Room a little old-fashioned, good breakfast and very welcoming staff.

The room was rather clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The toilet stopped flushing, we informed the reception about this and were given a neihboring room with a working toilet immediately. The location is 5 minutes walking from the airport which was quite useful for us (we rented a car at the airport the next day). Price/quality ratio is well balanced.

The hotel was great, we really liked it. The only problem was the factt that there is no elevator.

The bathroom was nicer than I expected.

As the hotel was originally built by Napoleon III for his empress, it carries great historical significance and an exceptional sense of luxury. This is truly what one would call a “luxury hotel.” Moreover, the spa and hotel facilities are excellent, and I felt that even during the off-season or in less favorable weather, guests can fully enjoy their stay at the hotel. It was our third stay at this hotel, and once again everything was absolutely wonderful. We arrived without a prior reservation, yet Álvaro at the reception kindly assisted us and found the perfect rooms for our needs. Come to the Brasserie for dinner. It doesn’t disappoint. Especially if you dine on the terrace or window side. I stayed here a few years back, and the room was lovely, breakfast exquisite. I came back just to dine this last summer and the terrace at sunset was incredible! Definitely worth a visit while in Biarritz!

What a special experience. We had Brunch on Sunday and what a fantastic experience. We were greeted and served by a wonderful team and the food was outstanding. Carla, Romain, Amory and M Griffon were the members of staff we met but we could see that this was such a well run Restaurant!. If you want an out of World experience then I would highly recommend a Sunday here.

The high end of hotels. Expect $1K per day. Sunday brunch is fantastic. Service is impeccable. Best to know some French. About half of the staff are not conversant in English.

The hotel is located in a beautiful position in fantastic city. Very nice place meet a little refurbishing. The room was very good very clean. It was warm and their air conditioning was shut down in the whole building except in the lobby.

The area is absolutely beautiful the location the hotel is excellent however I think needs some keep up. The whole structure is getting old and needs some maintenance. The parking it cost €30 a day.

Having booked hotel at short notice, I had seen a few mixed reviews including one that was critical of the staff. This hotel is very good indeed. The roof top restaurant has amazing views over the town and the sea. The evening menu is great and the all you can eat cooked and continental breakfast is outstanding. The rooftop pool is also a plus. Within a short walk from the restaurants at Biarritz and 5 to 10 minutes from the beaches we had a perfect stay.

We had a fantastic five days at Talaia hotel. Brilliant location, views, facilities, pool and food with helpful staff at reception. We had two rooms for our first stay which worked well with our three children, then after a weekend in Spain we came back to a single family room. Lots of room for the five of us and beds were all super comfortable. We will definitely return!

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival by Smail on reception which was nice and he was very helpful throughout our stay. However, the breakfast selection was quite limited and the egg boiler was turned off although the staff were friendly. The hotel is very central so great for exploring.

Good location, very close to the beach, spacious rooms. The room was cleaned every day! And the most important thing is that you can use the SPA! In the rooms there is soap, shower gel of the Nuxe brand, it's divine!

Location is phenomenal, customer service was nice. My complain I stayed for 2 days we were 2 adults and a kid. We never had shampoo Or body wash in the shower first day I thought ok the should refill tomorrow but it never happened. Lovely older building that has been updated and is very funky. Beautiful location however a little distance from city centre. Well appointed but not extravagant for the cost. Only issue we had was room had flies all over walls and was not checked prior to check in - issue was addressed once brought to staffs attention. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We were a bit disappointed in the staff at the hotel as a couple of requests were declined - early check-in and late check out (an hour). The hotel itself is fairly nice and the sea views were beautiful. The location of the hotel is outside the busy city core which can be difficult when looking for meals outside of the hotel.

September 2024 Been to the restaurant. This is not a tourist trap (looking at where it is located). Often a full house. Staff is helpfull and quick (after your first order ;-) ) good menu, looking at seasons while also have some classics on the menu. Good wine list also per glass. Your money's worth. Hotel has an excellent location for beaches and a myriad of bars, cafes and restaurants all within minutes. In the August heat the air con proved excellent. Given the location the room was quiet and kept very clean. Didnt try brekkie as so many places close by to tempt your morning appetite. Also very close to an excellent Carrefour.Not cheap but then this is Biarritz where Eugenie stayed! 😉

Stayed for 3 nights (confort double room in annexe building). Strategic location, close to the busy cafés and bistros. Still, it was quiet inside the room. Clean place. For two persons, room is a bit small with a narrow balcony accommodating a table and two chairs, overlooking the street (nice for morning coffee). Not very generous with basic toiletries (hair and body shampoo, soap, paper tissues etc...

This hotel is in a great location for walking the old downtown and access to the beaches, shopping district and cafes. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Definitely include the breakfast if you stay as it was an outstanding continental spread. If I'm back in Biarritz, I'm staying here again.

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff, free water and croissants in the foyer. Importantly, especially for older folk, there is a lift.

There are no tissue box in this hotel, bathroom only has soup, nothing else. Room is small, bathroom very small.

The staff was excellent and were genuinely happy to offer us help on anything. The breakfast items were from local bakeries and producers.

This is a very small hotel. We had a lovely room. The staff were all very helpful with supplies that were missing from our room. They helped us with restaurant suggestions and reservations. The hotel is right in town, minutes to everywhere. We did not have the breakfast, as 18 euros for what was offered seemed high compared to other hotels.

A wonderful stay at Villa Koegui! The staff were brilliant and so kind and attentive. The location in Biarritz was ideal; everything was within walking distance and only a short taxi ride from Biarritz airport. The room was spacious, with a comfortable bed and extremely clean. Stayed at Hotel Édouard VII for only 1 night but we were treated perfectly. Room had good AC which was good to get out the heat. They also stored our bags before check in and after we had to check out which was amazing for walking around. Ambroise was very helpful and ordered a taxi to take us to the train station. Well connected to bus stops for transfers to airport/train station (5 min walk). If I was to return to Biarritz I wouldn't even look elsewhere - 100% recommended.

It's close to the beach and the city center, but it's quiet at night and comfortable. The building is 150 years old, but the interior is modern and has a calm atmosphere.
