good shower.
Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Hotel room had excellent bed and shower, but room only big enough for two small people! Parking no problem but not close to Bayeux. Staff busy and helpful when approached, but not welcoming
Simple. Clean. Secure parking. Friendly staff. A good basic stop point from the Caen ferry if arriving late.
Great budget option for exploring D-Day area, clean rooms, easy parking and close to all major routes. Only downside is not much around it meaning either more driving in the evening for dinner or very expensive taxis into Bayeux.
I have stayed in many Ibis Budget but this is my favourite. Located off the motorway but very quiet. Always spotlessly clean. Next door to a nice restaurant, reasonably priced food and drinks. Lots of choice for breakfast. Most of all very friendly staff. They also have secure parking.
Breakfast provision was substandard with provisions running out before 7:30 AM. Insufficient staff to assist guests to self serve breakfast which was busy with a large tour group. Better provision for this should have been made assuming they were booked and breakfast is pre ordered and prepaid

It was excelente. Very polite staff.
Very good hotel. Clean rooms, kind staff, good breakfast!
Nice city to explore Normandië. Hotel has no airco so it can be warm in the hotel room.
Our family of four stayed here over Christmas, 2019, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were in the 4th floor apartment and it was perfect for us with the 2 bedrooms. Very spacious and clean. Hot tub, sauna and infinity pool were enjoyed. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Staff very pleasant. Parking available. Location is just right for exploring Bayeux and also for travelling to Normandy Beaches...
This hotel is located 0.8miles from main train station. The hotel staff is very curteous! Very helpful! The rooms are clean and roomy. It has an elevator, restaurant and bar in the property as well as a Pool spa and sauna.
Good hotel but a little understaffed

Good value, clean and tidy, friendly hosts.
Lovely Hotel with clean and comfortable rooms!
Clean and tidy. Very helpful owner. Situated very close to town, the Cathedral, Bayeux Tapestry, D Day museum and CW Graves all within easy walking distance.
The hotel was close to food and bakery. We had the top room which was recently refurbished and it held 4 guests. The gentlemen was very friendly and helped us book restaurants (la pompier or something) we used bayeux as a base to see normandy. Very good value and 2 stars. The surrounding neighbourhood was quiet.
Great night's sleep in a clean and charming room. The host spoke English well and was relaxed and friendly. Also a wealth of local and historical information. Breakfast with lots of coffee was wonderful. Bayeux is a nice town.

Hôtel Le Saint Patrice
Bayeux, 30 Rue St Patrice 🧭 Map
A great hotel that is perfect for a trip to Bayeux. Nothing fancy but just what was needed. Lovely staff.
Nice facility, clean rooms. Breakfast was basic but good.
Lovely stay at Hotel St. Patrice. We had 2 rooms, both spotless and newly renovated. Hoteliers, Aline and Jérôme were attentive and accommodating. European breakfast met our needs. Excellent location for exploring Bayeux and as base for all D-Day historical sites.
Friendly staff. Decent enough for a night or two, but the shower drain smelled a bit upstairs. Bearable. Also toilet downstairs with no sink so you have to go upstairs to wash hands. Good beds. Stayed in unit 1.
We loved this place! Nice room (we had a family room) which had double bed and toilet on one level and then stairs leading up to a room with two single beds and a bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and the lady who was on staff was so nice. She took the time to chat with us and joke about our attempts at French! The location is great as it's only a short walk into the centre and to the main attractions...

A wonderful Valentine's Day weekend with a lovely surprise upon our arrival. Little Leonidas chocolates, two swans made with towels and a beautiful rose. A friendly, welcoming welcome, spacious room and impeccable cleanliness.
Hotel is clean, staff is good, I leave my Carmer at check in counter, after an hour & ask them, they pass it back, thanks so much.
The Novotel in Bayeux was a welcome stop on my trip back to Amsterdam from Portugal. Pet friendly and a good location to explore the surrounding area. The bar and restaurant was good, with a decent breakfast. There was plenty of parking and super quiet.
All what you need for a short stay.
Too expensive for what you get. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast, very limited dinner possibilities but good and not too expensive. Decent location. Bar not stocked, some things very cheap, some overpriced. Toilet room way too small, almost impossible to even get in. Beds are good. Would expect more though from Novotel brand. Clean swimming pool.
A great place to recharge and relax after a long day of seeing the sites. One if the few places with air conditioning and a pool. Reasonable pricing and helpful staff to assist in you requests. Conference room for large events or seminar for work.

quirky decor, comfortable. good location. lovely staff (and proprietors).
This is a superb hotel. Excellent location, exceptional staff and great accommodations. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the region.
This is by far the best hotel that my family has ever visited!! Not only is the staff extremely helpful and friendly, but these are without a doubt the cleanest hotel room that we have ever stayed in. My brother asked about playing at a local golf course and within seconds they were making the reservation for him to play 18 holes the following day and scheduling a round trip taxi service.

Nicest hotel in town with a lovely/helpful concierge. Spotlessly clean and quite charming.
Absolutely first rate. Perfectly located, personable and accommodating staff, large and comfortable rooms. We hated to depart!
This is an absolutely wonderful hotel. Rima and her staff made our stay amazing and very enjoyable. I look forward to returning and spending more time here and in this beautiful town. Having stayed here as the last stop on our vacation, it was truly saving the best for last.

