We really enjoyed our 3 night stay, the host & his staff & beautiful dog were very welcoming. Lovely breakfast each morning

The whole place must have looked good in its hay days but seems like it’s just been ran to the ground. Things falling apart and outdated. Pool steps are just a joke… they are barely attached to the wall anymore. Room was just dark and dirty. Not to mention the fella who runs the place, gave us super creepy vibes. Hugely overpriced.

Very pleasant staff, grounds great. Really enjoyed our stay, but not as much as our dog Scooby. (German wire haired pointer)

A characterful house with adjoining garden patio, covered terrace and pool and pool side area as well as indoor dining space abs bar space - lots if free parking and shaded areas - full of character

Lovely pool, beautiful gardens, right by the wine route, but not a particularly nice walk into town along the main road. Was lovely to have the place to myself if a little strange to find no one in the restaurant and have to go hunting for the one member of staff if I needed anything!

We arrived after a long hot drive, and what a welcome oasis it was! The hotel, set in large well-maintained (but slightly wild) gardens and steeped in sunny calm, has a cool quiet entrance hall of aging splendour and modest but comfortable rooms. There is a good sized pool for hot weather, and a nice bar with a hint of jazz for a late drink. The staff were very friendly and professional and, although the restaurant was closed for evening meals, there was a fine continental breakfast. A place to visit again!

We have just spent 3 beautiful days in this hotel. The rooms are very nice and confortable ( it's a pity because there isn't air conditioned). The swimming pool is good and clean. The garden is nice and large. We had also a dinner in their restaurant and the food is very good. They are pet friendly and they have a very friendly big dog. We have been spent some days 3 years ago in the Flambèe hotel, and I am sure come back again next time.

Excellent genuine french cuisine. Waiters with Chutzpah just add more colour to the French country-side experience.

Situated 2 to 3 Kms from the centre of Bergerac the hotel offers nice accommodation which is clean & tidy.
Note - there is no air con (AC) in bedrooms which, when it gets warm gets a little uncomfortable 😦but there was a large fan which circulated the air.
The food was nice but a very 1980 / 90's menu but which was very popular but not to my own taste but nevertheless was fine. The wines were spot on ✅
Breakfast was very sweet I.e. pear juice, croissants, marmalade and bread which was warm plus cheese and really nice but would suit someone with a 'sweet' tooth more than myself but again nice and tasty.
There were pigs in the grounds that children may like to visit (all in a secure pen) .. a chicken plus a large friendly dog and cat and large outside areas where you could sit and read or have a wander.
It's a very friendly hotel with great / friendly staff and you're made very welcome so no AC was outweighed by all other aspects.

A great experience. Staff was very friendly, so were the other guests of the hotel or restaurant. The room was spacious and clean. The restaurant has a nice terrace and we had a delightful dinner. There are many animals around, goats, pigs, horse, dogs and cats, which our baby daughter (18 months) loved to watch.

Quiet and pretty setting on the road to the pecharmant vineyards. Staff very helpful. Room clean but a bit small and dark. Minimal uninspiring breakfast. Nice lunch.
