Amazing stay with amazing service. Anything we asked for was made possible. The restaurant and the breakfast was really good also, but a bit expensive though the breakfast can be a one time thing also to try all the nice Basque cakes outside the hotel as well. The spa was great.

The hotel is located in a beautiful position in fantastic city. Very nice place meet a little refurbishing. The room was very good very clean. It was warm and their air conditioning was shut down in the whole building except in the lobby.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this hotel, taking advantage of our Accor membership. We were fortunate during our stay to be upgraded to a beachfront room. The Sofitel Biarritz had great customer service and very comfortable rooms (save a bare bones balcony and noisy AC). However, the facility is in complete disrepair. It is always a pleasure to renew our honeymoon every year at the Sofitel, it is pure luxury, the queen size beds are so comfortable, the outside swimming pool is fantastic even when it is windy weather - I quite like it as the pool is empty when the weather is bad. The gym and other spa facilities are fantastic.

Biarritz is a jewel, and having a 4-star hotel in the center requires the respect of Biarritz citizens, leadership, and customers. I mean that the Mercure President Hotel has to raise the challenge. Good average chain hotel. Small rooms with very comfortable mattresses. Is strange to see the showers and the toilet with separated doors (very usual in Japan). The hotel is located 350 from the beach. Nice and affordable place to stay at if you are in Biarritz (France)

Room was clean. Paid for the upgrade to get balcony and they put in a room with a view...no balcony! There was a funky smell in the room of maybe backed up drain pipes. The breakfast was very good. There is a third party parking building right beside the hotel.... €19 a day. You can see the ocean from hotel but this area is too beautiful not to find a place right on the ocean... if you can afford...

Stayed Sunday night due to early Monday flight....twin beds a bit narrow but can put up with that for a single night, only downfall restaurant not open weekends for evening meal

Room was very small. No plug socket by the bed for husband's CPAP machine but staff member did provide an extension from the bathroom plug which meant that the bathroom light couldn't be switched on in the night. Restaurant was closed so breakfast had to be taken in room but no extra chair provided. Stairs to upper floors outside and no lift. Staff were friendly but had to wait in the rain for reception...

Pretty good hotel to be honest. Location as said by everyone is perfect if you're wanting to be close to the airport and there is a local bus stop that gets you to the city centre / beaches. Excellent location for walking to airport and walking distance to downtown (1 mile) through a lovely neighborhood with grocery store, laundromat and Church along the way. Biarritz is a lovely town with a wonderful seaside trail. The hotel breakfast was excellent value and an evening nightcap a relaxing way to end the day. Rooms are quiet, clean, the bed comfy.

I needed a room at short notice as Ryanair decided it was acceptable to dump as at Biaritz airport at 3am 5 hours after we were due to land having been diverted and bussed from Bordeaux. The hotel staff were excellent, the room very clean and comfortable and a great price. Excellent value for money.

Oh my goodness what a wonderful Chateau to stay in... It is owned and run by the original owners geat grandson. The interior is lovely and reflects it's heritage. Our room on ground floor was large and the attached bath was huge. Beautifully appointed. The bed was large and very comfy. The bath towels thick and soft. They provide robes and slippers. They go out of heir way to accommodate your needs...

My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. Unfortunately we were not able to stay here, due to my 7 year old becoming very ill the days leading up to our stay. When I called the hotel to inquire about their cancellation policy, they informed me that we were past the point of receiving a refund (because we used an online travel agency to book). However they tried their best to get the room...

Well designed and modern. Excellent service. A bit noisy. Pool could be cleaner. Excellent site. If you are less sensitive than me of noise, go for it.

During our stay in the beautiful castle we imagined ourselves a landlord and castle lady for a night. The reception was super customer friendly. The room and the surrounding garden breathtaking. The concluding breakfast gave a feeling of satisfaction before our long journey home.

It is a good hotel. Friendly staff and good location. Grounds are very spacious and nice views. Catering is limited and rooms could do with air conditioning in warm weather. Other than that, all good.

We love this hotel! We were treated so well from beginning to end. We came with two dogs and had a perfect room for them on the ground floor with access to a porch. The grounds of the hotel are large and perfect for walking the dogs. The food was lovely and the service impeccable. I love this hotel I visited many times already. It simply with a unique quality. There is a professional friendly atmosphere. The receptionist George et Lola are very helpful. All the staff are doing the best for our comfort. It was a good surprise when they offered me "welcome macarons"! I can't wait to come back the soonest possible.

What makes or breaks a great time in a hotel is the details and the details here were simply great. From the great beds and mattresses, to the art on the walls, to the very attentive staff (Georges was just wonderful) we felt very well taken care of. It was raining and they had no problems we sit inside for a coffee and tee with 2 strollers. Wish to stay in this place next time we visit Biarritz.

