Residence Mer & Golf Eugenie, Biarritz1 / 50
Biarritz, 54-56 Rue de Madrid 🧭 Map
The location is great, about 20-minutes walk to the city center. However, there are several minuses, there are no ACs in the room, some nights were too hot, and it is required to remove all bed sheets and towels before check-in, however, it wasn’t mentioned anywhere
Looked lovely on booking.comTired and dated in reality. Clean though.Nothing in locality for eating out no bar or nearby shops.
Nice place. The studio with upstairs bunks are hard climb. Also the washrooms are tight squeeze.
Great location. Rooms are comfortable and warm. Staff very helpful and friendly. My son and I had a great week. He tried surfing.
Overall good place. Good pools. VERY friendly staff. one star goes off because rooms are kind old looking but it didnt mind my travel at all. I recommend. and I got exactly what i thougth i was getting, And the location was amazing everything was close Sores beaches parks downtown etc
Great location.excellent staff at rece0ption.Ideal for dogs.

Hotel with a very nice industrial and chic decoration. The catering concept with daily meals is very appreciable. Well done to this friendly team full of attentions as a little gift for our wedding anniversary and a nice little note. Thank you really. We will be back with pleasure.
We had a great weekend at the hotel. The cozy room with terrace is sublime, tastefully decorated, clean and has a breathtaking view of the ocean. The staff are very friendly and concerned about our well-being. We tried the generous and very good in-room brunch. Finally, the food in the restaurant was very good and the welcome was perfect. We recommend ++
We had a perfect weekend. The cozy room with terrace is sublime tastefully decorated, very clean and the breathtaking view of the ocean. The staff are very pleasant, concerned about our well-being. We also tried the very generous and very good in-room brunch. And to finish the restaurant the dishes well presented and very good. We highly recommend.
We had a very pleasant stay. The team is young, dynamic and attentive at all times of the day. Thanks to their advice and good addresses, we discovered some very pretty places in Biarritz. We were won over by the decor and ambience of the hotel, everything was done very tastefully and we can't wait to come back.
Great hotel. The rooms are big and the staff is very friendly.

Amazing stay with amazing service. Anything we asked for was made possible. The restaurant and the breakfast was really good also, but a bit expensive though the breakfast can be a one time thing also to try all the nice Basque cakes outside the hotel as well. The spa was great.
A fantastic hotel, settled on cliffs with stunning sea views. We received a very warm welcome and the concierge team was going the extra mile to help us get organized. The junior suite on the highest floor with its own terrace with sea views is just amazing. Thank you @ Hotel Du Palais team!
The best ratio Quality/price You must try
Among the world's finest hotels. Majestic location, regal rooms and suites, and highly professional yet friendly service. Not cheap, but well worth the expense. If you are visiting Biarritz, you shouldn't miss the opportunity to stay in a true royal palace.
Simply an amazing time at Hotel du Palais. We were offered an upgrade for a fantastic suite facing the ocean. Service and staff was the best I had so far, fitting the expecting of a five star Palace Hotel. From check-in to check out, everting was essentially perfect in any aspect you would consider (rooms, situations, amenities, dining, staff, cleanliness, services). Amenities are nevertheless a...
I didn't stay in the hotel itself. But I visited the cafe on the south terrace. The building itself has a rich history, which gives the palace additional charm along with the rich interior decoration.

What a wonderful place! Everyone working was very helpful and kind. The hotel is romantic and perfectly located. The beds and pillows were so great.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the hotel Julian. It is well located just outside of the busy trendy area in the evening, and it is just a short walk down the hill to the beach es.
Lovely hotel. Great location: very easy to see the best of Biarritz by foot/bicycle as beaches and city life amenities are very close by. Warning if you come by car you must reserve parking far in advance as spaces are very limited (and finding parking in Biarritz in high-season is nearly impossible). But otherwise nice experience.
We stayed a night at Hotel Saint-Julien that was recommended to us by our local friend Charlotte. It was such a pleasant surprise. Love the local vibe of this boutique hotel. Rooms are comfortable and designed with flair. Staff is extremely nice and homemade breakfast was marvelous. ++ it’s walking distance from every attraction in Biarritz.
Excellent place to stay in Biarritz. Great location - close to the beach & surf schools. Wonderful atmosphere and excellent breakfast. Really good bed and linens.
We had a great experience staying at Hotel Saint Julien. We were privileged to try out a newly designed room, which looks amazing. We love the new design because it was easy in the eye and contemporary as opposed to what you would normally find in a typical coastal french hotel. The bed was super comfortable with crisp and clean sheets. The custom sofa was beautiful to look at but also very comfortable...

