The hotel is located in a beautiful position in fantastic city. Very nice place meet a little refurbishing. The room was very good very clean. It was warm and their air conditioning was shut down in the whole building except in the lobby.

The area is absolutely beautiful the location the hotel is excellent however I think needs some keep up. The whole structure is getting old and needs some maintenance. The parking it cost €30 a day.

Biarritz is a jewel, and having a 4-star hotel in the center requires the respect of Biarritz citizens, leadership, and customers. I mean that the Mercure President Hotel has to raise the challenge. The service we received at the reception, as well as in our room, was first class. Good average chain hotel. Small rooms with very comfortable mattresses. Is strange to see the showers and the toilet with separated doors (very usual in Japan). The hotel is located 350 from the beach. Nice and affordable place to stay at if you are in Biarritz (France)

What a gem! The hotel was absolutely stunning only footsteps away from the beach and very centrally located to shops. The rooms were clean, spacious, and the staff took great care of us even leaving us a box of chocolates as a welcome for me and my finance. I loved this place! Thank you to the receptionist they were very kind with me and my family.

We were upgraded to a suite on arrival by Smail on reception which was nice and he was very helpful throughout our stay. However, the breakfast selection was quite limited and the egg boiler was turned off although the staff were friendly. The hotel is very central so great for exploring.

Room a little old-fashioned, good breakfast and very welcoming staff.

The room was rather clean. The personnel was friendly and helpful. The toilet stopped flushing, we informed the reception about this and were given a neihboring room with a working toilet immediately. The location is 5 minutes walking from the airport which was quite useful for us (we rented a car at the airport the next day). Price/quality ratio is well balanced.

Oh my goodness what a wonderful Chateau to stay in... It is owned and run by the original owners geat grandson. The interior is lovely and reflects it's heritage. My husband and I were very impressed with this hotel. Unfortunately we were not able to stay here, due to my 7 year old becoming very ill the days leading up to our stay. When I called the hotel to inquire about their cancellation policy, they informed me that we were past the point of receiving a refund (because we used an online travel agency to book). During our stay in the beautiful castle we imagined ourselves a landlord and castle lady for a night. The reception was super customer friendly. The room and the surrounding garden breathtaking. The concluding breakfast gave a feeling of satisfaction before our long journey home.

It is a good hotel. Friendly staff and good location. Grounds are very spacious and nice views. Catering is limited and rooms could do with air conditioning in warm weather. Other than that, all good.

I love this hotel I visited many times already. It simply with a unique quality. There is a professional friendly atmosphere. The receptionist George et Lola are very helpful. All the staff are doing the best for our comfort. It was a good surprise when they offered me "welcome macarons"! I can't wait to come back the soonest possible.

Lovely older building that has been updated and is very funky. Beautiful location however a little distance from city centre. Well appointed but not extravagant for the cost. Only issue we had was room had flies all over walls and was not checked prior to check in - issue was addressed once brought to staffs attention. Staff were very helpful and accommodating.

We were a bit disappointed in the staff at the hotel as a couple of requests were declined - early check-in and late check out (an hour). The hotel itself is fairly nice and the sea views were beautiful. The location of the hotel is outside the busy city core which can be difficult when looking for meals outside of the hotel.

This hotel is in a great location for walking the old downtown and access to the beaches, shopping district and cafes. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. The staff was very welcoming and helpful with recommendations. Definitely include the breakfast if you stay as it was an outstanding continental spread. If I'm back in Biarritz, I'm staying here again.

A lovely hotel with very helpful staff, free water and croissants in the foyer. Importantly, especially for older folk, there is a lift.

There are no tissue box in this hotel, bathroom only has soup, nothing else. Room is small, bathroom very small.

The staff was excellent and were genuinely happy to offer us help on anything. The breakfast items were from local bakeries and producers.

It's close to the beach and the city center, but it's quiet at night and comfortable. The building is 150 years old, but the interior is modern and has a calm atmosphere.

A lovely hotel. Stayed here last summer and it was such an exquisite place with beautiful decor. Room was in nice condition, spacious enough, and the bathroom also was spacious and bright. The small outdoor area where they serve breakfast was so serene and lovely that I almost wanted to cancel the day's schedule and sit there for hours. I'd love to be back there soon.

Hotel was very cozy and inviting. The staff honored my request discreetly as requested and our whole stay went without a hiccup. All in all, I would make this my go-to place in Biarritz :)

This had a very lovely boutique hotel feeling. It has a lot of character and a very friendly and accommodating staff. I would highly suggest this place to others visiting for first time.

Ideal location and a warm welcome very homely

Lovely small hotel within walking distance to all the main sights and beaches of Biarritz. Welcoming owner, comfortable room with an excellent breakfast provided in the morning. We enjoyed the pretty park across the street and the proximity to all the shops and markets nearby. We would definitely return!

Nice little hotel. It's not staffed between 2pm and 7am, but all the staff we met were very nice. We loved Biarritz.

Great location in the centre of town and handy for everything. Really enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of choice and home made jams were delicious. Sylvie was so helpful in highlighting all the sights we might want to see as well as restaurants to go to and day trips out of town.

What a wonderful boutique hotel! We only stayed there one night but were extremely pleased with the hotel. The rooms aren’t large, but that was alright since we only needed them for sleep and showers. My room was big enough for my wheelchair.We loved our breakfast which had excellent choices. It even had homemade jams for our bread. We highly recommend this hotel and certainly stay there again

This was a perfect place for us, for our first trip to Biarritz. I'm quite an exacting guest, but this business knows precisely what it's doing. It came as no surprise that the manager had travelled extensively herself - that's always a very good sign. We had to check in late in the evening: not a problem; the key code got us in, to find a welcoming envelope with our room key, basic details, etc. ...

It was a bit hard to find the hotel as the website doesn't work very well. Not good WiFi connection either and I will encourage the hotel to have more options for the continental breakfast. Although the place is nice, clean and the staff is friendly.

Very welcoming reception. Rooms were exactly what we expected and very clean. Also a convenient location, walkable to the beach and city centre. We visited in winter. It was off peak season, the hotel wasnt crowded and prices were very reasonable.

Location is phenomenal, customer service was nice. My complain I stayed for 2 days we were 2 adults and a kid. We never had shampoo Or body wash in the shower first day I thought ok the should refill tomorrow but it never happened. I would not recommend to pay for breakfast I think it’s expensive for just basic food. You can get a better cheaper breakfast going somewhere else.

This is a good hotel that could be great. But if it were great it would be a higher price! I give it 3.5 stars based on good value for money and location I was bothered that they charged me €5 for a bottle of water that I understood to be complementary when I checked in (I will assume it was a language communication error as I don’t speak French) but they also gave me a 1 hour extra late check out...

The Hotel Florida is the BEST value in Biarritz among hotels. Perfectly situated 75 yards from the Beach in a nice square that is lined with good sidewalk cafes. Two streets over you will find the City Center, which has a chic beach town vibe. I recommend the Junior Suite for mature couples.

Beautifull entrance and lobby. Rooms are old, but fine for a long weekend exploring Biarritz. Location is perfect and staff is very friendly and helpfull! Worth the money.

A cosy hotel in the center of Biarritz. Nicely decorated rooms including air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, and Nespresso machine. The standard rooms are a bit small for longer stays... it's better to book a junior suite. The breakfast is typically French and unfortunately, there is no salad, sliced cucumbers, or anything similar.