The staff working here are very kind and the lounge and bar/restaurant area are very nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and AC works great but the room interior does not like the pictures on website. We paid for a ”elegantes” room which according to the website is suppose to be 20m2, however our room was max 16m2 including bathroom and toilet.

Great place for brunch, €24 with a good selection of dishes including cold chicken, salmon and hot bacon, sausage and eggs. Good selection of pies which were all vegetarian. Drinks are included to hot and cold got juice. The tiramisu was to die for.

I was originally meant to be staying here to celebrate my birthday at the end of June, but due to Covid-19 my flights were cancelled at the last minute. My girlfriend contacted the hotel to inform them of the issues and how we couldn't get to Biarritz, and they were extremely helpful, understanding and their level of customer service impressed me greatly!

We loved staying at Palacito. Location is perfect! 2 blocks from the beach and close to all the stores. Very clean. Staff very nice! Will come back.

Lovely hotel. Great location: very easy to see the best of Biarritz by foot/bicycle as beaches and city life amenities are very close by. Warning if you come by car you must reserve parking far in advance as spaces are very limited (and finding parking in Biarritz in high-season is nearly impossible). But otherwise nice experience.

We stayed a night at Hotel Saint-Julien that was recommended to us by our local friend Charlotte. It was such a pleasant surprise. Love the local vibe of this boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and designed with flair. Staff is extremely nice and homemade breakfast was marvelous. ++ it’s walking distance from every attraction in Biarritz.

the place is not in the centre. it is about 3 km from the shore, so if you mind walking uphill a little, seeing in the meantime nice houses, then it is perfect. it is possible to park free of charge. personnel is nice, helpful

Stayed here last night. Very clean and tidy room. Very friendly and helpful service with the people running the hotel. Short walk down into the main street great if you have a car as it is easier to park away from the busy area

Had a gift from friends of a one night stay in this hotel. Loved that was able to have my cats with me as it is pet friendly hotel, the extra cost for each animal is 10€. The rooms- small but pretty clean i would say. There was some dust under bed which was suprising, but liked that the floor was laminate and not a carpet. Straight away felt much more clean than normal hotel room. Shower very nice...

We overall liked the decor and location of the hotel. However we had a couple of issues. There was a water leaking from the toilet in our room - and the solution proposed by the hotel was to put more towels on the floor… When we checked out, we had to hang out in the hotel for little longer and it was raining. The hotel doesn’t offer any toilet once you check out and the solution proposed was to go...

This was a perfect hotel for our needs. We wanted to be close to the sea in a lively part of town and this hotel could not have been better. Excellent receptionists. Helped getting taxi and helped with luggage. Great room with ocean view. Good breakfast, if you arrive by 9am, otherwise it starts to run out or can be cold.

I had a fantastic time here. The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful- giving us lots of tips on where to go and what to do. The location is good, a little back from the very centre of the town and beach but within walking distance. Good value for money!

This place is perfect 👌 the situation is awesome you can do everything by walk shop, restaurants beaches. You can the bus at 50 feet from the hotel and the staff is super nice and will give you great tips for restaurants and place to visit

It was a bit hard to find the hotel as the website doesn't work very well. Not good WiFi connection either and I will encourage the hotel to have more options for the continental breakfast. Although the place is nice, clean and the staff is friendly.

Very welcoming reception. Rooms were exactly what we expected and very clean. Also a convenient location, walkable to the beach and city centre. We visited in winter. It was off peak season, the hotel wasnt crowded and prices were very reasonable.

Location is phenomenal, customer service was nice. My complain I stayed for 2 days we were 2 adults and a kid. We never had shampoo Or body wash in the shower first day I thought ok the should refill tomorrow but it never happened. I would not recommend to pay for breakfast I think it’s expensive for just basic food. You can get a better cheaper breakfast going somewhere else.

This is a good hotel that could be great. But if it were great it would be a higher price! I give it 3.5 stars based on good value for money and location I was bothered that they charged me €5 for a bottle of water that I understood to be complementary when I checked in (I will assume it was a language communication error as I don’t speak French) but they also gave me a 1 hour extra late check out...

The Hotel Florida is the BEST value in Biarritz among hotels. Perfectly situated 75 yards from the Beach in a nice square that is lined with good sidewalk cafes. Two streets over you will find the City Center, which has a chic beach town vibe. I recommend the Junior Suite for mature couples.

A cosy hotel in the center of Biarritz. Nicely decorated rooms including air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, and Nespresso machine. The standard rooms are a bit small for longer stays... it's better to book a junior suite. The breakfast is typically French and unfortunately, there is no salad, sliced cucumbers, or anything similar.

Location is perfect! Room was ok, a bit small but with a nice view. Bathroom was very small and the shower was so small it might cause problems for anyone bigger than average. Toilet kept horrible noise when flushed. Otherwise ok. Would recommend because of the very good location.