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at this hotel, taking advantage of our Accor membership. We were fortunate during our stay to be upgraded to a beachfront room. However, check-in is at 4 PM, which, in my opinion, is a bit late to fully enjoy the hotel's amenities, with checkout at 12 PM. The building is really old and could use some renovation. The room was very clean, and the crib was already...
I was a bit disappointed with some aspects of my stay at this hotel. The property could benefit from some renovations, particularly in the Thalasso area. While the team was generally good, there is room for improvement in the services provided. It would be helpful for the staff to have a better understanding of the All Accor benefits. Overall, I believe there is potential for the hotel to offer better...
We stayed hier in august 24. Only 4 stars and not 5 because price is too high maybe because of the season, although the design and condition of hotel not suit the price. Lobby and the bar is very dark and both have no design. Our room was completely ok, furniture is new or goodly cared, balcony a bit poor, but have partly see view. Personal is super friendly and caring. Also the house keeping is good...
The Sofitel Biarritz had great customer service and very comfortable rooms (save a bare bones balcony and noisy AC). However, the facility is in complete disrepair. It needs extensive work to look as it was advertised online. It was disappointing to see how old and uncared for both outside and inside (including the pool, with moldy bottom and sides) were. As a premier hotel brand, the building needs...
It is always a pleasure to renew our honeymoon every year at the Sofitel, it is pure luxury, the queen size beds are so comfortable, the outside swimming pool is fantastic even when it is windy weather - I quite like it as the pool is empty when the weather is bad. The gym and other spa facilities are fantastic.
We went here for a brunch and spa. The brunch was amazing but the service was out of this world. We had a great time at the spa+massage. Our group enjoyed every minute of it. A special thanks to Sophie M., the manager of the spa. 100% recommend it.

I very much enjoyed my stay, comfortable room, all staff friendly and helpful. Great location for beach and all amenities, would not hesitate to book again!
Loved this place. Great location. Charming place. Good value for money.
Really kind concierge, clean and cool rooms, and great location.
A very warm welcome and very helpful staff. The hotel is perfectly situated but has no attached car park, the carpark is a public one situated elsewhere. The rooms are slightly small but bed very comfortable. I recommend this hotel for short stays.
Spotless and quiet room. The staff is very welcoming, as are the owners. The hotels are the ones we love, in which we feel very comfortable. Nearby are parking lots, the ocean and shops. We'll get back to this as soon as possible.
Meets all your expectations Great team and management that will make your stay very enjoyable Thank you all very soon 😎

It was an true French experience! We had small and cozy room what looked so stylish. Everything was so soft, the pillows, the towels, the carpet on the floor, even the Clarins Paris shower gel in the bathroom. After this my body felt like a french satin. I really havent been impressed for so long time about an hotel room. Felt like in home, amazing!
Loved this hotel! The location to the beach and restaurants is outstanding! We had a bit of a problem finding the parking (be sure to reserve a place before you arrive) but the top notch staff were very helpful when we called to get directions. Our room was large (a triple room). The furniture was aged a bit but it didn’t hinder us from having a great stay. Besides who spends a lot of time in their...
Just spent the new year period at this hotel and really enjoyed it. The welcome from the receptionist was wonderful, the room was clean, large, well equipped and nicely decorated. The breakfast is exceptionally generous, all the usual plus bacon, sausages and smoked salmon, a real treat. We attended the New Years Eve gala in the restaurant and it was fabulous, great fun!! The only negatives are: we...
We stayed there for 3 nights, really enjoyable. Indeed the restaurant serves some French and also more modern dishes that gives us a clear idea of what’a a nice French restaurant ! Thanks for the service and wine tasting ! We’ll certainly be back back after Spain
All well and good, but the fact that the Parking is paid - no where it was stated.

This hotel is ideal for those looking to explore the city and enjoy the beach. Just a short walk away, the beach is easily accessible. The rooms are beautifully maintained, clean, and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay.
Great location and a good price for the room we received.
A nice 4 star hotel in the center of Biarritz. The hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to everything in the city. Plenty of bakeries, restaurants, pubs, and shopping within walking distance, but the hotel is still located on a fairly quiet street. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and has fresh decor. But it isn’t overly elegant or flashy. My room was on the 7th floor and had a beautiful...
Biarritz is a jewel, and having a 4-star hotel in the center requires the respect of Biarritz citizens, leadership, and customers. I mean that the Mercure President Hotel has to raise the challenge. The service we received at the reception, as well as in our room, was first class. The area of improvement is the breakfast; our advice would be to hire ASAP a 4 Stars Chief who would rebuild the image...
Good average chain hotel. Small rooms with very comfortable mattresses. Is strange to see the showers and the toilet with separated doors (very usual in Japan). The hotel is located 350 from the beach. Nice and affordable place to stay at if you are in Biarritz (France)
Room was clean. Paid for the upgrade to get balcony and they put in a room with a view...no balcony! There was a funky smell in the room of maybe backed up drain pipes. The breakfast was very good. There is a third party parking building right beside the hotel.... €19 a day. You can see the ocean from hotel but this area is too beautiful not to find a place right on the ocean... if you can afford...

Great location, within walking distance from shopping, restaurants, beach. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Staff was friendly and helpful. There is a parking garage conveniently close by.
One of the best showers we've ever had in a hotel! Very comfortable bed. No noise from other guests. Good location, right near the principle shopping street of Biarritz. Friendly staff. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Biarritz!
Excellent location and service. Cute and tastefully designed boutique hotel. Stayed 3 nights. Lovely and attentive receptionists. Glad we made Villa Koegui our choice to stay in Biarritz.

