Hotel Villa Koegui Biarritz in Biarritz

Great, central location and the staff are really nice.
Unfortunately I have to mark this place down because of the total lack of soundproofing in the property as I see someone else has mentioned.
If people are in the room above you, you can hear everything. Footsteps sound like loud stomping and unfortunately for us we had people both nights who were up stomping around the room, dropping thigs on the floor until 1-2am so it was impossible to sleep until they had gone to bed. We banged on the ceiling several times but they ignored us, and because there are no staff at this hotel past 6.30pm, there is no one to help you out.
The staff were really sympathetic about it and tried to move us but there is no point unless you're on the top floor as every other room has that potential issue. As a 4* hotel i'd 100% expect to be able to get a good night sleep, this really needs to be addressed.
