Room was clean. Paid for the upgrade to get balcony and they put in a room with a view...no balcony! There was a funky smell in the room of maybe backed up drain pipes. The breakfast was very good. There is a third party parking building right beside the hotel.... €19 a day. You can see the ocean from hotel but this area is too beautiful not to find a place right on the ocean... if you can afford...

Amazing stay with amazing service. Anything we asked for was made possible. The restaurant and the breakfast was really good also, but a bit expensive though the breakfast can be a one time thing also to try all the nice Basque cakes outside the hotel as well. The spa was great.

I didn't stay in the hotel itself. But I visited the cafe on the south terrace. The building itself has a rich history, which gives the palace additional charm along with the rich interior decoration.

It is always a pleasure to renew our honeymoon every year at the Sofitel, it is pure luxury, the queen size beds are so comfortable, the outside swimming pool is fantastic even when it is windy weather - I quite like it as the pool is empty when the weather is bad. The gym and other spa facilities are fantastic.

Very friendly staff and gorgeous views from the rooftop pool. The restaurant is also nice but fairly pricey. If you have children the restaurant next door was perhaps more affordable. However the bar area was great with live music and a lovely atmosphere.

September 2024 Been to the restaurant. This is not a tourist trap (looking at where it is located). Often a full house. Staff is helpfull and quick (after your first order ;-) ) good menu, looking at seasons while also have some classics on the menu. Good wine list also per glass. Your money's worth. Make a reservation or come in right at 19:00. Table by the window.

We’ve had a wonderful, relaxing couple of nights here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The room (302) was spacious, with a huge terrace overlooking the sea opened by large patio doors and bedroom that had a sliding door to separate the lounge area. This meant you could keep all your suitcases and general clutter in the lounge (there is plenty of practical storage) and relax in a tidy bedroom...

A small hotel conveniently situated for the town centre and within a short distance of the beach. The staff were both friendly and very helpful.

I stayed in a twin room with a bathroom, the room comes with a fan and tv, the ground floor doesn't have the best view as it's just the street but the beds are comfortable and towels are provided so you can use your own at the beach. Staff are friendly and overall it's a pretty good hotel for the price

Stayed Sunday night due to early Monday flight....twin beds a bit narrow but can put up with that for a single night, only downfall restaurant not open weekends for evening meal

No plug socket by the bed for husband's CPAP machine but staff member did provide an extension from the bathroom plug which meant that the bathroom light couldn't be switched on in the night. Excellent location for walking to airport and walking distance to downtown (1 mile) through a lovely neighborhood with grocery store, laundromat and Church along the way. Biarritz is a lovely town with a wonderful seaside trail. The hotel breakfast was excellent value and an evening nightcap a relaxing way to end the day. Rooms are quiet, clean, the bed comfy.

I needed a room at short notice as Ryanair decided it was acceptable to dump as at Biaritz airport at 3am 5 hours after we were due to land having been diverted and bussed from Bordeaux. It was an true French experience! We had small and cozy room what looked so stylish. Everything was so soft, the pillows, the towels, the carpet on the floor, even the Clarins Paris shower gel in the bathroom. After this my body felt like a french satin. We like Windsor a lot. Have stayed here in 2020 and 2021. Their staff is greatly accommodating and helpful; the rooms are excellent, with everything you would expect (ac that works, sound proofing, high speed connectivity, nespresso machine, good water pressure). During our stay in the beautiful castle we imagined ourselves a landlord and castle lady for a night. The reception was super customer friendly. The room and the surrounding garden breathtaking. The concluding breakfast gave a feeling of satisfaction before our long journey home.

A very warm welcome and very helpful staff. The hotel is perfectly situated but has no attached car park, the carpark is a public one situated elsewhere. The rooms are slightly small but bed very comfortable. I recommend this hotel for short stays.

Street is quiet. Good restaurants near Helianthe traffic circle. Very good service in the reception, everyone speaks very good English.