Really enjoyed my 1 night stay here. Friendly helpful staff, clean room and a comfortable bed for a good night's sleep. Food was good in the restaurant. Really close to the airport so not far to walk to catch my flight. Thanks
Room was very small. No plug socket by the bed for husband's CPAP machine but staff member did provide an extension from the bathroom plug which meant that the bathroom light couldn't be switched on in the night. Restaurant was closed so breakfast had to be taken in room but no extra chair provided. Stairs to upper floors outside and no lift. Staff were friendly but had to wait in the rain for reception...
Pretty good hotel to be honest. Location as said by everyone is perfect if you're wanting to be close to the airport and there is a local bus stop that gets you to the city centre / beaches. The only gripe I'd have is that the difference between a standard and superior room is negligible. I had a standard room and a friend paid for a superior room however we both agreed that the standard room was more...
Excellent location for walking to airport and walking distance to downtown (1 mile) through a lovely neighborhood with grocery store, laundromat and Church along the way. Biarritz is a lovely town with a wonderful seaside trail. The hotel breakfast was excellent value and an evening nightcap a relaxing way to end the day. Rooms are quiet, clean, the bed comfy.
I needed a room at short notice as Ryanair decided it was acceptable to dump as at Biaritz airport at 3am 5 hours after we were due to land having been diverted and bussed from Bordeaux. The hotel staff were excellent, the room very clean and comfortable and a great price. Excellent value for money.
Great room for a decent price with good shower clean bathroom good beds and functioning airco. Surprisingly quiet at night and breakfast was also excellent. Friendly staff.

Spotlessly clean and very well run hotel. A garage after prior reservation is available for 14 euros per day. Close to the city center on foot. It is with pleasure that we will return. Isabelle and Alphonse
It was a bit hard to find the hotel as the website doesn't work very well. Not good WiFi connection either and I will encourage the hotel to have more options for the continental breakfast. Although the place is nice, clean and the staff is friendly.
Excellent boutique hotel. Good location for beach and town centre. Staff could not be more helpful and Jean-Yves is not only a delight but nothing is too much trouble for his guests. The photo is the courtyard outside my room.

Nice location, not directly in the city center but close enough for a short drive. Staff was kind.
Nice big bed with dubble duvet. Otherwise plain rooms.
Great place NOT close to the main attractions in Biarritz. To be a little off, gives you the chance to go or to stay, and the stay is quite nice. Also, the chance to visit the spa and relax in the salty waters, makes this choice a superb one whilst looking at prices around. Free parking on premises is also nice.

spent an amazing week-end in this beautiful hotel. it is well maintained, very classy, with comfortable and luxurious rooms. the location of the hotel is ideal and close to everything you want to see in Biarritz. park your car in the private parking garage and walk around!!!
Warm and discreet service, quiet bedroom, comfortable bed. Breakfast on the ground floor art deco style cafe with the ocean view beats it all!
Great location for this beautiful and recently refurbished art nouveau hotel. Paid extra for a sea view and it was worth it. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean and stocked with most essential toiletries. Coffee pods and tea are provided in the rolls which we appreciated. The breakfast has a lot of choice but it could be better quality. The pastries were a bit low quality. This hotel is very loud...
I wanted a central location to be able to explore Biarritz and see the sights. The hotel was perfect for my purposes and the staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
It was the first time I’d stayed in an historic monument, and it didn’t disappoint. All the major historic features have been retained, but with 21st century facilities like USB chargers. Brilliant room with excellent view of the casino and Grand Plage. All in all a very relaxing break.

This is a good hotel that could be great. But if it were great it would be a higher price! I give it 3.5 stars based on good value for money and location I was bothered that they charged me €5 for a bottle of water that I understood to be complementary when I checked in (I will assume it was a language communication error as I don’t speak French) but they also gave me a 1 hour extra late check out...
The Hotel Florida is the BEST value in Biarritz among hotels. Perfectly situated 75 yards from the Beach in a nice square that is lined with good sidewalk cafes. Two streets over you will find the City Center, which has a chic beach town vibe. I recommend the Junior Suite for mature couples.
Beautifull entrance and lobby. Rooms are old, but fine for a long weekend exploring Biarritz. Location is perfect and staff is very friendly and helpfull! Worth the money.
A cosy hotel in the center of Biarritz. Nicely decorated rooms including air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, and Nespresso machine. The standard rooms are a bit small for longer stays... it's better to book a junior suite. The breakfast is typically French and unfortunately, there is no salad, sliced cucumbers, or anything similar.
Very nice hotel located in the city center and along with it is in 100 metres of the ocean coast. Rooms are large and clean, staff is friendly. You can stay here as a solo traveller or as a family - it will satisfy both sides.
Small room. Extremely small sink in the bathroom impossible to use for shaving