Wonderful location, staff, breakfast and room. Very comfortable and clean. Staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and making reservations and in making us feel at home. We enjoyed having a glass of wine at the end of each day. Highly recommend Hotel Churchill.
Perfect location in the heart of the city center. The staff is very accommodating. Beautiful facility featuring many photos from WWII.
This is a nice hotel in downtown Bayeux, in walking distance of many shops and restaurants. I enjoyed my three days stay at this hotel while I visited the Normandy countryside in historical World War II sites. The staff was very friendly and helpful and even made reservations for Me.
The back door has room for cars and buses and the front door is right on the main street of town.
The stairs are uneven and sagging, but they make up for it by having the stairwell poorly lit! The lights should be always on or they should have a motion sensor that turns them on as needed. Guests should not have to search for a light switch. This hotel caters to older veterans as well.
Lovely hotel in the city center. Very clean, nice space, great WiFi, helpful staff. Definitely recommend!

The restaurant for dinner was superb. Lots of very innovative takes on dishes and service was top notch.
Breakfast at hotel was pretty terrible. Everything was very undercooked and the eggs were truly inedible...
This hotel is lovely!!! Service exceptional!! I had such a nice room that looked on the courtyard. I gave four stars to room because is there is no air conditioning. The room does come with a fan and bayeux usually cool outside so the windows open were lovely! The location is amazing as it is an easy 5-10 minute walk to any sight. Literally right on Rue St Jean--the street with all the shops and...
Great experience at this hotel. Friendly staff, great breakfast, and clean, comfy rooms! One thing to be wary of is that there is no elevator so if you are older or less abled it will be hard to get your luggage to your room.
It’s a lovely place the staff is responsive. There is no elevator so if you’re tired or carrying packages, get ready for a climb up narrow and winding stairs. The room was more spacious than our other rooms so a big plus. And the bathroom was also very nice. If you have an early tour you have to rush through breakfast because the restaurant doesn’t open till 7. The location in town is excellent. You...
Amazing hotel! The location, the building, the rooms, the breakfast, restaurant and especially the PEOPLE! Everyone was so nice and so professional! Some names I remember are Virginie, Anne Laur, Lucy, Antonin and four or five more whose names I unfortunately can’t remember. Sorry :( I would love to come back. What a treat. Stay here and you’ll be very happy you did.
Great location near the old town and was greeted well by the staff and offered map and even shown us to our room and explain the room in detail which is a first for us.

My family and I had a lovely stay at Hôtel d'Argouges! The property is gorgeous and has loads of charm. Staying there felt like stepping back in time! The hotel's location was very convenient, and the availability of parking was a great benefit. The rooms were comfortable, and although they were on the smaller side due to being in Europe, our room was more than adequate for the three of us. The cleanliness of the hotel was commendable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, which was the best aspect of our stay.
The good: location near the heart of the city within walking distance of shipping, restaurants and attractions. The hotel includes an indoor courtyard with a garden. Accommodating and friendly staff. Breakfast for 15 Euros was good, and included American coffee. Free parking is available in the courtyard which could be a tight fit for anything but a compact vehicle.

Excellent huge rooms, they could have fit a third queen i to my room. The staff is top notch, the breakfast was made to order. The hot tub was nice after a cold day walking the D Day beaches.
This is another one of the best westerns we stayed in while on our trip in France and throughout. Right in town we had a lot of fun just walking around and exploring the town. As usual it cost you to park your car. We enjoyed this hotel as much as we did the rest of the Best Western Hotels throughout France.
Great 17th century hotel. The staff is outstanding. The restaurant is excellent too.
Old hotel. Great location. Center of town. Front desk was very nice staff.. Smell of mold in our bathroom was very strong. Out building had no elevator so you carry your suitcase up stairs.
Came here with my wife for the 75th Anniversary of D-Day. The hotel was nice and the staff were also great. Ended up hanging out with the some of the staff and had a blast. Location is also great.
Good hotel with helpful staff in a quiet town. The rooms are spacious by French standard and the place includes a pool and hot tub. There is a secure parking lot for an additional charge. This place is within walking distance of many tourist sites in town, and the town makes a good home base for visits to the D Day landing sites.

The Hotel Le Bayeux was very charming and comfortable. The rooms (we had 2) were very clean and spacious. The staff was very attentive. We would definitely stay here again if our travels bring us back to Bayeux. Would recommend this hotel in the highest regard!
The hotel is about 10-15 minutes walk from Bayeux Train Station. Reception staff can speak English, are friendly and willing to help. Our room has 3 single beds which is perfect for us. Good location. The room was able to accommodate 4 of us. Employee at check in was pleasant but not overly welcoming. Wonderful breakfast. The woman who prepared the meal was a delight. Shower - no tub, which we preferred.

Nice & basic, much like an American Motel 6. Great proximity to the center of town; approximately 1.1 kilometers. 800 meters from the Bayeux Military Museum & Britain War Cemetery.
I found this to be a really nice hotel. As it is rated 1 star, my expectations were "low" and this establishment exceeded them fully. We checked in when the front desk was staffed so had no problems. Our room was small, but clean and contained everything necessary for a good, nights sleep. It is also a short walk from the cathedral and the main Bayeux sights. Free parking was also an added benefit
A great example of a basic hotel. Excellent value. Clean and tidy. Plenty of hot water. And a welcome relief after a week of basic camping.
